Their eyes looked at each other deeply as if they were trying to dig into the secret hidden inside. Precious felt she could not accept Alex's sudden proposal but in the end she took his hand and sank himself in an oasis called hope. The hope of happiness that he built was only for a place to escape from the fear that enveloped his heart and mind.

In his modest apartment room Liza was laying her head on Dennis's lap. They watch classic romantic films accompanied by popcorn that they make themselves. Liza watched every romantic scene by imagining her and Dennis playing the role.

Liza continues to imagine what it would be like if Dennis was not a selfish person but someone who is caring, kind and cares deeply for her like the main male character in the film. Imagining how happy she would be if her imagination was true made Liza smile without her knowing.

"Why are male protagonists in movies always sweet, but not in real life? It would be nice if there was a man who would do anything for me. " Liza muttered

"That's because movies are just fiction, something about fiction will never come true." Dennis said simply

Liza then turned to look at Dennis, who didn't seem to care much. Liza got up and looked at Dennis with a sullen face. Liza also has sparkling eyes as if she wants something.

"Don't you love me?" Liza asked

"Why are you suddenly asking like that? Of course I love you. " Said Dennis, stroking Liza's hair

Liza smiled and her face turned red, she was very happy just by hearing the simple love words that Dennis said. Dennis stroked Liza's head gently then he looked down and kissed Liza's lips.

Their lips and tongues collide with each other deeper and deeper. Liza's cheeks turned red and a sweet smile broke out on her face. Even when Dennis pulled himself up and stopped their kisses, Liza couldn't stop smiling because she was very happy.

Dennis rubbed Liza's head a few times then he stood up and picked up his jacket which was hanging on a coat hanger. Liza got up and sat on the bed watching Dennis who wore his jacket with a look of hope.

"Can't you accompany me tonight? Just tonight ... "said Liza

"I can't, I have to work ..." Dennis said

"Can't you stop and look for another job? Every night you have to work at a bar and then go drinking with your friends. We don't have much time together, I also want to be like other people coming home from work together and spending the night together. " Said Liza

"I can't, I like being a bartender. I promise this weekend we will spend time together. " Said Dennis

Dennis rubbed Liza's head then kissed her briefly and went to work. Liza could only sit and stare at the door Dennis passed with a frown. Liza immediately turned off the TV and lay down and pulled the blanket over her entire body.

Morning came back, Precious who was ready to work straight out of the hospital and stood in the lobby of the hospital while waiting for the taxi she already ordered. But it wasn't the taxi that came to pick her up but Alex. Alex opened the door of his car with a big smile asking Precious to get in his car.

Precious stood up and approached Alex with a confused face. She also looks unhappy with the special treatment from Alex. Precious did not smile and instead looked at Alex in annoyance.

" What are you doing?" Precious asked in annoyance

"Of course picking you up." Said Alex with a big smile

Alex was very happy holding Precious's shoulders but Precious immediately brushed his hand away harshly to make Alex look at her with a confused and surprised look.

" What is wrong? Why are you so upset? " asked Alex with an innocent look

"I want to go to work alone, don't pick me up like this. You make me feel so bad. I don't like being pitied, "said Precious, snapping at Alex

"But I didn't do this out of pity. Aren't we going to get married? Do I think that myself? " Said Alex with red eyes and sad eyes

"Even though we want to get married, marriage is not that easy. Did you tell your family? Friends, office ? This isn't just about you and me, marriage is a big thing. " Said Precious

"I know that, so I want to tell everyone." Said Alex

Alex then held both Precious hands and they looked at each other deeply. Their eyes became a bridge to each other's hearts as if they were looking into each other's hearts.

"We agreed to get married. So today I want us to enter the office together and I will introduce you to everyone as my future wife. " Said Alex

Precious was silent, she melted at Alex's sincere and very beautiful words. As if she saw an oasis in the middle of the desert, Alex gave her hope in her ruined life. Everything is too beautiful to let go of. In the end Precious followed Alex, she sat in the car then she looked at Alex's smiling face as he drove.

Precious felt Alex was too good for her to the point that she felt guilty. Precious felt she had become a source of trouble that would destroy Alex's life. Even so she could not refuse Alex's helping hand and could only reach it and survive.

They arrived at the office, eagerly Alex got out of the car and opened the car door for Precious. Alex then stretched out his hand and smiled broadly as he looked at Precious. Precious looked doubtful and her eyes lowered. Then Alex immediately held Precious's hand and then said,

“Come on, let's go in together. If you are not ready I will continue to wait for you like this. I will not leave you."

Hearing that, Precious felt calmer then got out of the car while holding Alex's hand. They entered the office together with their hands tightly interlocked. Even though many were staring at them, but Alex and Precious did not seem to care. They still looked at each other as if the world belonged to them alone.
