Luke Hastington
"I'll go to your apartment tomorrow." The guy behind me said. Go to her apartment? Is he her sleep buddies? Wait.. why do I care?
"See you tomorrow then." She said. What?! She agreed with it. Okay so this guy must be her bed buddies. I entered the lift at the same time as that guy, I pressed 14 and he pressed 10.
"So you're Luke Hastington." He stated and I just ignored him.
"I don't know, what does she see in you?" He stated and I scoffed.
"Don't even think about liking her dude, she's mine." He stated and at the same time the lift opened and he got out. I let out a small chuckle.
Liking her? That will never happen. That girl already has a bed buddies and she's chasing me begging for what? Love?
So pathetic!
I got out from the lift and saw Janet putting some files on the shelf. She turned to see me and she smiled.
"Hey Luke." She walked and hugged me briefly.
"Where's Sky?"
"Office.. as usual." She said and I nodded.
"Did you see Hailey on the way here?" She suddenly asked and I nodded.
"Is she still downstairs?"
"No, why?"
"She left her phone.. I helped her charge it because her hand is wrapped with bandage, I put her phone at my office and now she's forgot about it." Janet showed me her phone.
"Just give it to her tomorrow." I stated and turned my body.
"Can you give this to her?"
"Don't start Jenny.. I don't like her, stop being a matchmaker between us." I stated coldly.
"At least, I tried.”
"Beside she already have a bed buddies." I said and walked to Sky's office.
"Hey dude." I greeted him and he looked up.
"Hey.. this is the contract and the check." He said as he gave me a big brown envelope. I nodded and sat in front of his desk.
These days I got really bad headache, Hailey was one of the reasons and that annoyed me. I closed my eyes for a moment and put my hand to hold my cheek. Suddenly I remembered that she kissed my cheek before I got on he lift in front of that guy.
I hate that guy already.. who is he telling me what to do?
"Hailey again?" Suddenly Sky asked and I opened my eyes.
"She gives me headache." I said honestly and Sky chuckled.
"What did she do?"
"As usual attacking me with the marriage word." I hissed.
"Dude marriage life is great." Sky stated and I rolled my eyes.
"If I'm going get married one day, Hailey is not the girl." I said.
"I think you're being mean to her.” I raised my eyebrows and I laughed.
"She's damn annoying.”
"You punched the guy who almost raped her so badly when you heard Rose said that that guy pinned Hailey to the wall.” He said and I shrugged.
"You're mad at her because you're worried. You're worried about her but you're ended up mad and blaming her in that situation." I ignored him.
"She's stupid Sky.. simple as that.”
"She likes you Luke.. there's nothing wrong with her, she just expressing her feelings. She even change when you said she's a spoil brat and things like that. She tried Luke." I rolled my eyes.
"I don't like her. I hate her with every single cell of my body.”
"Jordan have tried to take her on a date 4 times and she rejected him again and again. She always talks about Luke Luke and Luke" Janet walked in and I sighed.
"Can we stop talking about that girl? I hate hearing her name.”
"She's a really sweet girl and boys like that.. she likes you and you pushed her away like she's a deadly virus." Janet sat on the chair beside me.
"She is a deadly virus.”
"Are you afraid that she will make you helpless and slowly killing you?" Janet asked and I glared at her.
"Stop talking about her." I bursted.
After that we talked about work and it's time for me to go home and have a rest. We walked to the lift together because Sky and Janet are going home too.
Suddenly Janet's phone rang.. I saw her taking out Hailey's phone.
"Hello." She answered.
"Hey Hailey.. yeah, I got your phone. Hey I'll just go to your place and drop the phone to you.. no no it's fine besides I'm going home from the office.. tell me where you work?" My eyes widen, she still working now? It's like 9.39.
"No no it's fine. I'll just drop your phone. Where is the place? Troy's gym? This late night? Hailey it's 9.30ish, you must be tired.. you sure you're okay? Okay.. I'll drop it there." She ended the call and Janet turned to me. I raised my eyebrows.
"She's still working now Luke.. and she's going to work out at 10 p.m because of you!" She bursted and I just ignored her.
"See Luke.." Sky smirked and I rolled my eyes. Pressed the L button and the lift went down.
"Luke, this girl has try new things just to show you. You're so mean." Janet stated.
"It's her choice.”
"Unbelievable!" Janet said frustrated.
"I don't care." Suddenly Janet's phone rang again and she picked up.
"Babe.. We have to go! We forgot to send the package!" Janet said panic tone and Sky nodded. Janet took out Hailey's phone and hand it to me.
"Give it to her.. Troy's Gym, around 7 blocks from here."
"I don't want too!" I stated.
"You know the package right? We need to send it so go.." Sky said and I nodded weakly. I cursed inside my heart and completely annoy by this. I looked at her phone and pressed the home button.
It showed a picture of her and her family in Paris. I looked at her on that picture and then closed my eyes taking a really deep breath.
I hate you so much Hailey Anderson.. you’re messing with my head these days!
