Chapter 202: Chapter 202

In the evening, Maxwell came to Kevin's house to pick up Flora, but realizing that Kevin was leaving for Germany, Maxwell decided to stay here for the night and bring Flora home the next day.

That night, she slept exceptionally peacefully, the best night's sleep she had had in days, and even had a blush-inducing erotic dream. In the dream, Maxwell held her, kissed her, and gently guided her in intimate activities.

Then, Flora woke up in shyness. She was awake, so why did it still feel like a dream? Why were the warm hands that roamed over her body in the dream still there?

Flora abruptly opened her eyes, only to find Maxwell's head gently resting on her belly, the hand tenderly caressing her chest. Her sleepwear, at some point, had been lifted high by him.

"Hey! What are you doing?!" Flora pushed his head aside, shouting in embarrassment. She hastily pulled down the clothing that he had raised, her face burning hot.

Maxwell crawled over from the side, embraced her, and planted a kiss on her lips, innocently saying, "It's been a long time since I communicated with our baby. I missed him, and I'm sure he missed me too, right?"

"The baby won't miss you." Flora pushed his hand away from her, but the next moment, he held her even tighter. Following that, a deep and lingering kiss blossomed between them.

"Um." Flora softly moaned, swaying her face, instinctively trying to evade his kiss. She hadn't decided whether to forgive him yet—disgusting! How could he just kiss her like that?

Maxwell used his hand to steady her head, not letting her escape. He deeply savored the sweetness that belonged to her. It had been a long time since he had properly embraced and kissed her, reminiscing about the taste for days, and it finally returned to his lips.

Her body, which had been tense all along, tightened even more at this moment. Sadly, he could only endure it. Only embrace, only kiss, but no further actions. It was playing with fire, but he was unwilling to let her go.

While the two were kissing fervently, a growling sound emanated from someone's stomach. Maxwell paused, and Flora, who had a bit of space now, burst into laughter.

"Why are you laughing?" Maxwell pretended to be displeased, but then he lowered his head again to capture her lips, preparing for another round of plunder and possession, as if he could never have enough.

Flora struggled to turn her head away, avoiding his lips, and stared at him, saying, "Alright, stop fooling around. Get up and have some food."

He had been hungry for several days. The doctor gave him glucose last night, but didn't feed him anything. He must be starving now, right? Flora's heart was filled with genuine concern.

"But I just want to make love with you," Maxwell heard the care in her words and felt a warm flow in his heart. His efforts were finally paying off, even though the little lady beneath him was still stubborn, he could sense that her heart had already begun to forgive him.

Otherwise, why would she be lying with him on the same bed? Why would she care if his stomach was protesting loudly?

"If you don't behave, I'll kick you out!" Flora pretended to be angry, glaring at him. She didn't even consider whether she could kick him out. Right now, she just wanted him to get up and have some food.

"Okay, one more time, and after that, we'll have some food." Maxwell finished speaking and covered her lips with his. He passionately absorbed her, and Flora helplessly rolled her eyes. But soon, he carried her into the realm of desire once again.

Her hands involuntarily wrapped around his neck, and she closed her eyes, responding to his passionate kiss, jointly reenacting this long-unperformed intimate act. Once again, she forgave him. Her heart, which had hardened so difficultly, melted bit by bit in his kisses. She had to admit that he knew how to make her surrender!

After a long time, Maxwell finally let her go, satisfied and gazed at her blushing face with a content smile. Just as he was about to tease her, Flora pulled the blanket up over her head and urged, "Hurry up and put on your clothes, have some shame!"

Maxwell grabbed a corner of the blanket and pulled it down from her head, looking at her teasingly, "It's not like I haven't seen it before. You're going to be a mother, and you're still pretending to be innocent here?"

"Maxwell! Do you have no shame?!" Flora glared at him, trying to conceal her embarrassment with a low growl.

Maxwell laughed heartily, then innocently looked at her, "Honey, I don't have any clothes to wear."

Flora was momentarily stunned. Right, she had thrown his clothes into the bathroom last night and hadn't washed them. Did he have to go back naked? After a moment's thought, she sat up in bed and said, "You go take a shower first. I'll find you some clothes."

"Where are you going to find them?" Maxwell asked, eyeing her. He held her hand tightly, as if afraid that if he let go, she would disappear again right before his eyes.

"I'll go ask Kevin." Flora pushed his hand, but no matter how hard she tried, she couldn't push him away. He and Kevin had the same height and body type, so they could share clothes.

"Kevin? You call him Kevin? Calling him so intimately? Why don't you call me Maxwell?" Maxwell expressed his dissatisfaction vividly, yes, he was very dissatisfied!

