"Carine!" I hugged her tightly and I swear I never be this happy before.

"I miss you." She said crying and I chuckled.

"I'm so sorry." I said and she nodded.

"I'm sorry, okay? I won't leave you again." I smiled at her and she nodded. I hugged my parents too even though I still can't forgive them fully because they sold me to Patt.

They apologized to me and we spend our time together even though it's just in the hospital. We started to catch up a lot and being with Carine again.

I miss her with all my heart and I'm very thankful that Marco took care of her and even constantly visit her to give her some toys and a lot of things that she needed. I'm so grateful to have Marco. He's just the best.

"You need to rest.. I'll come here again tomorrow okay?" She kissed my cheek and I smiled

"Okay."

"Bye, Cassandra. We'll see you tomorrow" My mom said and I nodded waving my hands towards them

"Bye.." My dad kissed the side of my head and they walked out from my hospital room. The nurse walked into my hospital room and gave me my medicine and changed the IV since it's almost run out.

She asked me to rest because my bullet wounds were quite deep and I need a lot of rest so it can heal quickly. I haven't seen Marco today, he must be resting too. He texted me that he let me spend time with my family and later on he will come and visit me.

I decided to go to his room. I got off from my bed and pulled my IV holder with me. I walked out from my hospital room and walked to the room across mine.

I slowly opened the door and saw Marco was sleeping. I can't help but smile looking at his sleeping side. I walked in slowly and there's no one here. I walked and sat on the chair beside his hospital bed. I looked at him and still can't believe that I can be together with him at last. I looked at him and just.. I can't describe how happy I am and how much I love this man so much.

I don't deserve him to be honest.. I really don't.

"Hey.." I said as I saw him opening his eyes, he turned to me and smiled.

"How's your family?" He asked as he sat up and set his hospital bed to support him.

"Thank you.. for taking care of them all this time." I said and he smiled. He gestured me to give him my hand. He held my hand and kissed the back of it.

"I was scared that you'll run away again."

"I won't. Are you still mad at your dad and Matthew?"

"They knew you're still alive and they knew my process but still kept it from me." He said

"I was the one who wanted that so stop being mad at them. Kolen was still alive and I can't put you in danger again." I said and he looked down at my hands

"I'm the one who is supposed to protect you, not you protecting me." I chuckled

"I love you too much, that's why" I said and he looked up to me in disbelief.

"What?"

"I love you so much, Marco. That's why I don-" He suddenly pulled my hand making me sit in front of him. He looked at me seriously

"Repeat that again.."

"I never thought you're deaf." I hissed coldy and he chuckled

"I was j-"

"I love you, Marco. I love you so so so much." I cut him and he smiled widely. He leaned closer to me and kissed me. The kiss was slow and I just miss this so much.

"So tell me.. how did you run away from Ray?"

"I was the one who contacted him first even before you contacted him." He said and my eyes widen

"What? He didn't in-"

"He didn't. I followed you along with him to the airport. I dressed as his man and blended in. You were too busy with your thoughts to realize that I'm in one plane with you." What?!

"No way.."

"Yes way.. after getting out from the airport, I knew you were taken by Kolen right away. So I did attach a track on you and geared up to follow you. I was figuring out the base again. It was the base where you found the harddisk. I basically know the blueprint and quite remember it a little bit. I didn't come with a team.. I came alone since I bet the 7 Gold Lifes will never want to help me."

"You're crazy! You could-"

"But I didn't.. I have quite good gun skills but I'm good at making strategy more so I can get in without Kolen knowing I was outside." He smiled and I looked at him disbelief

"How can you even be friends with Ray?" I asked

"That's quite hard, I kept bothering him. I gave him quite everything that he wants. Even though you're trying to push me away.. it won't happen. I won't let it repeat again. I'm not losing you again. At first, I didn't believe that you're Patricia because you still have the scar from my injections and I know you have this.." He pulled out my index finger. My eyes widen.. The scar from the cut when I was a kid

"How can you even notice that?"

"It's a secret." He gave me a peck on my lips. I slipped my arms around his hips hugging him tightly

"Thank you.. for saving me. I would have died if you didn't come." I said and he kissed my forehead

"I'm your Black Knight remember?" I chuckled when he said that. I remembered that words in our first meeting

"You are."

"Please stay here with me tonight.. I need you here or I'll be able to sleep." He said and I nodded
