Chapter 60: Chapter 60
"Perhaps both!" Linda blinked mischievously and smiled. "The CEO has been in office for three years, but this is his first time coming to City A. So no one knows what he looks like. Let's pray that he is a handsome man, Amen!" With that, Linda made a prayer gesture, her beautiful face full of anticipation.
"Oh, My!" Flora spat at her in frustration. "Even if he's handsome, can you just devour him?"
"We don't need to devour him, just looking at him is satisfying enough," Linda said dreamily, as if the upcoming CEO was a handsome guy.
Flora spent every day learning from Linda, feeling so tired that she could barely stand straight. Finally, she made it through the day and could go home.
The bus was crowded during the rush hour, and Chloe, Linda, and Flora, who all lived in the same village, had a hard time squeezing onto the bus. Their stunning appearances immediately attracted the attention of the men. Even the driver loved coming to this stop because Moonlight Hotel, the upscale hotel they worked at, required its staff to be good-looking. Naturally, many beautiful women got on at this stop.
Linda was cornered and whispered in distress, "Chloe, you should have asked Mark Johnson for a car long ago. Let us small fries benefit from it too."
"Alright, I'll ask him to send one on my birthday next week," Chloe said casually as if it was as simple as giving a small gift.
Flora chuckled and said, "Aren't you afraid of Miss Alma chopping you off?"
"She wouldn't dare, because if I wanted to, her husband would be mine," Chloe boasted arrogantly. She suddenly realized how fun it was to have the evil couple constantly living under her shadow. With that thought, she realized her tears were not shed in vain!
When Maxwell drove into the Smith Family mansion, his gaze was drawn to a window on the second floor, which was lit up. Without any reason, his heart skipped a beat. He handed the car over to the servant and quickly strode towards the second floor.
Inside that window used to be Flora's room. He felt a sense of urgency, hoping that his men had captured Flora and returned her to that large bedroom. He wished for that, unsure if it was because he missed her a little or if losing the pleasure of revenge truly made him so upset.
Flora White! This damn woman could easily stir up his emotions. It shouldn't be like this at all!
Maxwell rudely pushed open the bedroom door and walked in with long strides. To his surprise, he saw Chiyoko in the center of the room, where she was supposed to be on the third floor!
A flicker of astonishment and disappointment flashed across Maxwell's face, followed swiftly by a layer of indifference. He glared at her and coldly asked, "What are you doing here?"
"Maxwell, you're back," Chiyoko walked up to him, looking somewhat timid.
At this moment, Chiyoko, although the injury on her forehead remained, had a charming and rosy complexion, with shimmering eyes. She was wearing a semi-transparent silk nightgown, her perfectly shaped body barely visible under the thin fabric, creating a captivating and deadly seductive image!
But looking at such a beautiful sight, Maxwell felt an endless disgust. This was her trick, a never-changing bad behavior, using her beautiful face and enticing figure to seduce men!
Maxwell sneered, raising his right hand and gently caressing her fragrant shoulder. He trailed his fingers along the delicate shoulder strap and gave it a forceful tug, causing the seductive nightgown to instantly slide off her body. After throwing it aside, it floated down onto the wool carpet.
Chiyoko took a shallow breath, standing before him completely exposed. A hint of shyness appeared on her face, and her hands hung somewhat awkwardly by her sides. After the shyness faded, a faint joy emerged. His gaze finally returned to her!
With a cold and menacing gaze, Maxwell examined the perfectly flawless body before him. His fiancée... she was indeed beautiful! However, he felt no physiological response in the face of such perfection. Was it his pitifulness or hers?
"You... you're so beautiful," a chilling voice escaped his lips, sending shivers down her spine.
Yes, compared to Flora, the woman standing before him was hundreds of times more beautiful!
Chiyoko listened to his words, feeling a mixture of joy and fear. He acknowledged her beauty, but he constantly faced her with this cold expression, without any intention of taking action. Could it be that he had truly lost interest in her?
She couldn't believe it, couldn't believe that he would treat her so cruelly. Someday, she would reignite his love for her, make him fall in love with her again!
"Maxwell... It's yours, forever yours." Chiyoko pointed to her own body, speaking softly. Then, she stepped forward, rising on her tiptoes to wrap her slender arms around his neck, pressing her soft lips against his, gently kissing him.
Maxwell's heart skipped a beat as he remembered that time when she seduced Oliver with the same actions, and the same techniques. Her body didn't just belong to him; she knew how many other men had possessed her, only she knew!
With this in mind, Maxwell grabbed her arm and forcefully pulled her away from himself. He glared at her, his lips curling into a cold smile.
"Miss Chiyoko, your body is beautiful, but it's just too dirty." He then pushed her forcefully to the side.
Chiyoko let out a cry as her naked body landed heavily on the bed. She quickly turned around and rushed towards Maxwell, desperately pleading, "Maxwell, don't do this. I know I was wrong, I admit my mistake!"
Maxwell turned around to face her, his gaze cold and hard, "Is that so? If you know you were wrong, then go back to the third floor this instant!"
"No! Please!"
At the mention of the third floor, Chiyoko was on the verge of collapse. The third floor was the most frightening place in her life! She would rather die than go back there! She changed her grip on Maxwell's hand to embrace his waist tightly, clinging to him. Choking on her words, she sobbed, "Maxwell, I know you love me, so why are you being so cruel to me? Why..."
If he didn't love her, if he didn't care about her, why would he be so enraged? She had always believed that Maxwell still loved her; it was just his strong ego that prevented him from forgiving her so easily.
"Love?" Maxwell grabbed her jaw, lifting it high and gazing at her with a cold smile. "What right do you have to mention the word 'love' in front of me? Miss Chiyoko, you're overthinking. I have only one feeling towards you, and that is disgust, repulsion! Understand? So please, don't arrogantly assume you understand my innermost thoughts and believe I have love for you!"
After cruelly uttering these words, Maxwell once again forcefully pulled her body away from himself. He had no lingering attachment to this perfect body, and he opened the door and walked towards the exit!
Chiyoko, on the verge of collapse, sobbed as she lay on the wool carpet, clenching her fists in agony, pounding them on the carpet. Maxwell! How could he be so cruel to her? Even if she made mistakes, she shouldn't have to endure such heavy punishment!
