I finished all the work for today and quickly tidied up my desk. I walked out from my office and walked towards to the lift. I sighed big time because my mind kept rewinding yesterday's incident.

How can she likes me?

That question really blew out my mind and I really don't know what to answer or to react towards that statement. It was so sudden, I never know she will be like this.

As I arrived at the lobby, I quickly got inside my car and go straight to the usual bar to meet up with the boys. I drove in a high speed and arrived there fast. I walked into the bar and saw Sky already sitting there calling someone.

"Janet no.. I swear." He hissed.

"I said no, I don't like when guys ogling on you! Jenny! Jenny! No.. don't make me go there sweetheart." He said in high pitch and then he said in a sweet tone in the end. I shook my head and plopped on the sofa across him.

"Baby if you don't listen to me, I will go there now and I won't let you go there again." He closed his eyes and it seemed Janet say something until his face calmed down a little bit.

"Okay then, just have fun. I love you.. okay." He ended the call.

"I don't even understand you.. settling down.. aren't you tired?" I asked completely confuse as I looked at my friend.

"Never tired of her ever, Janet is just.. amazing. Settling down isn't bad as you think Alex. Just because your parents divorce and the other things you stop believing that love exist." He said as he drank his beer.

"You will live with this girl until you die? That's ridiculous!" I chuckled.

"I will, I love her to dead. She's everything to me. Even she's not perfect and like to rebel sometimes but that's it. I don't even like being in distance with her." Sky chuckled and I shook my head.

"So how's yesterday with Angel?" Sky asked.

"Not quite good, everything was awkward. She likes me and she said she wanted to try a real relationship with me." Sky looked at me weirdly.

"And then?"

"I left her, I told her that I don't want that."

"You're such an asshole." Sky shook her head.

"Dude she's a nice girl, you won't get a nice girl like that again. I mean she's capable for you." Sky added and I sighed.

"I don't know."

"You like her too, don’t you? Stop staying on your comfort zone dude, go out and taste the new feeling of it." Sky said and he said that same thing as Angel yesterday. Comfort zone.

"If Janet is not home, like when she's visiting her brother Mark. I felt lonely, it's like she always there and boom she's gone for a few days. I felt weird, even we talked on the phone but it's just not right if that person is not there." Sky sighed.

"What's with the sigh?" I asked.

"I just miss my wife. She's with Mark right now." I laughed seeing him so desperate.

"Hello boys." Aaron entered the bar and plopped beside Sky, Sky gestured me to Aaron.

"What about Alex?" Aaron asked.

"Angel likes him but he dumped her." Sky said and I glared at him.

"Dude that's great.. wait! I mean that she likes you is great but you dump her is just.. why?" Aaron looked at me like I was crazy.

"I- jus-"

"Aren't you happy if someone will be there for you everyday? Kiss you when you open your eyes and hug before you leave to work? Getting mad at you for coming home late? Worrying you if you're sick? Dude I never thought marriage life will be this thrilling, I love it!" Aaron said and I shook my head.

"Do you know how excited she was when she planned for your birthday?" Sky asked and I shook my head.

"She did everything, did the cooking, bought the cake.. even bought you a present." My eyes widen as he mentioned that.

"How did you know?"

"I heard Janet and her talk." Sky simply said.

"What is her present?" Aaron asked excited, I took out the necklace from her. They smirked.

"A for Angel or A for Alexander?" Aaron teased.

"Shut it Samuel!" I glared.

"Don’t you think you will regret this Alex? She's a Hollywood star that surrounded by great people, aren't you afraid that someone will take her away?" Sky asked.

"No." Lies.

"Really?"

"Yeah." I nodded but something inside my heart felt weird.

Suddenly our phones rang, it's a multicall from Kenneth. We all quickly answered it.

"Check the news." Kenneth said.

"What happen?" Sky asked.

"Alex.. please don't freak out." With that he ended the call.

What? Why me freaking out? I quickly opened the news as Kenneth say and try to fi-. I froze, I felt my whole body turn so numb. I read the title a few times hoping it’s just a dream but still this is reality. My breath got hitch.

"Alex.. look you hav-"

"F*** it!" I pushed Sky away and quickly bursted out from the bar. Tears began to fill up my eyes, my heart was aching, my body turned numb and everything felt like a dream.

I quickly made my way to the car with tears flowing out from my eyes. I still can’t believe this. My phone kept ringing and I threw it away. I started my car and drove out from there.
