Just when we're starting to bond comes this crazy idea of returning her? No way!!!
"But what if she wants to go? What if she really wants to leave after everything we've shared" I can't believe am thinking this kinda thought right now
Throwing a glance at Katerina,I can see she's very dissatisfied with the events and she's throwing a murderous look at xina
"I hope I've made myself clear?"
My father's steady voice broke me from my thoughts
No you've not father,she's not going anywhere"
I say to him in all finality my voice starting to get edge
Have you asked the human girl if she doesn't want to go back??" My father answered me throwing a glance at Kate's direction
At that moment, everyone and everything is tensed and quiet, waiting for her reply
I don't want to leave your highness, no scratch that,I'm not leaving,I'm perfectly comfortable here"
Kate's voice was high,steady and final as she said those words
Just with those words I could feel myself toosie sliding in happiness, she didn't want to leave,my Kate wants to stay with me
Too bad,you don't have a choice to say anything here" Xina's voice shot in anger referring her statement to Kate
Of course not bitch, I clearly know that, but I was asked a question so I made my stance known"
Kate spat back at her angrily
I could feel the venom in Kate's voice and if xina thinks am gonna hold Kate if a fight ensues between them she's wrong
What makes you believe she's being a hindrance to the marriage"
Oliver who I had totally forgotten was still in the room threw this questions at my father
But just before he could answer, xina becomes all hysterical
She staked me father"
She began wailing trying to gain attention and sympathy from father
Of course,I staked you bitch, if you're going to be a future queen you should be able to defend yourself and not something as an ordinary human hold you off, hmph some vampire you are"
Kate answered her with an eye roll
Even with all the drama going on, I saw my father raise his chin in admiration at Kate
Xina,are you telling me this human girl staked you?" My father asked again with so much wonder in his voice
Of course our prima Donna remained quiet from embarrassment,but she's not the topic,what's the final word because there's no way I'm letting Kate go away

Oliver's voice broke the round of argument that would have ensued
His saying that got everybody's attention including xina's

My father questioned ready to pounce on his answers
When I went looking for Kate,I met some wolves without knowing Damian had already saved her but surprisingly the wolves let me go saying it was because of Kate they did so"
He answered my father throwing a grateful glance at Kate

Oliver continued still staring at Kate
That has to be Daniel,he was nice from the start"
Kate said not addressing anybody in particular

My father questioned again this time getting more impatient

Oliver began again but turning to look at father

Oliver concluded giving a gentle glance around everyone in the room
I don't know if it's my imagination,but I know I made out xina a little bit uneasy with the words that Oliver had just said

My father was about to say but Katerina interrupted
My name is Kate your highness,human girl seems rude wouldn't you agree?"
She asked him folding her arms around her chest and giving one of those glares I've gotten used to
Of course Kate,as I was saying you can stay until we've found out who is the leak in the clan"
He concluded while getting up to his feet and starting to leave
What about the marriage?"
Katerina asked him getting up herself to stare at his back
Slowly but precinct,father turned to look at her before speaking
I admire your courage Kate,I mean you even staked our so called future queen,so for your sake,the wedding is held off till everything has been settled"
And with that out of his system,he left the room leaving all four of us
Now that the first phase is over,I need your help Damian" Oliver began looking at me
He's been helpful seems like it's time for an unlikely alliance

I reply him while bowing slightly and motioning for Kate
Sure,let's hit the road" She replied with an eye roll

Xina questioned just as we were about to walk out
Definitely not,we need you alive for your wedding" Kate replied her smiling evily at her
And with that we all walked out of the dinning with the exemption of xina
I don't know what Oliver plans to do but we're in on it with him,I just pity the leak when the persons been discovered
A little voice keeps telling me it's xina,but for her sake I hope she's not guilty because father doesn't condone backstabbers irrespective of position or person....
....Xina's POV...
I don't need a witch or a fortune teller to tell me that Daniel had been the one to drop the clue about the revolt
I'll take care of that son of a bitch before he ruins me" I yell out in exasperation
I'll make my way to Marwan camp for wolves and have Daniel shut his beak up
But why are you worried miss,they'll probably sort other ways out surely not by going to the wolves lair"
Kenny says to me
Of course I hadn't thought of that,wolves and vampires don't mix so they'll never got there, they'll probably go to the witches
Sure right Kenny,get my horse ready we've got to execute some witches before they spill things that are to be kept hidden"
I order Kenny while getting up to dress and leave
If that human girl thinks she'll make me an enemy in my own territory she's wrong,I'll take of
this mess first before I take care of her myself....

