Chapter 34: Chapter 34
- Third Person's POV -
"So what's your plan now?" A good-looking man asked the Lord in front of him who's busy watching the darkness of the night through the window glass.
But the Lord didn't respond as he was silent, and the tension inside the room was dark and scary, however, the good-looking man was feeling at ease even with the scariest known man in front of him.
The scariest man who has killed countless creatures may be demons, vampires, werebears, werewolves and even humans. That is why he is called as the lord of the whole nation of werewolves and the fear of all.
"Butch has sent her home safely, won't you help her find her family?" The good-looking man asked.
"Leave her to me, Cyrus. And just do your job properly." The Lord said to the good-looking man as his hands clenched in anger.
Cyrus nodded, "I apologize, I must have stepped out of line. Don't worry, consider my job well done." He said as he stepped back and was about to leave, however, before he walked away, the Lord spoke.
"Tell Butch not to touch my business or he won't spend another day." Each word was venomous when he said it.
Cyrus bowed his head and answered, "Will tell him."
- Maive's POV -
Damn, I feel so tired! I slumped in my bed as I looked into the ceiling.
I took a deep breath and sighed, will I ever see my relatives? I hope so. I hope that they are still alive, does my father have siblings too? For sure I also have cousins. Damn, I really wanted to have at least a family and meet them.
I feel so lonely thinking that I have no family relatives but I am so glad that I have my foster parents who have loved me dearly, I feel not alone.
With the fatigue from all that had happened to me that day, I was able to sleep after some thinking but before my essence was embraced by darkness, a picture of Daxton popped up. I shook my thoughts from thinking of him and let darkness consumed me.
I am supposed to still worry about the tulips which were mysteriously placed on top of my table but with the tiredness finally sinking in, I slept without worrying about that thing. I will worry about such a thing another day.
As the new day began, I woke up with a thousand things running in my head. Ever since I have studied in this university, my interest in learning and studying seemed to be a little off. I just focused on finding out about my identity rather than focusing on my studies.
I got up from my bed and went to the bathroom to shower. Once I finished my shower, I changed into my uniform and looked at myself in the mirror.
I smiled and saw a beautiful version of me smiling back at me. I was wearing a white blouse with a dark blue ribbon and a dark blue skirt that reached my mid thigh, high black socks and a black heeled shoes. It suits me though, it kinda looks good. Well, I could hear some telling me I am pretty, which I say, I am, judging by my taste. I won't judge others if they would say I am ugly, we have different tastes after all.
After eating my breakfast, I hurriedly went to my class and saw Gabriella and Anne talking with each other.
They waved their hands when they saw me entering.
"Hey! How's your day yesterday?" Gabriella asked when I put my bag on my chair and took a seat.
I sighed, shrugging, "I couldn't find a single relative."
Anne tapped my back, "It's okay Maive, one day, you'll see them."
"Just think positive Maive, as for now, let's enjoy. I'm sure the 3K's will attend classes today." Gabriella said as she giggled which made Anne blushed and somehow my heart skipped a beat.
Damn, just the word 3K's and I don't feel at ease. "Stop talking about them, I'm sure they won't come. As you said, they only come out once in a blue moon." I said.
When I was about to put an earphone in my ears, the students outside started screaming out of joy and excitement.
"Oops, they seemed to have come." Gabriella mocked as she stood up from her seat and tried to look at the window to know what was happening outside, even some of our classmates ran outside.
I bit my lip as I ate what I had said. Damn, I thought they were rarely seen but they seemed to be seen often.
"It's quite strange..." I heard Anne say in a low voice which made me look at her.
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"This is the first time they have come consecutively twice, it would be very strange if they will come everyday in school." She said, trying to analyze the situation.
My forehead creased in curiosity, "Why would it be very strange?"
"By the way, where's Gabriella?" Anne asked, ignoring my question.
"Well, probably she ran to meet the 3K's outside just like the others." I concluded and looked at the empty room.
She nodded, "Right."
I faced Anne again, "So... care to answer my question?" I asked with hopeful eyes.
I am really curious about those 3K's, and somehow I don't understand myself.
"Hey girls! You won't believe this!" Again, my question wasn't answered when Gabriella interrupted.
"What?" I asked her.
"It was really the 3K's!" She excitedly exclaimed and soon enough the classroom was filled with the students who had smiles on their faces with glistening eyes.
I sighed, it would be a disaster day again. I knew to myself that I couldn't concentrate in the class with his presence. That Daxton Astrid.
"Everyone, stand up!" The class president shouted when he saw the 3K's coming near the door.
Do we really have to do this every time that 3K's come? I lazily stood up, out of my will or the students might bully me if I did not give respect to their kings.
I sighed once again, I should begin accepting that my days will never return back to normal. We bowed our heads when the 3K's came in, and I dared not to look at Daxton again or I might turn weak, however, I looked up and accidentally saw Butch Fender who waved his hand at me as he smiled widely while they were walking in front. I immediately lowered my gaze on my foot, avoiding any eye contact with him and to be free from judgment made by our classmates. The least thing I want right now is to be bullied because of that group.
But why all of a sudden, I felt a strong aura... as if filled with... anger?
