Madison POV

And what's making him call me?

I'm over excited to see him call but still…

I stared at the screen of my phone for sometime before I swiped the screen to answer the call.

"Madison?" His voice came up from the other end.

"Kingsley? Like seriously is this your voice? Am I hearing from you again??" I exclaimed happily as I jumped up from the ground.

"Oh my goodness! Madison, I am so happy to hear from you again" he replied as excited as I am too.

"Damn, where in earth have you been? The last time I heard from you was like two years ago dude" I laughed and walked back into the kitchen.

"Yeah, that's true and my apologies. I got occupied with work and on the other hand, I lost your contact" he replied with a soft voice.

"I am sorry about that, hope you've been good?" I replied

" Yeah, I am not bad though. Damn, I really can't wait to see you" he exclaimed happily…

I carved my brows and chuckled lowly.

" Don't tell me you're in New York now, you didn't tell me you'd be coming over!!" I exclaimed and heard him chuckle.

"Not yet sweetheart, I'd be leaving Los Angeles soon for New York" he replied and my jaw dropped.

I gasped lowly and covered my mouth with my palm.

"Are you for real? Damn I can't wait for you to" I giggled and then poured myself coffee.

"Yes sweetie, once I get to New York you'd be the first person I'll see" he replied.

"I can't wait, get goodies as usual" I giggled and took a sip gently.

" Yes sweetie, I need to get something.. I'll call you some other time okay?" He replied

" I'm really happy to hear from you again, please take good care of yourself okay?" He continued.

I gave a side smile " I'll be waiting for you Kingsley" I replied and then ended the call.

Well, if anyone ever told me that Kingsley would be back to NY, I would probably have not believed.

So, now that I've heard from him I am sure that he would be coming to New York in few days.

Damn, I am so excited

Kingsley and I have been so close even after I lost my parents. He has always been there for me except that he traveled for work but this time he is back.

Kingsley is more like a big brother to me. Yes I don't have a sibling but he's the only one I have with Krystal.

I am certainly sure that once Krystal finds out he'll be coming to New York, she would be so happy.

I leaned against the wall in my kitchen holding the cup of my coffee in my hand and sipped for my cup slowly with smiles on my face..

***EVENING***

Well first of all, I am grateful to Dr. Melvin for giving me this opportunity to stay at home. I mean, this off day means a whole lot to me.

Well, I haven't heard anything yet from Krystal. I am sure she's occupied with work and in no time she'd call me since I've been dropping text messages and also calling her line.

I stepped out of my laundry room to my bedroom to get myself busy with study.

As soon as I got into my room, I close the door behind me and went to seat on my office table, that's a special spot in my room where I read and work.

I was about to open the screen of my laptop but then a call came in.

Taking out my phone for my pocket I saw it was Krystal calling.

"Bae! How have you been? I've been so worried" I said immediately answering the call.

"I am so sorry, I left my phone in do not disturb mode since I was so occupied with work, damn..I just went through all your text messages. You're making me really feel so special now" she giggled as I rolled my eyes.

" Oh!, whatever I hope you had a good day though?" I laughed and pulled my seat back then sat down.

" Yes I did, thanks love" she replied

"I just left my office heading home now. I am really exhausted. Can you imagine? Doctor Phil passed out before carrying out an operation" she replied.

I could sense disappointment from the way she spoke.

" I really don't know what their phobia is, why would they be passing out?" I rolled my eyes and leaned my back against my seat.

"I really don't know Madi" she replied.

We remain quiet for some time since there was really nothing to say regarding the issue anymore.

Boom!

Krystal spoke up again.

"Anything's popping? How is your day going?" She asked breaking the silence.

"Well I wont to say it's been bad, I've been busy throughout since when I woke up and even till now" I sighed.

Well yes I was, Zach Westley got me busy too in the morning and after he left, Kingsley did.

" I can imagine, at least there was no Zach to stress you" she sighed and I laughed out.

"Speaking about Zach, well he actually came to disturb me"

" What the! To your home?" She exclaimed. I am sure that right now her mouth is opened wide and her eyes out like they want to jump out of her eye sockets.

"Of course yes, what do you expect when he's a mafia boss?"

"Yeah, true though..but I'm sure you had a good time with him" she chuckled.

I understand that sound she made, " dirty girl, he's beginning to have an effect on me and I'm hating it" I muttered

" Girl! You love him?" Krystal asked the most craziest question ever.

" What?. Me?. Love Zach?" I laughed out

"Bae, I suggest we change the topic, I can't keep talking about that guy because I am afraid I'll see him in my dreams" I laughed out lowly and she did too.

"Alright, fine..so what's popping?" She asked again then I remembered Kingsley called earlier.

"Oh yeah! Guess who called?" I squealed shaking my head childishly

"Who?!" She was clearly anxious, curious, expectant!

"Your secret crush!!" I added

Yeah, Krystal had been crushing on Kingsley since she met him few years ago. It was obvious to him and I doubt he knows.

"Who….?" She replied again

"Don't tell me you don't know who I am referring to?!" I laughed out slapping my forehead

"No I don't, so Tell me already!" She cried out

"Damn…"

" What!! Madison!" She yelled

"Oh yeah you are right, I have a crush right now but lemme hear it from you" she replied

" Sure you will" I laughed purposely delaying her answer.

" Madison! Stop it already!" She cried out of frustration.

" Guess" I shrugged and pulled my hair behind my ear

" Adrian?" She replied and my jaw dropped.

" What! You have a crush on Adrian??" I exclaimed as I sat up.

I don't need to be told anymore. I know who Adrian is, he's the guy I always see with Zach and he is probably Zach's right hand man

"Who are you referring to then?" She asked lowly…that doesn't answer my question.

"Kingsley!!"

"He called" I continued..
