Everyone made way as Bianca stormed into Alvin's office.

" Did you lock Kate in prison? She's the mother of your child" she yelled which had him standing up in anger.

" She ran away from me with a bump. She almost succeeded. I don't care about her anymore. I don't care what she does"

" She's still your wife. You haven't divorced her yet. Alvin, listen to me. This isn't how to treat a woman. She had surgery. Didn't you listen to what I said the other time? Someone isn't happy with your marriage to Kate. Someone is dividing you two. Give her a break and investigate. She's a victim son" she barked irritated by his repulsive behavior

" Oh really. It doesn't change anything. She did it and that's on her. Everything I have found out so far is true. She did it. She ran away and almost killed my baby. That's on her too"

" Almost, Simon is alive, isn't he? She was running away from you Alvin. She could have had an abortion but she chose to keep him. Alvin, don't do this. You may not love another as you did her "

" I don't care. Simon is enough for me. She's going to rot there till I said otherwise . that's her punishment for trying to have my son killed" he said taking a seat.

" Why don't you hear from her. Let her explain and how did you know all this? please investigate or I will" she spoke determined as he massaged his brow.

" Fine but she stays there till I see results. she'll think twice before disobeying me" he Finally agreed as Bianca smiled giving him a warm hug.

" I know you're hurt but Simon needs his mother. So do you if I may add. " She sassed.

" Can I see my grandson? She requested snugly

The chief came out of his office to welcome David as he stepped into the station.

" Welcome Mr. Wilson, to what do I owe this pleasure" he tried to be impressive leading him to his office, he went as far as wiping his chair clean for him to sit.

"You have a prisoner that I'll like to see in private. Kate Patterson. No cameras or security. Will that be a problem? He said as a matter of fact like an order.

" N..." The chief of police stuttered as David furrowed his brows.

" Did you say something? He asked cockily as the chief of police shook his head leading him to the prison ward.

" What were you going to say? He asked like a command.

" Mr. Alvin restricted visits. You know how he is when he's disobeyed but I'll make an exception for you " he grinned sending the warden to get her while he sat at the visiting area waiting.

Kate walked out of the ward with a jumpsuit surprised to see David. " What are you doing here? I don't need your help. Forget it. I won't turn to you. You and Alvin are the same. Leave" she yelled at him as David motioned for them to have her sit.

" I'm just here to help you, Kate. I want nothing in return. I feel responsible for letting you marry a monster. I can't believe he killed Dante then framed you for it. You've no idea how much it hurts to see you this way. Let me help you but you have to annul your marriage to Alvin. Kate? He called as she wasn't responding to his rant rather staring at him with no interest.

" I've nothing to lose. My son is dead. Dante, too there's nothing to return to. I know he'll take care of my family. Count me out of your little scheme David. I'm tired of being used as a pawn. Don't ever come here. I'm done talking to you" she spilled about to stand up but he held her.

" Don't you want to be free? I'm surprised you would turn to a stranger and not me We're friends. Had I told you Alvin wasn't good for you, you wouldn't have listened with the way you gawked at him with dreamy eyes. I just wanted you to be happy and Alvin did just that. My intentions are realistic. I want you to be free from his bonds and I guarantee you, Alvin won't be able to fight me he knows that. I'm just as powerful as him" he coerced as she closed her eyes then sighed putting her hands on the table.

" I don't have evidence. I'll think about it. I want to see Simon's grave for the last time. Can you do that for me? I would have loved to see how he looked like but I guess it's too late for that. His grave will do" she muttered as David sighed looking at her livid appearance.

" Kate? He called holding her hands tenderly. She looked at him withdrawing her hands from his which had him frowning but concealed it " I'll do anything to make it up to you. Starting with your pale face. I can't believe Alvin will imprison you after you had surgery. Anyways, you'll be treated nicely from now on. I'm going to take care of you. Think carefully " he uttered inversely trying to dictate Alvin's cruelty.

" Yeah. Thanks for coming" it came out as a whisper cos she wasn't getting better.

" You're welcome. I'll make sure you're taken care of. I brought your favorite food. I'll send you some clothes later perhaps post bail you if you agree" he stated trying not to be desperate.

" Yeah. I'll think about it" she said aware that nothing comes easy. Alvin helped her mom because he wanted her, David must want something from her too and that scares her. She was tired of being used. David has to specify what he wants from her.

" What do you want in return David? Tell me nothing cos I'm not a kid. What do you want from me? She asked which amused him.

" Nothing for now. I just want to make up for my mistake. You can trust me" she sneered. Who does he think she is, a kid? He can act all amorous and all but she won't be fooled a second time thus she was going to take her time to think about it.

David might be right about one thing, he could contend with Alvin but that doesn't mean he can beat him. She can't handle him alone though every bone in her body wants him to pay for killing their baby.

She could only call herself a fool for loving a devil. She won't be that stupid anymore. She was going to make him pay and if David wants to use her as a pawn what's stopping her from using him as a pawn also. Two can play the game but she was still grieving. She needed her sanity if she was to go through with it.

" I don't blame you but myself. Truth be told I wouldn't have believed you had you warned me. I was whipped. Let's forget about that. Thanks again for visiting me." She appreciated standing up to leave then heard his voice.

" You still have me. Don't lose hope. Alvin isn't the right one for you" she nods in agreement exiting the room while David smiled coyly.
