Madison POV

As soon as Dr. Melvin left the office, I walked to the bed and sat beside Zach. I examine his cuts and bruises on his face. His stomach has been stitched and his arm too. I feel horrible, really horrible.

“I shouldn’t have sent you away right?” I said, my voice barely above a whisper.

“I am so sorry” I added trying not to cry but I couldn’t help it.

I placed my hands on his left cheek caressing it, “I’m here okay? I’ll not leave you again. I promise” I whispered as I laid down on his chest still caressing him.

“Keep doing that, it feels so good.”

“Holy Molly!” I jumped back hearing Zach’s voice.

“You’re awake. What the hell Zach! You startled me” I breathed out heavily.

“I said keep doing it” he sasses back and I rolled my eyes

“Zach, I hope you’re fine” I said to him and he returned a smile at me.

“She cares about me, how sweet” he smiled and reached to cup my cheeks

“I thought you were going to die, thanks for not dying” I said lowly and heard him laugh.

“You know I am Zach Westley, I am a fighter” he replied with an assuring smile.

Yes he is, he just prove it to me again.

“What about the rest of them?”

“Adrian and Liam are still in their ward, I guess. And Zane is outside, I guess he will be coming in soon” I replied and made an attempt to get up but he stopped by holding my hand.

“Zach…”

“You said you will not leave me right?” he asked with a puppy eye. The handsome Zach I know has suddenly turned into a baby. His neck length hair was packed up and a few across the left side of his face making him look more cute.

“Yes I said so.” I replied.

The door twists open with Adrian and Liam behind it.

As soon as I was Liam, the smile on my face disappeared.

I stepped back slowly and I am sure Zach noticed and so, he stopped me.

Liam head went low as he stepped into the ward and did something I never expected.

“Madison, I am so sorry for the way I behaved towards you then. Please do me a favor by forgiving me” he pleaded softly.

My eyes went wide as I turned to Zach with a questioning look on my face.

He winks at me and I turned back to Liam, pulling him from the ground.

“Hey, get up…I have forgiven you already. I am also sorry too” I replied. He turned to look at Zach with this look on his face, like he is asking for permission to do something.

“What?” Zach asked him clearly having no idea of what Liam meant.

“Can I hug her?” he asked and I chuckled m

“What the?? Why would you want to?, You already apologized that is enough” Zach replied immediately as he tried to seat up.

I laughed lowly as Zane stepped into the room, Our attention went to him. Immediately he saw Zach awake, he ran to him and pulled him to a hug. “Big brother, I thought I would loose you” he groaned.

“Eh, you should know you won’t, never” Zach replied as he rubbed his hands against his back.

Zane pulled away and turned to look at me with a smile, “What?”

“I knew you both already had sometime to talk, damn I am happy for you big brother. You have a woman like Madison, I’ll go find mine” Zane giggled

“Nope! You won’t find any until you are 20 years old” Zach retorted and my eyes went wide.

“Wait, Zane…how old are you?” I gasped and Adrian laughed.

“How old does he look?”

“Maybe 23” I shrugged

“No!, Liam is 23 and Zane is 19” he replied with a low laugh.

My jaw dropped, I faced Zane and then Zach, “Are you surprised?” he asked me

“Why shouldn’t I be? Yes I am. This kid is part of your activities”

“Damn, not you too” Zane muttered as he rolled his eyes.

“No wonder I love everything about Zane” I chuckled and walk to him to cross my hands around his shoulders.

Zane’s face brightened up with a smile on his face, “I am loving this” he replied.

Zach laid on the bed as he glared at the both of us, I couldn’t help but laugh and turned to Adrian.

“Have you heard from Krystal?” I asked and he nods his head.

“Yeah, lover boy. Immediately he woke up, she was the first person he asked of forgetting he knows us” Zane pouts his lips and replied.

“I’ll leave you guys for now” I said and walk out of the ward.

I was still standing by the door and heard Adrian’s question, “Did you know where Kingsley went to with Kevin? I really don’t know what happened after I passed out” he said

“That bastard, he came back when I thought he won’t again” Zach said. I have a sudden interest in their conversation, which Kingsley are they talking about?

I slowly closed the door so I could hear more, “I wonder why Greg won’t let go of him. Kingsley is very good and I wonder why he is into this Mafia activities, I know he wants something and that is why Greg took him in. You and I know Greg is a prick, he would not give him anything at the end” Zane replied

“That’s true, I was told he traveled sometime. Greg thinks he is wise by using Kingsley to give me a surprise attack” Zach groaned.

“I saw the smile on his face after he shot you, I had to shoot him too but the only thing that makes me mad is that I didn’t shoot his forehead but his arm instead” Liam groaned.

I really don’t know how to explain how I am feeling now. My whole system has changed.

“Kingsley? Could it be him?” I thought.
