Sophia Celastio
“No, dad. My friend’s grandpa is sick.” I sighed as I explained it to my dad.
“I want you to come here, Sophia!” He yelled at me through the phone.
“I can’t le-“
“I want you to come here now, Sophia.” He said in a cold tone. I gulped nervously.
“Okay.” I decided to obey him. I walked to Aarin and held his hand. He was still worried about his grandpa. Dean Samuel’s surgery went so well but he hadn’t woke up yet.
I turned to Aaron and forced him to look at me.
“I have to go for awhile.” I said and he looked at me with a sad eyes. I knew he needs me.
“Will you comeback again?” He asked.
“I will.” I smiled and gave him a peck on his lips. I slowly released his hand and walked towards the lift. Pressing the L button when I got inside and went down to the lobby. I called a taxi and went straight to my house.
I started to get so nervous since my dad never raised his voice on me before. Why is my dad so mad at me? Is there something wrong with the company?
The road to my house suddenly felt so fast and I felt so nervous. I’m a daddy’s girl and he never get mad at me. He only taught me what’s ring and wrong but never yelled at me or even raised his voice.
As arrived at my houce, the atmosphere became so tense. I walked in and saw my dad sitting on a couch with his cold eyes. My mom sat beside him trying to calm him down.
“Mom, dad.” I greeted and my dad’s eyes stared to mine. I gulped nervously and walked slowly to him.
My eyes widen when I saw some photos of me and Aaron on the table. I looked at my dad in horror and he stood up. The only thing that separated us was a table and I was scared to death that he would throw the table to me.
“Why are you hanging out with him?” He asked in a cold tone.
“Jack!” My mom warned.
“Why?!” My dad yelled and I flinched.
“We- I- met him at-“ I suttered as I looked at my dad, he looked so frightening. I have never seen this side of him before.
“Do you know that he’s a bastard?” My dad raised his voice again.
“Jack, don-“ My dad gestured my mom not to disturb him.
“I met him at the Charity Conference, dad.” I said but looking at the ground.
“He sleeps with a lot of woman, Sophia. How can you be so stupid to date him?” He bursted and my eyes widen when he called me stupid. Tears started to fill my eyes.
“Tomorrow, I will send you to Uk to study there, I want you to start your Master Degree.” He said coldly. I kept silent as my tears started to pour slowly.
“I don-“
“I LIKE HIM DAD!” I bursted and his eyes widen. His eyes turned dark and cold. His chest was going up and down because the fury that he had for me.
“That’s it! You’re going to Uk right now and you will never see him again! He’s a bastard and you’re an innocent girl! He’s only using you!” He bursted big time and I looked straight to his eyes. Tears kept flowing down and his eyes suddenly softened.
“Take her bag!” He ordered my maid, they quickly took my bag from the table and gave it to my dad. He took out my phone and smashed it on the floor causing the screen to break. I looked at him enraged, tears never left my eyes and I ran upstairs to my room.
Locking the door from inside and I cried myself out. I couldn’t believe this, how could my dad yell at me like that just because I’m close with Aaron? That didn’t make any sense, he’s jus-.. I’m speechless.
“Sophia.” I heard my mom knocked on the door, I ignored it because I don’t want to see anyone right now.
“Sophie.” My mom called and knocked again.
“I need some time alone, mom.” I answered.
“Your dad loves you okay? He doesn’t want you to get hurt.” She said and I buried my face to the pillow. I’m 24 years old and yet he’s still controlling me like I’m 17.
“Sophia.” A knock on the door woke me up, I didn’t realize that I had fallen asleep. I cried myself out and it exhausting me.
“Honey, let’s talk about this. Open the door please.” My mom begged and I sighed.
“Not now, mom.” I answered.
“You have to eat, it’s dinner time.” She said with a pleading voice.
“Let me go to Aaron, mom. He needs me right now.” I said but my mom stopped knocking. I decided to open my laptop since my phone broke because dad literally threw it.
My eyes widen when I saw the news, Dean Samuel had passed away.
I took my bag and unlocked my room and ran out. I ran downstairs but suddenly the guards blocked my way.
“Move!” I ordered but they didn’t move a bit. I tried to push them but they’re bigger than me. My tears came out knowing that this situation was hurting Aaron. I need to be there for him. He needs me.
“You’re not going anywhere!” My dad’s voice boomed all over the house.
“Bring her back to her room.”
“Jack!” My mom walked to him.
“Dad, he needs me. His grandpa died!” I screamed and he looked at me disbelief. My tears fell out.
“Take her to her room.” The guards held me and dragged me upstairs to my room again. This time, it’s my dad who locked it from the outside. I kept banging the door and screamed to my dad but he ignored me.
This made me realize that Aaron is starting to give me this big impact in my life that no one ever had before.
