Chapter 83: Chapter 83

Hello Brother
Dante.
"Who did you offend?" Viktor asked.
"I might have facilitated the killing of Javier RedWood," I replied and Viktor and Landon looked so surprised.
I glanced at Natasha who was also standing in a defensive position.
They noticed it and they seemed surprised that she might have been the one who killed Javier, but everyone quickly went back to being at at alert.
All of a sudden, the door at the other end of the hall burst open and I watched as several Vampires stepped in.
"Ummm. Are you sure that Javier really died??" Landon asked and I saw Javier walk in with all of the Vampires.
Shit! This isn't happening. This isn't fucking happening. Fuck!
He was dressed in a long black leather coat and his super black and long hair fell over his shoulder. His eyes had a sparking green color and his lips were voluptuous red..
"That isn't Javier. That's Luther Redwood," Viktor said the exact thing that was on my mind.
That was the twin brother of Javier, the cold one supposedly never mingles with other Vampires and if I were to guess right, he was here to get revenge for Javier.
He slowly walked forward gracefully and confidently. I can already see the difference between him and Javier.
"What do you want??" I asked him and he walked forward a bit.
"I believe that you already know the preposterous offense you have committed against me and the only luxury I'm gonna be giving you today is choosing if you die first, or watch your friends die first," Luther said in a smooth British accent.
According to what I heard, he and Javier grew up separately. He stayed with his Grandparents in London who also leaded a Vampire clan.
I looked at all the other Vampires in the room. They were so many and there was no way the four of us could beat them.
Plus, there were so many humans in the hall and they would get caught in the fight, unable to protect themselves and run became of the compulsion.
"I don't know what you're talking about," I said, trying to stall as I thought about anything we can do.
"Quit the pointless feigning of ignorance, afterall, you couldn't have completely washed off the stains of Javier's blood on your hands," Luther retorted, "the impulsive fool got what was coming for him, but no one has the right to lay a finger on the RedWoods," he added.
Wow. He was really much ruthless than Javier.
"And coming here today means the same thing is going to happen to you," I said confidently even though I knew there was little to no possiblity of that happening with the stakes here.
"You are crazy, aren't you?" he asked and I saw the corners of his lips raised slightly into an almost unnoticeable smirk which was the most emotion I have seen him display since he got here.
"You'll get to see it fully tonight. I'm just gonna need enough space," I said and looked at everyone around.
He smiled lightly this time and looked around.
"You can all go. The Gala was postponed and you'll forget everything that happened here today," Luther said and all the Vampires with him repeated after him so it would work on each person they compelled.
All of them immediately walked out orderly and the door was closed.
"So let's see that craziness of yours," Luther said and his eyes dark became an even darker green color, dark lines forming around his eyes.
He took off his coat, letting it fall to the ground and he was wearing only a black pant and grey shirt that showed the outlines of his muscles.
He had a nice build.
Two large wings immediately sprouted out of his back, flapping gently in the air.
And scary wings.
"So what will it be? You first or them?" He asked.
I grabbed a chair and smashed it on the ground, picking up two wooden pieces with sharp tips that would serve as stakes.
"I choose you," I replied, preparing for them to attack.
I glanced at Natasha and regretted bringing her here immediately. She shouldn't be here.
We were clearly ambushed and outnumbered and she might get caught and hurt in this.
But she could still leave before the fight begins. She should be as fast since she didn't need a full moon.
"Natasha, you need to run out now," I said through a telepathic link.
"No," she replied and I faced her, looking angry.
"This is not your fight, you need to leave now!" I yelled inside my mind.
"I was the one who killed Javier so this is literally my fight," she replied and I was getting angrier knowing that every second she remained here counted till when she wouldn't be able to leave again.
"I'm commanding you as your Alpha," I bellowed, still facing Luther to prepare for whatever move he and his men were going to make.
"I'm your mate, so technically, that won't work on me," she retorted and looked away from me, her eyes turning into a bright golden color.
Hopefully, only Luther is the powerful one here, it'll be easy if the others are lesser Vampires.
As soon as that thought went through my head, wings sprouted out of the backs of all the other Vampires in the room.
"Finish them," Luther said and he was about to dash forward when someone stepped in between us.
Viktor. What the fuck was he doing??
"No, stop!" He shouted and they all stopped moving. He sounded so different - his voice was smoother and it sounded metallic.
"You need to stop this," Viktor added and the huge contrast in how he sounded now and thr voice I was used to suprised me a lot.
"I know that voice," Luther said with a look of recognition and I glanced at Viktor.
What was Luther talking about?? Ass Viktor related to the Mystic Fangs Clan??
I glanced between Viktor and Luther waiting for someone to say something about it.
"Hello brother."