......Kate's POV......
We've been walking for hours and I'm tired,pissed off and very angry, mostly I just ran out of patience
If you're gonna make us walk to the end of the earth Oliver,you'd have just let me bring some food and drinks for myself"
I say to him with an eye roll
Sorry babe, but we've got to keep walking if we're to achieve our aim"
He replied still walking as if he hadn't heard me talk about food
First of all, don't call her babe, secondly what the heck is our aim?" Damian asked directing the question to Oliver
It's wonderful to see I'm not the only one getting tired on this Alice in wonderland adventure
Yeah Oliver what is our aim?"
I turn to his side throwing a questioning gaze at him
After several minutes of decisive thinking which am wondering what the heck he had to think about before speaking
Well you see,it's a little bit risky but we've got greater chances with Kate and you know she flows well with people and"
Oliver kept gawking nonsense but not for long
I don't know what you're implying but spit it out already,what's with the suspense??" Damian yelled at him causing me to flinch a little
I know Oliver's dallying but he didn't need to be harsh with him, after all he's the only one who seems to have a plan for all this hullabaloo
Oliver just say it, whatever it is we can bear with it" I reassuringly say to him patting his shoulder a little
Taking a deep breath and blurting out
You'll need to go to the wolves lair"
He suddenly blurted out still staring at both me and Damian
It took both me and damian some time to process the shit he had just uttered but Damian was first to break the silence
You want Kate to walk into her own death"
He questioned Oliver with such calm aura that I know was definitely not pure
It's not her death Damian"
Oliver started but still Damian interrupted again
Oh it's not? Well then tell me what it is,she barely escaped death a few days ago and you're sending her back?"
Damian yelled this time lashing out his fury at Oliver
She's the only one who can get into that camp unnoticed,they'd sniff us out in a blink and we'd be dead"
Oliver replied Damian getting ready to get into heated arguments if need be

I say to both of them
They're both quiet and at a standstill, don't get me wrong I'm scared but still I'm fearless and have a better chance of surviving with the wolves plus I've made a friend or more like a fan

Damian say to me getting close to me and holding my wrist tightly
I get that he's scared but the answers won't find us here if we keep walking out here in the woods,in as much as it's a crazy idea it's all we've got and am holding onto it
Damian's,I can do this, I already have a fan there and besides I'll be fine,you know I can defend myself anytime"
I assure him so that he'd let me go
She's right Damian,she's got better chances there than we do" Oliver says to damian trying to work his mind so he'll agree
"Don't preach to me Oliver,you brought this crazy idea up" Damian snarled at him walking angrily towards him
Getting in between them just in time to separate a brew quarrel
Damian you've got to believe in me,I'll be back safe to you, I promise"
I whisper to him getting close to him and pulling him in for a hug
Fine,what's the plan?"
Damian asks directing the question to Oliver
She gets in,asks for Daniel and ask for his help"
Oliver answered with assurance that I had to wonder if he hadn't gone mad
And what if he doesn't want to see me?, It's not like he's into me or anything" I glare at Oliver but he's reaction says otherwise
Corking his head to a surprising manner and smirking at me
You've got chances Kate,I don't know what you did to him but you made quite a big impression on him"
Oliver answered me with that assuring glint in his eyes
At that statement damian seemed to have grown jealous but Instantly killed the uprising thought
Let's do this, you'll go Kate but if I don't see you by nightfall I'll come for you"
Damian says to me with so much indignation that I know it'll be useless to argue
" Ok team, we're on it,I'll get in find Daniel and ask my questions,then I'll get back but pls if I don't come back in time and you're coming after me be careful,ok?"
I ask the both of them of which they nodded their heads
Oh and pls don't make a killing scene when you're coming"
I say again but this time facing damian to let him know I'm referring to him
Yes princess"
He answered in that boring tone that gave me the impression that he'll do whatever he likes
Taking the path that's supposed to lead to the wolves community,I start to go but stop as Damian reaches for me and kisses me
Be safe princess, for our sake"
He whispers to me while placing a kiss to my forehead
And with that I start moving towards the wolves lair, not knowing if I'll die but knowing that this time I'm walking willingly to whatever danger that's waiting for me....
