Lily stood in the center of the hall while everyone came to wish her one by one. She almost rolled her eyes when her family members came to wish her but she resisted the urge.

Lily found that there were unsual number of men in the hall tonight and couldn't figure out why.

"Grandfather, why did you invite so many men?", Lily asked him with a frown. "I didn't. I just sent invitation to the families, it's them who chose to bring the young men from their families. I think they are here for you", the old man teased.

Lily shook her head at her grandfather.

"Happy birthday, Ms. Sheng", a familiar male voice rang in Lily's ears and she quickly turned to see the owner of the voice. The young man in front of her flashed her a big smile.

Lily looked at the man in front of her while she felt that the temperature of the room dropped and turned to see Adrian a few steps away from her glaring at Samuel who was smiling at her.

Not like she cared about this man in front of her so she just let him smile. It would be fun to see what her husband would do.

Lily took the gift that Sam gave her but the man didn't seem to go away. She raised a brow questionably.

"Never knew the young miss of Sheng could be this hot", he said with a smirk. "I didn't know the owner of Andres Group was such a traitor", she said as she smirked while his disappeared.

"What do you mean?", he asked with a deep scowl. "Nothing", she answered.

Without waiting for him to say anything else, she walked away from there. Suddenly she realised she hadn't seen Sanna with Sam so she started looking around but couldn't find her.

She took out her mobile and texted Sanna only to get a reply that she was going to come with Angel and the others.

Soon the trio arrived with Sanna. Sanna rushed towards Lily and hugged her to everyone's surprise. "Aunty, happy birthday", Sanna wished with a big smile.

"Thank you, little kid. Come I'll get you something to eat", Lily said and took Sanna's hand then walked away without acknowledging the other three people who were waiting to be noticed by the lady.

Angel, Ali and Rahim felt embarrassed and walked away.

Lily sneered internally as she thought, 'Tonight, I'm going to face slap a lot of people. Just wait and watch.'

Lily walked towards the snacks table with Sanna and took a plate then pick up some cupcakes and other snacks. "I'm allowing you only for today. You get it?", Lily asked looking the kid who was smiling.

Sanna nodded as she started eating a cupcake with blue frosting.

Lily stood up to her full height and bumped her head to something hard. She looked up at the tall and handsome man who had a sullen face. She smiled looking at him.

"Why are you angry?", Lily asked looking at the man who had a deep frown on his face. He didn't answer to which Lily sighed deeply.

"Dad, have cupcake", Sanna called out as she gave him a cupcake with white frosting but he denied. "Oh, baby, you gave it to the wrong person. He doesn't eat sweet things, give him something hot like his hot head", Lily teased.

Sanna chuckled while Adrian's frown deepened.

Lily noticed Adrian's face and shook her head before she cleared her throat and gestured him to follow her. "Kiddo, I'll be back in a while. Stay here, alright?", Lily said to which Sanna nodded.

Lily walked away before glancing at Adrian and walked to the empty balcony.

"What happened?", Lily asked when they reached the balcony. "Don't you see it? I'm jealous. I don't like it that so many men are staring at my wife", he lashed out in a possessive tone.

Lily was silent when she heard his direct confession. She kissed on his nose and smiled looking at him. "It's alright. Everyone likes luxury but not everyone can get it, right? Just like that you're my husband so no one will be able to take me away."

"What if you fall in love with Samuel again?", he asked in a low tone.

Lily looked into his eyes and realised the main issue. He was not insecure about other men but that one man's presence made him insecure.

She took his hand and pressed his palm against the left side of her chest. "This belongs to only you. No one, not even that Sam can change my feelings for you. I love you and only you. You get it?", she spoke so gently that it seemed like she was talking to a small kid who was jealous.

Adrian nodded slowly while she smiled and gave him a peck on his lips as she patted his head. "Good kid."

"I've to go before someone comes to look for me."

With that Lily left leaving the man to his thoughts.

'Why do I feel that she just now treated me like a kid?'

Once Lily was back, she went to the snacks table and found Sanna eating. "Mom, where is dad?", Sanna asked looking behind Lily. "He'll be here in a while", Lily said with a smile.

"Young lady, may I have the honour to dance with you?", a man in his twenties came and asked Lily politely. Lily gave him a cold glance and that was enough for him to shudder in fear and leave.

"Hello, Ms. Sheng. I didn't know the Sheng family was hiding such a beauty for so many years", another man came and said only to get cold glare from Lily.

Soon Lily was surrounded by number of ladies who started introducing their sons to her. Lily felt annoyed and wanted to kill them all but she calmed herself.

"I'm not interested in dating anyone."

Her words were firm and full of dominance which made everyone leave quickly.

"Miss. Lily, why do you bother looking for others? They are not your match...", Sam was cut off by Lily's glare. "Then who is? A scumbag like you? Go back to your woman instead of flirting around."

Sam chuckled and said in a flirtatious tone, "Seems you are still upset about the auction day but it's fine. I can make it up to you if you give me a chance. Also, it's seemed like you're close to my daughter, you'd make a great mother."

Lily rolled her eyes at his words and said coldly, "Don't go on the media reports if you think I'm a naive woman who won't know your schemes. I know very well that your wife's death was not a simple suicide and I also know a lot of your secrets, Mr. Andres."

Samuel looked at her with horror filled eyes as he asked, "How do you know all that?" Lily coldly stared at him without saying anything.

"I'm asking you something", Sam said in an angry tone. "Calm down, Mr. Andres. Your 'health' my deteriorate. Please take care of yourself and your child too but for now let me take care of her since you seem busy with others."

Lily held Sanna's hand and took her to he other side of the table but she was called to cut the cake.

A huge chocolate cake with white frosting was brought which she cut then it was taken away.

As soon as it was done, she wiped her hands and went to find Sanna to keep her company.

"Xiao Li, it's time to announce", Elder Sheng came and said to Lily then he looked at the little kid next to Lily and smiled before patting her head.

"Little kid, stay with Adrian. I've to take your mom for a while", Elder Sheng said to which Sanna nodded and smiled. Lily passed a smile to Sanna before she walked away with her grandfather and texted Adrian to stay with Sanna.

"Ladies and gentleman, as you all know that the Collins Group collaborated with JenLi today for their upcoming project, I'd like to introduce the CEO of JenLi Interiors to you all", Grandfather Sheng announced garnering attention of all the guests and reporters.

Kaylyn who was standing with her husband spoke curiously, "I wonder who the young man or woman is. That person seems really talented."

Unknowingly, she praised her own daughter whom she despised.

The entire hall was filled with curious gazes.