Flora couldn't help but feel a sense of warmth, and she chuckled, "I'm good friends with him, why can't I call him intimately? After all, he generously hosted you for a night. Can't I be a bit more casual?"

"No, you can't call him that in the future!" Maxwell ordered imperiously, clearly displeased. Yes, he was quite unhappy!

Observing his unreasonable demeanor, Flora's heart felt a warm glow. She smiled and said, "Don't make a fuss."

Without waiting for his response, she wriggled out of his embrace and walked toward the door.

When Flora returned to the bedroom, Maxwell had just walked out of the desire chamber, only wrapped in a towel. In the morning light, he appeared exceptionally dazzling, and Flora was almost captivated by him again.

Fortunately, her self-control was strong enough. She quickly handed him the clothes, saying, "Put on the clothes. Kevin said it's borrowed for you to wear this time. Remember to return them next time." When saying this, she emphasized the word 'Kevin.'

Maxwell, true to his unyielding nature, threatened her through gritted teeth, "Say 'Kevin' one more time and see what happens! I'll take care of you!"

At that moment, a knock on the door interrupted them. A maid entered and respectfully said, "Mr. Maxwell, Miss Flora, good morning. Breakfast is ready. Young Master asks you to come down and join him."

"Alright, we'll be right there," Flora said with a smile to the maid.

After the maid left, Flora pulled Maxwell towards the door, saying, "Hurry up, you must be starving. I'm famished too." These days, she hadn't had a proper meal, and suddenly she felt very hungry. She wanted to eat everything!

Maxwell, pulled along by her, descended to the dining room. At the dining table, Kevin was sitting alone, having breakfast and reading the newspaper. When he saw the two coming down, he glanced at Maxwell.

For twenty-five years, the two brothers sat at the same dining table for the first time, and it seemed like a tense situation. Flora carefully mediated between them, fearing that things might ignite at any moment.

When Maxwell asked the maid for a fourth sandwich and a second glass of milk, the maids were astonished, their eyes widening, but they obediently served him without saying a word.

Kevin, however, looked Maxwell up and down as he wolfed down his food. He coolly remarked, "Flora, where did you find this starving ghost? Hasn't eaten in days? While my house isn't short of food, seeing this little bit being devoured so eagerly still hurts my heart."

"Um... I think it's been two or three days," Flora continued to chuckle nervously, glancing cautiously at Maxwell. She hoped he wouldn't take offense again. Kevin was really something; why did he have to provoke him for no reason?

Maxwell paid no attention, continuing to enjoy his breakfast. After taking a sip of milk and wiping his mouth with a napkin, he finally felt satisfied. He was genuinely close to starving, realizing that his stomach was a bottomless pit capable of holding so much.

Even though the atmosphere here wasn't great, with an annoying man around, it did have a pair of gentle eyes watching him, increasing his appetite. He wished to make up for the meals he missed in the past few days.

Seeing that Flora seemed to have had enough, Maxwell stood up from his chair, wrapped his arm around her waist, and smiled down at her. "Darling, can we leave now?"

"Um..." Flora was surprised. "Did I promise to go back with you?" It seemed not.

Lowering his head, Maxwell kissed her ear and said softly, "If you don't agree, I might have to eat ten sandwiches next time. Do you want to see me being stuffed to death?"

"But I..." Flora wanted to say something, but her words were silenced by his kiss.

He whispered in her ear, "Stop arguing. Let's go back before someone starts calculating our utility bills and bed fees."

Kevin, witnessing the intimate scene before him, began to regret letting him in yesterday. He should have made him wait outside until he had a heart attack!

"Haha..." Flora giggled as she let Maxwell lead her towards the door. Just as they stepped out of the dining room, she turned around, looked at Kevin, whose expression was constantly changing, and waved, "Mr. Kevin, have a safe journey. Let's stay in touch!"

"After this, no more contact." Maxwell hesitated for a moment, then turned to look at Kevin. He said, "If you have even a tiny bit of conscience left, please go home for a visit, even just to take a look."

The evil expression on Kevin's face disappeared, replaced by indifference. He lowered his gaze and didn't respond. On the contrary, Mrs. Davis, who had just walked in from outside, coldly said, "Where do you want him to go? This is his home!"

Everyone was taken aback. Maxwell turned to Mrs. Davis, smiled, and greeted, "Hello, Mrs. Davis. Thank you for your hospitality to Flora these days. As for Mr. Kevin, I think he has a brain, so let him decide whether to go back or not. We have to leave now as I have work today."

After saying this, he continued to walk towards the door with Flora. His car was parked in the garden, and after both got in, the car slowly started, leaving the Davis mansion.

