"I swear I didn't help him escape," I said, but Dante didn't seem a bit convinced.

"Someone removed the arrows from his heart and I know that it's you!" He shouted at me angrily.

"You know what? I regret ever helping you and saving you from your miserable existence!" Dante bellowed and tears dropped down my left eye.

"I should have just left you to get burned alive!" He suddenly let go of me.

"Dante, I'm sorry," I apologized and tried to hold his hand, but he pushed my hand away.

"You are not going to leave this room!" He said and he walked to the door.

"I'm sorry, I didn't-" I tried to hold him, but he suddenly pushed me and I fell to the ground. He walked out of the room and he closed the door, locking it from behind.

"Please!" I stood up and tried to open the door, but it was locked.

I hit my palm on the door, crying. I stopped hitting the door and I rested my back on the door.

What have I done?

I should never have spoken to Bastien not to talk of even feeding him or pulling the arrows out of his heart.

This is all my fault. I helped the man who killed Dante's former mate to escape. If Dante's reaction to me so far has been because of his past experience with his mate, then he would hate me now.

I have to fix this. I have to find a way to fix my mistake. The door was locked so how do I get out of here.

I looked down as I had an idea. A stood up from the bed and I bent down pulling the bed away from the trapdoor.

I open the trapdoor and I climbed into the stairs. As I got to the foot of the stairs, I pushed the brick and the walls divided.

I walked into the dungeon and stopped as I reached where Bastien had been tied up before. I saw the chains that had been tied to his feet and wrists broken on the floor.

I had to find him and find a way to bring him back, but he could be anywhere. My gaze landed on the broken arrowheads that I had dropped to the ground.

They were stained with his blood and I immediately got an idea of how I could find him. It was one of the special things I could do.

I could track anyone down by using personal objects. Hopefully it will be much simpler this time since I'm using his blood.

I bent down and picked up one of the arrowheads. I continued walking through the dungeon, looking around so I could spot the entrance.

I finally saw the door of the dungeon and just as I expected it was still open. I need quickly ran to the door and I stopped as I saw three men lying on the floor with slit throats and claw marks on their arms.

I should have never gone near a psychopath like Bastien.

I looked around and saw that no one was here. I gently walked over the bodies of the men on the floor clutched my hand around the arrowhead tightly.

I could sense Bastien. He was still within the pack and he had not gone far.

I really began to work in the direction of where will sense him, looking here and there to make sure that nobody would see me and stop me.

Because of what happened I guessed that most of them would be out looking for Bastien right now.

I looked up as I got to a door that I have not seen before. I walked towards the door and grabbed the door knob, slowly opening it.

It was an exit door and it led outside the building.

I walked out through the door and closed it. There was a road and there were several houses at both sides. I could still sense Bastien and I continued walking.

He was somewhere here in the pack and he was close by.

I continued walking through the road, holding on to the blood stained arrowhead.

I stopped as I got to a junction that led into two streets. I looked left and right and felt the pull to go left.

Just as I walked into the left street, I heard someone shout my name from behind.

"Natasha!" It was Dante. My heart's began to beat rapidly and I slowly turned around.

Dante was coming from the other street, with Nathan, Killian, the gamma and two other men.

Dante looked so angry and it was as if his eyes alone could kill me where I was standing.

"What are you doing here? I thought I locked you up in the room!" He yelled, walking closer to me.

"I....... I wanted to come and find Bastien," I finally said quickly and in one breath.

"Find him?! How can you come out here on your own!! What if... What if he...." He stopped talking, looking angry.

"I can find him. I can sense him," I said, holding on even tighter to the arrowhead in my hand.

"What do you mean? What are you talking about?" Dante asked.

"I can use his blood to track him down," I said, pointing at the blood-stained arrowhead in my hand and they all looked surprised.

"He is in this street. I can sense him," I continued talking.

"You don't..."

"Dante, let's try and see if it really works," Nathan quickly interrupted Dante and he nodded.

"Fine. Track him if you can," Dante said and he breathed out deeply.

I nodded and turned around to continue walking down the street. I suddenly stopped walking as I could feel Bastien's presence even stronger than before.

"He is here," I said..

"Where?" Dante asked.

"There." I pointed at a house on the left side of the road. Bastien was hiding inside that house or around it.

Dante glanced at Nathan and Nathan shrugged before walking past me towards the house.

I followed after him and we all stopped as we got to the front of the house.

"You are right," Dante said and I faced him.

"I can smell his vampire blood," Dante said. He walked to my front and pointed at the road.

"We will take it from here, Ark we are company you back today mansion," Dante said, but I didn't want to go.

I wanted to be here so I can fix the mess that I caused by myself.

"I do-" before I could finish talking, I felt something breeze past me and the next moment, someone grabbed me from behind and held a silver dagger to my neck.

My heart began to beat rapidly and I slowly looked over my shoulder so I could check who it was.

Bastien.
