Chapter 15: Chapter 15

After I did the daily check up on the Luna and so no sign of anything wrong, I went to my room, grabbed my paint gear and went to the front porch. I set out my things and started to paint. I didn't know what I was painting yet. I just let my mind go and let my hand roam free. Apparently lots of people do this for therapy. They let the patient not plan anything and let them paint whatever their hand paints. Then when they're finished, the doctors examine their artwork and use it as an insight to their mind. I was curious to see what I would paint without my planning anything. So I just painted.

"What're you doing Mia?" Asked a high voice. I look down and smile when I saw Kieth. I bent down, picked him up and placed him on my lap.

"I'm painting."

"What're you painting?"

I shrug my shoulders, "I'm not sure yet, I'm just painting to see what I would paint."

I chuckle when I see his frown of confusion. I give him a paint brush and hold his hand, "Here, let's paint, shall we?" We both started to paint. However, I felt a strangle sensation crawling up my spine. A sense that someone was watching us. I look around. It didn't take long when my eyes landed on a Noah, standing far away, staring at us. His eyes intense. He saw that I caught him and our eyes met. He was the first the look away and continue with the pack warrior's training. I cleared my throat and just continues to paint.

After about an hour, we were finally done. I looked at it and smiled, "It looks like a Wolf, doesn't Kieth?"

He nods his head, "Yeah! It does." He tilts his head to the side a little and said, "It looks like Papa's wolf." I frowned and looked back at the painting and see that it does. Well shit...It was a silver wolf with deep greys and glowing blue eyes. It is Noah's wolf. I groan in annoyance. This was supposed to be therapeutic, not a reality check. I huff in disappointment. However, that was remedied when Solomon came along. I smiled in greeting.

"Hey Mia," He bent down and kissed my cheek. I bush slightly, from the action. He smiles down at me when he saw my reddened cheeks. "What you guys doing?" He asked.

"We're painting! And I am the best painter in the world!" Kieth shouted while raising his hands up.

"Yeah I can see that all over your face, little man." Soul chuckles. I look down and laugh along with Soul. Kieth had paint on his face.

"Hey Mia, what are you guys doing now?"

I shrug my shoulders, "Nothing at the moment." His eyes immediately brighten.

"Me, some of the guys and some of the kids are going to play blind hide and seek in the forest. Wanna join?"

"Ummm..." I look down at Kieth, "Do you want to play?"

"YES!" He shouts. I laugh and let him down from the lap as he runs off towards the other kids playing. Me and Solomon are left walking side by side to the group.

"So what are we exactly doing for our date tonight?" I asked.

He had a mischievous look in his eye, "That's something I have to know, and you to find out little missy."

I hold my hands up in surrender, "Fine, fine, but at least tell me how I should dress, huh? A girls' gotta be prepared. Especially for her first date."

"This is your first date?"

I nod my head, "Unfortunately yes. I wasn't exactly close to anyone at my pack."

He frowns, "Why's that?"

I look away, "Just reason." We finally reached the group of people who were playing the game. Solomon looked at me in a way saying 'we're finishing this conversation later.'

"So guys, this is Mia. She's the new healer that's going to be helping the Luna." All of them greeted me politely.

"So, who's in?" I asked.

All of them smirked. "You are." Solomon said.

My brows lift in shock, "I am? But I've never played before."

"Exactly, the new person to the game has to be it."

I huffed and rolled my eyes, "Fine, what do I have to do then?"

"You are going to wear this blind fold, which I am going to do because I have a secret knot so than you won't be able to take it off. I am not dealing with people cheating anymore," He said while glancing at some of the guys. "Then you count to 60 while we all go into the forest and hide, but don't worry, we won't go too deep where you can't ever find us. Any questions?"

I shake my head, "Nope, I'm ready."

Solomon nods his head and ties the blind fold around my eyes. He does it really tight so than I couldn't see anything.

"Okay, everyone get ready," I heard him say, "Get ready...get set...GO!" He shouted. They all screamed in excitement as I heard them run into the woods and I start to count.

"one, two, three, four, five, six..." Once I hit sixty I shouted, "Ready or not, here I come!" I walk straight into the woods, relying only on my senses and not sight. I couldn't see anything. Wow Solomon was really good at this knot. I can't even take the damn thing off. I raised my head and sniffed the air. I caught scent of one of the kids and smiled. I slowly sneak towards the smell. I reached my arm out and felt fabric, I yelled "Gotcha!" The kid screamed and turned around, but then laughed when the pup saw me. "Now go back to the field and wait for everyone else." The kids obeyed and went back while I try find everyone else.

I walk around some more, till I heard some breathing near by. I quietly stepped closer and closer. I was a masculine smell so I guess it was one of the men. I was trying to keep a giggle in when I leaped onto him and yelled "Found you!" I high pitch scream reached my ears. The guy immediately calmed down and clear his throat, "Ummm...I don't scream like that, you know? I just have a tickle in my throat."

I giggle, "Sure you do. Go back to the field." He did. I continued this on for a while, until everyone was out except Solomon. He was good . I kept walking, walking and walking deeper into the forest. I felt a little nervous for him. Where could he be. I kept walking. I stopped. This is hopeless. I couldn't smell him, or hear him. He practically doesn't even exist. I stand in one spot for a bit. Thinking of where he could be.

