I went up to my penthouse and quickly washed up myself. Doing everything fast because I didn’t want to let Sophia to be alone too long. Guys will ogle her and I bet someone will try to hit on her.

I took a shower real quick and put on my white tee and denim short. I looked at myself in the mirror, I just realized that I match Sophia’s outfit unconsciously.

I went down and walked to Starbucks. Why is she taking so long to buy a coffee? Is someone flirting with her? I walked inside and saw her small figure talking to.. f***!

“What the f*** are you doing here?!” Sophia was talking to Josh. I can’t help but burst in anger looking at this, I told her not to meet that bastard.

“Hey, Aaron.” Josh greeted simply and Sophia’s eyes widen as she turned to me.

“I can explain.” She said.

“Don’t ever think about meeting my girlfriend again.” I took Sophia’s hand and dragged her out from there. I heard her prostesting but I ignored it. I don’t like the way Josh looked at her.

“Aaron!” She called but I kept dragging her back to my penthouse.

“You’re so controlling , possessive, and a bastard!” She hissed but I ignored her. I pulled her to the lift and pressed the P button. I slide my gold card quickly so she won’t slip from my grip.

“Bastard!” She mumbled. I ignored her until we arrived at the penthouse. I pulled her inside and make her to sit on the sofa. She glared at me with her cold brown eyes.

“Say that to my face.” I said in a cold tone and she stood up looking straight to my eyes.

“Controlling, possessive bastard.” She said in a cold tone. She’s brave and I admitted that she never fail to surprise me.

“Didn’t I tell you not to see that bastard?” I asked.

“He’s my friend, Aaron.” I looked at her disbelief, friend? The guy likes her and she didn’t even realize it?

“I don’t care if he’s a friend or whatever.”

“You know.. you’re annoying..” She crossed her arms.

“Really? I don’t think so babe.” I smirked and her eyes widen.

“You’re.. really annoy- annoying and- and-“ I took a step closer to her and she stepped back.

“Let me tell you one thing, beautiful. I don’t want you to hang out with any men except me, your daddy and your brother. YOU ARE MINE. It means nobody can touch you, kiss you, hug you and see your sweet smile except me.” I pulled her chin and stared into that sexy brown eyes.

“I’m not a property, Aaron. You don’t own me.” She was still going to give me that cold shoulder huh?

“I don’t share, Sophia.” I said simply and walked to the kitchen. I saw her stomping her feet and mumbled things that I couldn’t hear. She must have been mocking me but I didn’t care.

I don’t like seeing her talking to another man with her twinkling eyes that suppose to be for my eyes only. Damn it! I should keep her close to me all the time.

My phone rang suddenly and I looked at the caller ID. It’s my dad.

“Aaron, your grandfather had a heart attack.” My eyes widen hearing that.

“Where is he now?”

“Hospital near their house, you need to come here.” He said.

“I’m going.” He ended the call and I quickly walked to Sophia who was giving me a confuse look. I took her hand and pulled her out from my penthouse to the lift.

“My grandpa is in the hospital, he had a heart attack.” I said so she won’t be angry with me for dragging her out again. I didn’t expect her to do this next.. she held my hand tightly.

“He will be okay, trust me.” She said and I turned to her nodding weakly. We walked to my car and I quickly drove out from the building. Raising up the speed so I can arrive there faster.

My breathing was not stable, I was worried about him. He’s a really good man and I adored him so much. He loved his family so much and I couldn’t believe this was happening. He’s 79 years old and has a weak heart.

I started having cold sweats, my body showing how nervous I was, I could feel Sophia’s eyes on me. I turned to her and she looked at me worried.

After arriving at the hospital, I quickly parked my car. I got out and held Sophia’s hand pulling her inside.

“I’m looking for Dean Samuel.” I said to the nurse and she lead me to the lift. Pressed the 4th floor button. I got so anxious and as soon as the lift door opened, I walked out to see my family were all there. I ran up to them.

“How’s grandpa?” I asked.

“Still in the operation room.” My dad said and his eyes was full of fear. I saw my grandma crying and it broke my heart. I was glad that my mom was comforting her right now. I walked to her and held her hand.

“Grandma, he’s going to be okay. I promise.” I said and she nodded weakly. I took a deep breath and then suddenly I saw Declan and his wife were walking towards us.

I found myseld walking towards the end of the hallway, I leaned back to the wall where nobody could see me. I need to be alone for now, I’m not ready yo face this reality if something bad happens to my grandpa.

I closed my eyes and let out a big sighed. Suddenly I felt someone sneaked their arms around my hips. I opened my eyes and found Sophia comforting me.

“Everything is going to be okay.” She said. At first, my body tensed up but I quickly relaxed. I hugged her back.

“He’s a strong man, Aaron. You don’t need to worry.” Strangely her words really comforts me. My worries started to go away slowly and it was so good to feel her warmness. I kissed her forehead but I still hugged her.

She slowly patted my back and caressed it slowly. Suddenly she put her lips to mine, cupping my face with her hands and kissing me slowly.

“He’s going to be okay.” She smiled and gave me a peck on my lips. She hugged me again and buried her face to my chest. She’s not only make my bad mood disappears but she’s my comforts too.
