"That's is not the truth. I really do love you. You are blindly in love with Raja that is why you can't accept my truth", he said.

"No I'm not in love with Raja", I said to him. I'm not anymore to say the truth. I have buried my feelings for him deep down inside me. It will never rise up again. I'm also not going to see him again so I was going to be OK.

"Then tell me you will marry me", said Rocky walking precariously over the edge.

"Come down Rocky", I said to him.

"Only if you say yes", he said making a show of sticking his leg out to the air.

"Please you are scaring me", I said seriously worried.

"Not until you say yes", she said.

"Fine come down please", I begged him.

"I still haven't heard a yes", he said.

"Yes", I said out of breath. I could feel the wind blowing. It was night and chilly. I just want to go home. I hope Rocky comes down soon.

"Good now say you love me", he said with a smirk.

"You are pushing it", I said angrily.

"Fine I'm coming down don't get your panties in a twist", he said turning towards me.

The wind blowed again making a loyd noise. Everything was happening in slow motion. I felt as though I was in a movie. I saw Rocky stumble and getting his balance. Then once again he stumbled this time falling down. A scream echoed on the wind. I realised it was mine.

I was sobbing I couldn't believe my eyes Rocky was dead. He was the only guy who had cards for me. Yes he had made some mistakes but still. I had lost him. What was I going to tell his father?

My hands shook while dialling his number. There was a single ring and he picked up.

"Rocky fell", I said crying. I could hear him scrambling around.

"What? Where are you?", he asked with concern. I gave him the address. I was still in shock. I saw police coming but I couldn't move. It was as though I was stuck there.

"Are you OK?", asked a police woman. I nodded my head tears still wet in my eyes.

They took asked a bunch of questions. I told them the truth. Well not everything I only said he wanted to take me there. He had a drink and he fell by trying to show off.

I can't really tell the actual truth. I wanted to spare Ravi the embarrassment that his son had proposed to me. I didn't see him. I. Knew he must be at Rocky's funeral. I should be there too. I wasn't allowed to go till they made sure that he had indeed died an accidental death. I was numb by the time I reached home. I saw crowd there. People from the college are going in and out.

I saw Ravi sitting on the floor. There was a photo of Rocky. My shock suddenly wears off. I sat on the floor completely broken and cried hard. I saw everyone looking at me. But I couldn't stop myself. I miss him. He was my only friend.

I felt a hand over my shoulder. I looked to see Leila her face was swollen from crying so hard. I felt her tears. I wiped my face. She was looking at me with daggers. I knew she was very angry at me.

"Leila", I said to her.

"Don't. You are the reason he is dead", she said.

"Please Leila", I begged her. These accusations had been killing me.

"Shut up bitch ", she said. I heard a loud Crack. My eyes got unfocused. I felt my blood trickling down from mouth. I watched in disbelief what was happening. This is Ricky's funeral for heaven's sake. What was she doing? I saw Rita trying to pull away Leila. Her hand was poised to slap me again.

I saw another hand coming to rescue me and to my surprise it was Ravi. I looked at him. He seemed unmoved by the drama. He dragged me away. When we got inside the room he closed the door.

"What was she saying?", asked Ravi.

"I don't know", I told him.

"Tell me the truth", he said eyes blazing.

"He wanted to marry me. He tried to convince me by taking me there. He didn't do it purposefully but I think he slipped. He thought I would say yes if he tried to endanger his life", I told him.

"All of this happened yet you say nothing?", he asked me.

"I didn't know what to say?", I thought he wasn't serious ", I told him.

" He is always serious. He never joke around ", he said.

" I'm sorry for what happened ", I told him.

" Shut up Leila is right ", he said.

I watched him with wide eyes. What the fuck was he saying? Leila is crazy. But how could he say the same?

"I didn't do anything", I told him.

"You hid the truth from me. You took my only son away from me", he said.

I was crying so hard. Why is everything bad is happening to me? Is Rocky's death somehow my fault?

"You won't go out until the day we get married. You will get every punishment in the world for hurting my son", he said.

"Marriage? Why?", I whispered.

"You thought you could escape from marriage once Rocky is dead? You are wrong. You had made me lose my son and you will give me back another son", he said.

"No", I said in disbelief. I couldn't believe that he wants to have sex with me. He wants a child from me. I will never be able to bear the pain of sleeping with someone who I don't love.

"You will give me a child. No matter how much i hate you. I will get you with child. We will get married soon after the mourning period is over", he said.
