I walked towards the lift with everyone staring at me. I ignored their stare and pressed the lift button. I’m so damn nervous.

The lift door opened slowly and I walked out from it. I asked his assistant about his where abouts and she lead me to his office.

Knocking the door and he ordered ‘come in’, I walked inside and he was reading a book. His eyes suddenly looked up to me and he stood up putting his hands into his pocket.

“My daughter is not here.”

“That’s why I’m here, sir.” I said nicely and shook his hand politely. I never met Jack Celastio officially before and here I am standing in front of him.

“What do you want?” He asked as he gestured me to sit on the sofa. He followed me and I sat there across him.

“So what do you want?” He asked in a really serious tone.

“Let’s just go straight to the point, shall we?” I said and he nodded lightly.

“I want to ask for your permission for me to date your daughter, Sophia. I know you’re not letting her because the guilt that you have, Mr. Celastio.” He tensed hearing the last sentence.

“You will break her heart, I know your reputation, Mr. Samuel.” He looked at me seriously.

“I won’t, I love her.” I said and it made him laugh dryly.

“Love? You change girls everyday.”

“That was before I met her.” I said trying to calm myself.

“I can’t let the two of-“

“Let us.” My head snapped towards the door, Sophia was standing there crossing her arms.

“I said no.” She walked inside and sat beside me. She linked her arms to mine and looked at her dad.

“Do I ever want something from you, dad? I never beg something from you, I always do what you want in my life.” She said and then she turned to me smiling.

“I studied in Harvard, working with you and do all the things that you want me to but now I want to decided this for myself, dad.” She held my hand tightly.

“Sophia, you-“

“”I’ve been listening to your words again and again. I tried to date Drake but it didn’t work. I never like him, dad. I listened to your words about avoiding Aaron because of that accident, I did that.” Sophia sighed and she left my hand go. She walked towards her dad.

“I love him, it will never change. I tried everything but he already stole my heart. He won’t hurt me, dad. If he does, I’ll kick him first.” Sophia held her dad’s hands.

“I will never hurt her, sir.” I added and he turned to me.

“If I accept you, I don’t think your family will accept here.”

“If you gave us the permission, it will be easy to talk to his family, dad.” Sophia said.

“Why should I trust you with my daughter? She’s my one and only princess.” Jack asked as he raised his eyebrows looking at me.

“I met her around 5 months ago. At first, she interested me because she kept rejecting me. Your daughter is a really smart woman for rejecting me because she knew my reputation so well. She got me attract to her more and slowly she started to creep my heart out. As I got to know her more, she made me can’t sleep, I think about her when I’m at work and she just make my head gone crazy. She tried to make me hate her but it didn’t work a bit. She made me like her more because of that.” I looked at Sophia and she blushed hard.

“The day before my grandpa died, she told me that she will comeback to me but she didn’t. That’s when my world tore aparts, I got 2 people that have a big influence in my life gone. I tried to track her down in America but I still can’t find her. I was lifeless, a definition of a mess. The feelings that I have for her are more that just a like terms, I even thought about running away with her and just live in a small country side together which is quite crazy because I never think about the next step of relationship before.” I continued.

“I saw the news about her dating Drake Cleventine and I can’t take it no more. I decided to fly to UK that second to take her back with me. She rejected me again. My life turned into a mess 10 times crazier. I buried myself to work but still keep my eyes on her from a distance. Until we have the same schedule to go to that Charity Event. She didn’t come because she knew that she will see me so I decided to go to her and I won’t let her go again.” I said as I looked at Sophia. She smiled.

“I love him, dad. He won’t hurt me. I tortured him enough and I tortured myself enough. I can’t deny my feelings again, dad. If you’re planning to separate us then you will lose your daughter.” Sophia said boldly and I swear I didn’t see that coming.

“I respect you as my parents, dad. Aaron knows that, that’s why he came here without meknowing. I was about to tell you this but he’s here first.” She looked at her dad seriously.

“I want you to trust me, sir. I will never hurt her. I love her with everycell of my body.” I said and he sighed.

“I-“

“We give you our permission, honey.” Our heads turned to the door and saw Sophia’s mom standing there.

“Emily.” Jack said and she walked inside.

“You can date my daughter, Aaron.” She smiled.

“Emily.” Jack said in a warning tone but she ignored it.

“He came to you to ask your permission, Jack. You need to trust him.” Emily snapped her head to her husband, me and Sophia looked at each other and turned to them again.

“You both can go, you can dater her, Aaron. Remember.. If you hurt my little one, I will make you regret for hurting her.” Her mom said and I nodded. I smiled at her.

“Thankyou.” I said.

“Thankyou mom.” Sophia hugged her mom and she kissed her dad’s chee.

“You too, daddy.” He sighed and Sophia walked to me. She took my hand and pulled me out from his dad’s office. She dragged me towards the lift.

“Damn it! I love you so much!” She kissed me hard and I’m loving this.
