Lily was woken up by the ringing of her mobile. She picked up the call without looking at the caller ID. When the old voice of her grandfather rang in her ears, she sat up straight.

"Yes, grandfather."

"Xiao Li, I heard you're back in the city. Where are you? Nowadays you don't come home and don't even go back to university", the old man said worriedly knowing rumours once spread about his granddaughter. One more rumour would be enough to tarnish her reputation in the circle.

"Ehh. Grandfather, I am with a friend. I'll be back soon", she replied while she looked outside the window and realised it was afternoon. "Let's have lunch together at Hotel Blue Rose, I want to talk about something important with you", the old master said sternly.

"Hmm", she replied and got up from the bed.

After hanging up the call, she tidied her clothes and made her way out of the room to the office where Sam was talking to some of the board of directors. They saw her and were stunned for they didn't expect their chairwoman to be with their President.

Lily came towards Samuel who was glaring at the directors who were staring at Lily for too long now. They gulped and lowered their gaze down immediately upon realising their their mistake.

"I've to go have lunch with grandfather. I'll tell you what I wanted to say later on", she said with a small smile while Sam nodded and gave her a peck on her lips.

At Hotel Blue Rose,

The old master was waiting for Lily in the VIP room of the restaurant that was on the 12th floor of the building. The building was owned by the Hernandez Family who owned one of the best hotels in the world.

Like always, Lily didn't make her grandfather wait for too long after he called her and reached there within twenty minutes. She asked the receptionist who guided her politely.

Lily opened the door and came inside the room as she settled on the chair in front of her grandfather.

"I have ordered your favourite dishes", the old master informed while Lily smiled a bit.

After a few moments, the waiter came in and served the dishes on the table. Lily noticed that the old man indeed order everything she liked. A warm feeling spread over her chest thinking how considerate he was towards her.

"Grandfather, what did you want to talk to me about?", Lily asked in a bit gentle tone. "I heard that you want to get married", the old man said looking at her. She stopped eating upon hearing that and looked up at him.

"Your parents told me you want to marry Long Bocheng. You know you'll have to settle in China after marriage, right?", Old master Sheng said in a doubtful tone as he examined her expression.

He knew her better than any of the Shengs. She wasn't someone to get married to anyone especially to the one who was chosen by her parents. He wanted to see what she would say on this topic in front of him.

When his son came to him to tell him this, he laughed it off but now he was curious to see Lily's reaction which was obvious to him.

"I don't want to marry some hoe just because they wants me to. I have someone I would want to marry." A smirk appeared on her lips as she thought of the sexiest man alive who was the love of her life.

The old master looked at her face and took a guess who the man was and he was almost sure of who it was.

"Is it? Who is that man?", the old man asked in an intrigued tone. Lily pulled out of her daze and looked at her grandfather and blinked. She was quiet for a while before she answered calmly.

"I'll let you meet him when the time is right", she said and smiled softly.

Old master Sheng did not push her further and gave a simple nod.

"And when will you start working in the company?", he asked as he ate his food. "Grandfather, I can't come to the company for now. I have something important going on. You'll know in a couple days."

The old man sighed.

As they continued eating, Lily got a message from the contact that was named "Bastard"

Bastard- Wifey

Dumbo Crybaby- Yeah, baddie?

Bastard- We have to leave for France tonight.

Dumbo Crybaby- Ehh? What do you mean by we? Why do I have to tag along?

Bastard- Because it's my business trip and I used to take you everywhere. I don't want to leave you alone.

Dumbo Crybaby- *eye rolling emoji* seriously? I am not yet married to you, bastard. Go by yourself.

Bastard- Oieee. You will come.

Dumbo Crybaby- Baby, try to understand nah. I'll treat you something good later, I promise. I love you. Take care of yourself.

Bastard- I need something good when I return. *smirking emoji* I love you more, my crybaby.

Dumbo Crybaby- Yeah yeah. *laughing emoji* I'm having lunch with grandfather, I'll talk to you later. See you, baby. I love you a lot, my bastard hubby.♡

Bastard- Okay. I love you more, my bitchy wifey.

Lily chuckled when she saw the last text and put her phone aside.

The old man observed her every movement and the way her expression melted when she got the text but did not say anything.

He gave a meaningful smile and quietly ate his food.

After the lunch, Lily went to the central business district and drove to the western part where there were somewhat lesser companies that were on the top. Most of the expensive companies were in the central part where the Andres Groups and their branches were located.

Lily got down in front of one of the most expensive 60 floors building currently. The word "JenLi" was written in golden letters and we're shining under the bright sunlight.

A feeling of pride rose in her chest and an arrogant smile appeared on his face.

She walked inside the building and was greeted by the staffs.

"Good afternoon, President", everyone greeted as she passed by and lowered their heads. Lily gave a small nod and walked inside with her cold look on and her domineering and majestic aura around her.

Well, well. The mysterious CEO of JenLi Interiors was none other than Lily Sheng.

She bought the plot when she was reborn. At that time, the land was not much of worth since not the most rich people had their companies here and the area was not in demand so the owner was selling the land in just a million dollars.

Because no one was ready to buy the plot, it being in the interior part of the business district, the price kept on getting lower and to Lily's luck she got in the most lowest price one could get.

At that time she didn't want to ask anyone for money so she sold some of her diamond jewelleries to buy the land. Now after so many years, the worth of this plot was twenty times higher than what it actually was.

The sole worth of the building was in billions.

Lily went to her office on the 58th floor since she liked the topmost floor, she made her office on 58th floor. As soon as her private elevator opened, all the secretaries and her personal assistant greeted her.

Kylie Johnson, Lily's personal assistant and the Vice President, Alex Price followed her inside the office while others went back to their work.

The entire floor belonged to her, the vice president and the assistants of both of them.

The CEO'S office was huge with golden theme. There was an adjacent hidden door that lead to the private room which opened with biometrics and passcode. There was a black and golden semicircular desk in the front and a black office chair. Behind the desk were tall floor to ceiling windows that displayed the beautiful city view of the city.

To the right was an in built aquarium, big couches with a coffee table. While to the left was a ten seater dining/conference table with a huge television in front and two armchairs with a small coffee table facing the window.

There was another door next to the hidden room that led to the small private kitchen. The kitchen had coffee maker, fridge full of juices, cold drinks and chocolate, snacks and other essentials.

Lily went over and sat on her chair like a Queen.

'The Queen is finally on her throne', thought Kylie and Alex and smiled.
