He was asked to go to Doctor Rane's room feeling very confused at that time. Alex didn't know why an obstetrician wanted to talk to him because he didn't know that Precious was pregnant at the time. Doctor Rane also seemed to know that, so she looked doubtful before she spoke.

"Do you know that Precious is pregnant?" asked Doctor Rane directly to the topic

"Pregnant?" said Alex, very surprised

"Yes, it's been 2 months." Said Doctor Rane

"I know she won't say this to anyone, but you seem to care deeply about her. Did you know that Precious is planning to abort the baby? " said Doctor Rane again and made Alex very surprised

"I know I can't interfere in her choice, but I can't let her do something she will regret especially if it's only because of her fear of public opinion. So I want you to be able to prevent her from doing that. " Said Doctor Rane

"Fine, I will definitely take care of Precious and make her change her mind." Said Alex promised

Alex kept thinking about his promises along the way and hoped he would not be too late in stopping Precious from having an abortion.

Meanwhile Precious was ready with the patient's blue robe to be operated on. She lay on the operating bed staring at the operating lamp that shined brightly on it. A doctor who was in full uniform and ready to perform surgery came up to her and held her hand to give courage and drive out the fear in her heart.

"Now we will start the anesthesia procedure, don't be afraid ... you will only sleep for a while then you will wake up and everything is finished. Take it easy." Said the doctor

Precious nodded her head, though fear gnawed at her heart but slowly she felt calm. The doctor also installed a breathing apparatus to Precious to anesthetize it with the device.

Everything is ready and slowly the anesthetic gas is drained and inhaled Precious. Precious began to feel her breathing and her heartbeat increasingly clear.

Operating lights that shine brightly begin to look dim and dim. Her ears were filled with the sound of her breathing and heartbeat so she could not hear any other sounds.

Her consciousness began to fade, but Precious could still see 1 doctor and 2 nurses seen talking about something while looking at the door. They looked surprised but Precious couldn't hear anything.

And when her consciousness was almost completely gone she looked at the door and then the door suddenly opened wide and faintly she saw Alex running into the operating room with a panicked face and then held her hand tightly. Alex was seen saying something but Precious couldn't hear it and then her lost her consciousness completely and fell asleep in a long and deep sleep.

‘Dark, everything is dark. I can't see anything. Why is everything so dark? Scared, not even a single light. Please, anyone "

The whole room looked pitch black Precious tried to walk but she could not see anything. She was trapped in a dark room in her consciousness. Fear enveloped her by becoming a black shadow and she could not run from it.

Not even a speck of light was there to illuminate the path. Until faintly she heard the voice that called her and Precious who followed the direction of the voice finally found the light that led her to get out of that fear.

After a deep sleep for 6 hours due to the influence of the anesthetic finally Precious slowly opened her eyes. At first her vision was blurred and she could not see anything clearly. Until finally she could see clearly and the first thing she saw was a pale and worried Alex's face looking at her with a relieved look.

Precious raised her hand and Alex immediately took her hand. Precious still felt dizzy because the effects of the drug had not completely disappeared. Precious tried to get up even though she was still too weak to move her body. Alex then helped Precious and put the pillow as a backrest.

"What are you doing here?" Precious asked

"I, stop your abortion ..." Alex said, making Precious fully aware

Like hearing the sound of lightning in the daytime the effects of the remaining drugs in Precious's body immediately disappeared completely and Precious was fully conscious. Her eyes immediately opened wide when she heard the abortion had been stopped.

" What do you mean? What does that mean ... "Precious said very surprised

"Yes, the baby is still there." Alex said with his head down

Precious was immediately holding Alex's collar with both hands. She pulled hard, Alex was ready to accept Precious's anger even if she was going to hit him. But, Alex who was closing his eyes in fear instead heard a soft, low cry.

Alex then opened his eyes and saw dropping of tear falling from Precious's eyes. The tears ran down her cheeks then fell to the blanket she was wearing. Alex was silent because it was the first time he had seen Precious cry.

So far, Precious has always held her sadness and not let her tears be seen by others. But now he saw the tears falling in front of him from the eyes of Precious who was looking at him very sadly. Peter was devastated to see Precious crying, reached out and gently wiped her tears.

Precious then held Alex's hand that touched his cheek. She held it tightly and the grip felt trembling and full of sadness. Precious closed her eyes holding back tears to fall and muffled her voice from being heard. But all of that made him even more broken and sink deeper into his fears and worries.

"Now what should I do? How will I live with all this? " said Precious in a low voice

Alex hugged Precious tightly then he said "It's okay, everything will be fine."

Suddenly Precious pushed Alex hard. Alex is confused because Precious looks very upset. Alex tried to hold her shoulder but Precious immediately brushed Alex's hand away harshly.

"No, everything is not fine! Why do you have to interfere and ruin everything ?! Now what do I do ... How should I live my life carrying this disgrace ... "Precious said with tears in his eyes

"Then let's just get married." Said Alex made Precious laugh sadly because the words were very sweet but impossible to do

"If we get married, we don't need to care about other people. Everyone will not talk nonsense if we get married. " Said Alex

" Are you crazy? Do you know what that means? That's impossible ... "said Precious, shaking her head and sinking her face into her palms

" But why? Is it because we're in the same office, or because you don't like me or even, because of the baby? " asked Alex but Precious was still silent

"I promise to take care of you and your baby well. You don't need to worry, maybe I lack a lot but I will try my best to make you happy. ” Said Alex
