Chapter 141: Chapter 141

Help
I made a video call to the lady I was supposed to meet and waited for a while until I heard Kara's phone ring.
Ah fuck!
***
I focused on my food, trying not to look up. It felt so awkward being here on a date with her. So many ladies in the world and she had to be the one.
I sighed and dropped my fork on the plate, finally looking up.
Kara looked up to and she sighed.
"I had no idea that it was you I was coming to meet," I said and she nodded.
"Same here."
"I couldn't exactly know when your profile says Karen," I said.
"Well, that's my real name, how do you not know that. I'm not the one who used a wrong last name," Kara retorted.
"Ceres is my middle name, you also didn't know that," I stated.
"And we both didn't add our pictures," Kara said and she sighed.
"Well, let's just pretend as if we have never met each other before," Kara smiled and it made me chuckle to myself.
Cute.
I suddenly felt my phone ring and I looked at the caller ID to see if that it was Natasha.
I hesitated for a while before declining the call and dropping the phone on the table.
The phone rang again and I sighed, looking at it without picking up the phone.
"Aren't you going to pick your call?" Kara asked.
"It's Natasha. I'll talk to her later," I replied..
"Pick it, it could be important," Kara said, but the phone rang out.
Almost immediately, she called me again and I accepted the call.
"Natasha-"
"Nathan...," Natasha callled my name, sounding weak. I stood up immediately.
"Natasha, Natasha, are you okay?" I asked and Kara stared at me curiously.
"A.....ttack...Help me," She muttered with a broken voice.
"What happened, where are you?" I asked, but I didn't get any response.
I looked at the screen of the phone and saw that the call was still on.
"Hello? Natasha? Are you there?" I didn't get any response.
I ended the call and quickly took my credit card out of my pocket.
"I'm sorry, I have to go. I'll call you later," I said quickly and hurried to the check point.
"What happened to Natasha," Kara stood up and she walked up to me.
"I'm not sure, something happened to her, but I'll handle it," I said and took my card back from the cashier.
I walked out of the restaurant, but Kara still followed me.
"Wait, she could be in trouble, let's report this to the cops," Kara suggested, and I stopped walking, sighing.
"No, we can't," I replied, "I'm going to find her and I'm going to handle."
"Fine, let's go," Kara said, walking past me and I sighed.
"Wait, where are you going?" I asked and she looked over her shoulder.
"Well, I'm coming with you," She said and I went after her.
I climbed into my car and she climbed in next to me, strapping her seat belt.
Kara moved closer and showed me her phone..
"I tracked down her GPs. She's here," Kara said, pointing at the red dot on the map.
I sighed and started the car. I just hope I'm not driving her into something supernatural.
***
"She should bbe somewhere around here," Kara said, looking out the windows.
I looked up and spotted a familiar car parked by the side of the street in front of a restaurant.
That's the car Dante gave Natasha.
"That's her car," I pointed at it and I pulled up behind it.
I climbed down from the car quickly and I walked to Natasha's car. I looked in through the window and saw that Natasha was in the car, with her head rested on the steering.
"Natasha?" Kara tried to open the door on the other side, but it was locked.
I tried opening the door on this side too, but it was also locked.
"Natasha?" I tapped the window, but she didn't respond. I was getting so worried already.
Kara walked over to this side and she tapped the window too multiple times, but Natasha didn't wake up.
I sighed and attempted to smash the window with my elbow, but Kara pulled my hand back.
"She's in there! The glasses are going to injure her," Kara said.
"She's going to be okay, trust me," I said and moved Kara aside, smashing my elbow into the mirror before she could stop me.
I opened the door and I raised Natasha's head up.
"She's breathing," Kara said in relief. Of course, it's Natasha.
Her face was so pale so I wondered what could have drained her so much.
I looked at Kara and saw that she was on her phone.
"What are you doing?"
"Calling the ambulance," she replied like it was the logical thing to do.
I sighed and I snatched the phone from her, terminating the call.
"No, don't call anyone, you can take a cab back, I'll handle this," I said and Kara stared at me suspiciously.
"I'll take her to the hospital and she's going to be fine, I promise, just go," I said and Kara nodded.
"Alright, but you can leave first before anything bad happens to her," Kara said.
I carried Natasha out of the car and Kara opened the door of my car so I could carry Natasha in.
I shut the door and faced Kara, "I'll call you. Take care."
I climbed into my car and drove off.
What the hell happened to Natasha and where was Dante?
I had a bad feeling about this especially when Natasha's first word was 'Attack'.