Suddenly a chill went up my spine, and it wasn't the good kind. I tried to keep my heart beat steady, but it disobeyed and started to thump faster and faster. I'm not alone. I felt a presence. I turn around and then turn the other way, I didn't know what to do. I grabbed hold of the blindfold and tried to take it off, but I couldn't. Solomon did it too tight. I hurts to much to pull it off. "Who's there?" I asked. My voice shaking. I'm not warrior, I don't know how to fight? I can do nothing to defend myself.

I hear foot steps, come closer and closer. I felt myself shaking. I raised my hand out shaking. Searching for something. A force pushed my back harshly and I fell unto the floor. I yell out in fright. I tried to get the blindfold off but the not was too tight. I turn around, facing in all direction. "What do you want!?" I exclaimed. a growl echoed out to me.

The presence came closer, it was so close I could feel it's body heat. I felt lips touch my cheek, then it came closer to my ear and whispered, "Sangui el Sanquis krono esmerna fitabella Elizabetha Nightwalker." Then suddenly a hand touches my back and an intense pain courses through my veins. The presence growls deep, sounding so evil and souless. This pain was unbearable. My body was trying to get out of his grip, but every time I moved, it was too painful. He said it again, "Sangui el sanguis krono esmerna fitabella Elizabetha Nightwalker."

Then suddenly he was gone. And the pain was gone too. I sat on the ground in fright. Tears soaking the blind fold as I sobbed. I didn't know what to feel. I felt so overwhelmed with intense fear. So, I screamed. I screamed and screamed and screamed. Hoping for someone to hear. I felt light headed, After a while I realized that I was screaming his name. Noah. I didn't even know. I kept sobbing. I didn't want to be alone right now, I needed someone here.

I hear running towards me which made me whimper. He's coming back again. I shakily backed away when the running came closer and closer. When the presence came again it grabbed me.

"No! NO! Get away! Get away from me!" I screamed.

"Mia! Mia! It's me Soul!"

He takes the blind fold off of me. And it was Soul. I sob in relief. But I still didn't feel safe.

His eyes was wide with worry. "What's wrong? What happened?"

I shake my head, "I don't, I don't know. There was a man and whispers. The whispers hurt me and..." I was crying so hard I couldn't form words. I was too scared.

"Come on, let's go back to the pack." I stand up to walk, but I was too shaky that I didn't even have the strength to do such a thing. Soul caught me and lifted my up. I just kept whimpering. Once we got out of the woods., I was still shaking.

I saw Kieth's eyes widen in fright. "What happened, Mia? Are you okay?" He said with a quiet and frightened voice. I tried to smile at him, but I couldn't.

I was so filled with fear. I mean I know what I just experienced was really intense, but I would think I would be bale to handle it better since I've experienced other frightening situations. But for some reason I am scared of my mind. Then I realized, the words he whispered had been going on repeat in my mind, over and over again. Those words, that was what I was afraid of. I still felt myself shaking, cold and whimpering.

Then suddenly a delicious scent filled the air. I look down the field to see a furious Noah, stomping his way towards us. His eyes seemed to get even more intense and angry when he saw me. He walked right up to Soul and yelled, "What The BLOODY HELL HAPPENED?"

"We were playing a game in the forest with the kids and-"

"In the forest? Are you bloody brainless Soul? Have you not heard of the attacks that's been happening? And you decide to go play a little game in the fucking forest? You're a fucking idiot." Noah looks down my shaking form. I see his chest rise and fall faster.

He slowly looked back at Soul with Livid eyes, "What happened...to Mia." He growled deeply.

"I don't know, she's to scared to talk." I see Noah's jaw clench.

"Give her to me." Noah commanded.

"I can carry her, I'm the one that found-"

"You're the one that put her as well as my very own son in danger. Now give her to me right this second Soul, unless you want to get into a fight." Soul didn't want to, but obeyed his command. He handed me into Noah's arms. My body reacted and instantly sagged in relief. It was as if I knew that I was safe now.

NOAH

When I saw Soul come out of the forest with Mia looking scared as hell, I felt the anger build inside my chest. I felt my wolf want to literally kill Soul. My first reaction was to get to her and get her in my arms.

I carried Mia to the Pack doctors room, but because we don't have a pack doctor, I'll just have to check if she's okay. As I walked, Mia buried her face in my chest, and gripped me shirt tight, as if she was scared that I was going to let her go. I felt my body tingle at her action. What the hell happened? Once we got to the doctor room, I laid her down on the bed. She was just staring at me.

"I'm not injured," she whispered. It was the first word she had said.

I nodded my head, "Good." I sat down beside the bed, and with a gentle voice I asked, "Now...what happened?"

She looked up at the roof and said "I was playing the game. I got everyone out except Solomon. So I went deeper into the forest, hoping to find him. But I couldn't, so I stopped to think of where he could have been. Then suddenly there was a presence, a scent. I knew that I wasn't alone. He pushed me unto the ground. I was too scared to move. He came closer to me and suddenly all I felt was extreme pain coursing through my veins. And then it all disappeared, along with the man. Then I screamed." She looked so lost in thought, like she was living through it again. I could see she was dozing off, "I screamed your name, over and over again." she whispered softly. My ears perked up at that. When she was the most scared...she wanted me. Why?

I saw her eyes close, "Rest." I said. I stood up to get a blanket for her, but she suddenly opens her eyes and grabs unto my shirt to pull down to her. Her cheek against my own. What she whispers so quietly that I could barely hear, sent worry down right to my very soul.

She whispered " Sangui el Sanquis krono esmerna fitabella Elizabetha Nightwalker, that is what he said." Then she fell asleep.

This is bad...this is really really bad.