Mrs. Davis watched Maxwell's car leave and then turned to Kevin with concern. She asked, "Kevin, have you decided to go back?" Her tone was full of worry and reluctance.

Kevin raised his eyes, smiled to reassure her, and said, "Mom, don't worry. I'm not going back. We'll stick to the original plan and return to Germany tomorrow."

"Okay." Mrs. Davis smiled, and the heavy stone in her heart finally fell. As long as Kevin didn't abandon her and the Davis family, as long as he still listened to her, it was good!

The car sped along the winding mountain road. Flora gazed at Maxwell's profile, worry evident in her eyes as she asked, "Miss Chiyoko won't let you off easily. What's your plan moving forward?"

"Don't worry, I'll handle this as soon as possible," Maxwell reassured her with a glance. Yes, he needed to swiftly gather evidence of Chiyoko and Philip's affair.

The car slowly came to a stop in front of the main house of the Smith Family estate. Flora looked at the familiar mansion, and sighed quietly in her heart. She had come and gone several times, but this time felt different. With Maxwell by her side, she willingly returned because, with him, life felt perfect.

Maxwell led her into the house, and in the living room on the ground floor, Mrs. Smith was sitting on the sofa watching TV. Surprised to see the two of them, she stood up, looking at them.

"Mrs. Smith..." Flora hesitantly called out, using a gentle tone to greet Mrs. Smith. She knew Mrs. Smith didn't like her, so she tried to be polite to avoid upsetting her. She was still somewhat nervous because Mrs. Smith was an elder.

"Hmm." Uncharacteristically, Mrs. Smith's voice wasn't as icy as usual. Instead, a hint of discomfort flickered in her eyes.

"Auntie, we're back," Maxwell smiled and greeted.

Mrs. Smith looked at him and realized he was entirely different from yesterday. The Maxwell from yesterday seemed like he had just run out of a beggar's village, but after just one night, he appeared as his old self, full of vigor.

Feeling a bit emotional, Mrs. Smith couldn't help but wonder – did Flora have such a strong charm? She managed to torment him to this extent!

"Well, it's good that you're back. Rest well upstairs, and don't go to work today," Mrs. Smith said with concern. She had intended to say something to Flora, but in the end, she remained silent.

Maxwell nodded and led Flora upstairs. Back in the bedroom, Flora looked at him helplessly and asked, "Mrs. Smith doesn't like me. What should I do?" She wasn't afraid of being mistreated but worried about putting Maxwell in a difficult position.

Maxwell patted her shoulder, reassuringly saying, "Don't worry. Auntie is not the kind of sharp-tongued, unreasonable person. She will accept you sooner or later."

"Okay, I understand." Flora nodded. She knew what kind of person Mrs. Smith was. Mrs. Smith was always kind and amiable, praising her and expressing anticipation for the day she would marry into the Smith family every time they met. Mrs. Smith's happiest moments were when Flora accompanied her. Therefore, she was quite familiar with Mrs. Smith.

Maxwell embraced her from behind, kissed her hair, and smiled, "Once our baby is born, Auntie will surely cherish you, just like everyone in the Smith family."

"She still doesn't believe the child is yours to this day," Flora sighed helplessly, leaning into his embrace, enjoying the wonderful feeling of being surrounded by his presence.

Maxwell lifted her face, gazing at her tenderly. "She is indeed quite stubborn on this point. Don't blame her, alright?"

Flora shook her head, placing her hand on his large palm. "I won't blame her. This whole mess started because of me. If I hadn't been so stubborn and lied about the child being Kevin's just to anger you, none of this would have happened."

"Well, do you realize your mistake now?" Maxwell chuckled, gently planting a kiss on her forehead.

"If you hadn't constantly teased me back then, why would I want to anger you!" Flora pouted, complaining as her small hand mischievously traced lines across his chest.

"Yes, it's all my fault. I was a jerk. I won't dare to do it again." Maxwell grabbed her mischievous hand, kissed it gently, and smirked, "Are you trying to seduce me? Be careful, or I might end up burning in desire and take you down with me."

"Ugh, annoying!" Flora blushed, pounded his chest, then broke free from his embrace, running away like a little bird.

Maxwell chased after her, caught up, and carefully embraced her again, rolling together onto the big bed.

In the bedroom, laughter filled the air. At that moment, they forgot to think about how to face the days ahead or what retaliation the Yota Gang might unleash upon them.

At this moment, they were both happy! They forgot about everything, savoring the hard-earned happiness that belonged to them. They were unwilling to let anything disturb this precious moment of bliss!
