The magnificent large building came into view as Colton geared towards it entering the underground parking lot after they alighted.

With his chin up Alvin followed the dean of the hospital who led him to the fastest elevator to his father's private ward. Kate wasn't surprised by the special treatment. Who knows he might be the owner of the hospital.

They disembarked and another crowd of people welcomed him, from their wrinkled faces, she could tell it was the board of directors. female nurses and doctors looked at her with envy and contempt which had to crease her brows wondering what she did to them. It was her first time meeting them when she noticed the gawking eyes they were giving Alvin and frowned.

Can't they see her beside him? Aren't they aware of his marital status? Then Cynthia came forward holding his hands.

' Hello, Alvin. Your dad is this way. Why is she with you? She mouthed. To others, it seemed like they were intimate. Everyone knew she was his ex.

Kate clenched her fist and yanked her hands off him. The board of directors gave Cynthia a warning glare which she adhered to leaving his side.

Alvin's attention was elsewhere. Kate held his hands which had him turning to her.

" You seem clingy today. Do you want something from me? " He whispered like he was flirting with her. She giggled shyly.

" I just want to hold you." She spoke tenderly as they entered Mr. Reagan's ward who was lying on the bed with Iv fluids dripping slowly into his veins.

Bianca regarded them giving him a hug and a kiss to Kate. Cynthia's face darkened, when did she accept Kate?

' Mr. Reagan, how are you feeling? Mrs. Kang, it's nothing serious right? She asked taking a seat by the couch, unlike a certain someone who preferred standing like a statue.

" I'm fine my dear. Just a minor concussion. Bianca exaggerated" she chuckled looking at Bianca who felt wronged.

" Doc, Is he really alright? Alvin inquired worriedly for him.

' Yes. He's fine. As you can see, he's not on a bandaid. Just a minor issue. He could be discharged tomorrow' the attending doctor explained respectful respite the age gap.

" Alright. Mom, you've nothing to worry about. Dad still has a lot of birthdays to celebrate" he assured her then walked with the doctors outside to talk leaving Kate behind.

Mr. Reagan watched her fiddling with her hands and cleared his throat wondering where Alvin got her from.

" Say it if you want something from me" she raised her head quicker than the words that left his mouth stupefied.

" My wife told me you want to divorce my son. Is that true? She lowered her head finding words heavier.

"Yes. You don't have to give me alimony. I don't want it ' she sputtered fanning herself with her fingers though it was freezing cold.

"You're aware he didn't wed you in court? It's not something that can easily be done unless it's his decision. I advise you to try to understand him some more okay? Alvin, cherish your presence in his life trust me. You don't want to anger him " he spoke rather calmly " why don't you try having children. He loves kids. He'll appreciate you more when he's born." He added but she squinted her eyes wondering what's their problem with her having kids. Can't they hear her?

" I am... Fine. Are you hungry? Is there a particular home dish you're craving? She asked as Mr. Reagan smirked. It was a sly smile.

" Yes. Perhaps you can get it for me. " He paused " just something to entertain me with' he finished with a grin.

Kate regretted her words the moment they left her mouth but spoken words were like a broken egg. It can't be unspoken thinking he was going to ask her to get something beyond her reach then heaved a sigh of relief at his request.

She excused herself to get it while Bianca smiled poking her husband.

" You just want to tease the poor girl" they both laughed while Kate came in moments later with some magazines and newspapers.

" I'm back. I hope you like reading or glancing through things" Bianca passed it to her husband giving her a thumbs up.

" Here I bought a cup of latte for you. Expensive latte actually' she tells him passing it to him.

' thanks but I still need grandchildren. You've to convince Alvin to have some. He's not getting younger" he stated then lectured her on how to win a man's heart.

Dante wanted to try his luck taking the video and recording to the high court and it was rejected. Which judge will like to pass judgment on him? They further told him to stay out of it.
