Chapter 28: Chapter 28

Sophia Celastio

I love reading so much, it’s like going to a different world to me. We can imagine how the girl looks like and the boy looks like and how they build their relationship. I love it.

It’s an addiction.

I never read Romeo and Juliet because it has a sad ending, I hate sad endings. I love a story such as The Last Song, She’s the Man, Bridal Waves and the list goes one.

Twisted story but with happy endings in the end.

Looking for a new novel inside the bookstore, my adrenaline rushed out since I’m excited to hunt a new novel to read. It’s been so long since I read one, I slipped my long bangs behind my ears and took one of the books that caught my eyes.

“Sophia?” Someone called me before I can’t read the synopsis. I turned to the person who called me, It’s Jason Laconte.

Ex-boyfriend alert

“Hey.” I said and smiled awkwardly.

“Hey, how are you?” He walked to me and hugged me suddenly. I didn’t expect that coming.

“I’m good, you?” I asked so it won’t be awkward.

“Not really.” He scratched the back of his head, he always do that when he’s nervous.

“Oh.” Actually, I don’t want to talk to him again and Aaron won’t like this if he finds out that I’m talking to my ex-boyfriend here.

“Do you want to grab a coffee across the street?” He asked and his blue eyes still shines but too bad I love green eyes more.

“Uhmm.” I looked at my watch and still have 30 minutes before Aaron’s meetings done. I looked at him and started to think an alibi to reject him.

“I just want to catch up with you, Sophia. I’m-“

“Hitting on my girlfriend, asshole?” I turned around to see Aaron looking at Jason with his cold and angry stare. He turned to me and gave me his sweetest smile. How can this guy change into 2 differents expression in a split seconds?

“Aaron Samuel.” Jasod said and Aaron walked to me. Slipping his arms around my waist and kissed the side of my head.

“Let’s go babe.” He whispered.

“I love you, Sophia. I want you to get back with me.” Jason blurted and I turned to him disbelief. What is this guy saying? Aaron threw his fist to his face and Jason knocked down on the ground.

“Let’s just go.” I held Aaron’s hand to prevent him to punch him again.

“Don’t ever come to me again, Jason. We’re over like 1 year ago and what a big lie.” I glared at him and he looked at me with a sad eyes.

“I’m sorry, Sophia. I ne-“ Aaron punched him again and this time I bet Jason will go home with one black eyes.

“Baby, let’s just go.” People were starting to gather around looking at the scene.

“Sop-“

“I’ll cut your neck if you’re trying to look at my girlfriend.” Aaron bursted and pulled me out from the library. He’s damn angry.

“Aaron.” I called but he ignored me, we walked towards his car. He ran his hands through his hair.

“I swear, I won’t let you slip from my sight again!”

“I was planning to read and find a new novel there not to bumped into my ex.” I said calmly and held his hand. He looked at me and his eyes softens.

“You’re jealous?” I asked and smiled to him.

“That’s a one stupid question, Sophia. I think I have to tell every guy not to look, touch and talk to you.” He closed his eyes and I chuckled.

“I’m yours remember? Everything is yours.” I whispered to his ear and he nodded.

“You’re beautiful, Sophia. Male’s eyes are wild.” He caressed my cheek.

“I love you, you don’t need to be worry.” I circled my arms to his hips.

“I trust you but I don’t trust the guys out there.” He looked into my eyes.

“Aaron.”

“Hmm?”

“Marry me.” I said and his eyes widen.

“What the hell!” He looked at me disbelief and I pouted.

“You don’t want to marry me? I looked at him with a sad eyes.

“That’s suppose to be my line not yours!” He said and I chuckled.

“You need to stop worrying that someone will take me away.” I said.

“I pretend not to hear that because that’s my line, Sophia. Damn it!” He hissed and I chuckled. I buried my head to his chest.

“You don’t have to be jealous, I won’t look at any man except Channing Tatum.” I said.

“I’ll kill him.”

“I’m kidding badboy.” I smacked his chest lightly.

“My mom asked you to come to dinner tonight.” He said and I looked up to him.

“Really?” I asked.

“If you don-“

“I want to.” I smacked his chest and he chuckled.

“You nervous?” He asked and kissed my forehead. I nodded.

“I’ll be beside you all the time babe.” He said.

“It’s a must or I’ll cut your balls.” I glared and he laughed.

“We can’t make little Samuels if you cut it babe.”

“Just kiss me, idiot.” I pulled his tie and crashed my lips to his.
