(Vivienne)

The air in the room was awkward. I was uncomfortable as I tried to open my mouth to say something to end the silence in the room. My heart was racing uncontrollably I swallowed hard as I shifted around on the bed keeping my head lowered

"What else do you feel?" another question came and like some professional doctor Victor turned to look at me. He looked fine unlike earlier when I saw him. It was just a matter of hours when he asked me to leave his house and now it seemed fate didn't want me to stay alone

"My head was spinning that's all," I told him everything that happened before I passed out. I played with the dress I was wearing waiting for him to leave so I could talk to Cassy. I was convinced Cassy was still causing a scene and with Leo, I knew there was going to be more drama

"Ms. Payton you signed a contract with me" Victor started saying as he turned around. He seemed calm, he even maintained eye contact with him as he leaned against the table where the meds and other hospital things were kept. I also did what he was doing, pretending as if nothing happened between us and I could go a long way

"Sir...my apologies but it seems I'm not welcome in your house," I said innocently and looked at him. He left his own house after what happened between us. To me, he acted like a coward running away from something as if he were a child. As awkward as it was for me to face him after tasting his red lips, feeling his hands on me. I was a fool to think I'd forget everything

It happened five days ago, we kissed he should accept the fact that he did something with me

"You are welcome as long as…" he started but soon stopped as if he was thinking about his next words. I scanned his face and I noticed he was fighting with his inner monster. By now I was familiar with his ways and could understand him just by his silence

"As long as I don't tempt you to kiss me"I blurted out the words without even thinking, I wasn't even pretending nor did the words come out by accident. I said it looking straight into his eyes and he was stunned by my sudden words. His eyes had widened for a second but he managed to maintain his calmness as if what I said didn't affect him. He shifted around before he parted his lips to counter back my attack and I waited for him to deny

"Ms. Payton I'm sure your hormones are kicking in sooner than expected...don't overthink much...your request was something you seemed to have planned," like some businessman Victor remarked looking straight at me. What he said didn't surprise me but why did he say my request was pre-planned. Did he think so low of me that I tried to seduce him? How ridiculous was he to say such a thing to my face? I was angry and I didn't dare hide my anger. I frowned staring daggers at him and I swore I saw a smug tug at the corners of his lips before he started moving around

"I can assure you that...that's not what I was trying to do...I didn't plan…"I said angrily as my hand clenched tightly but he glanced back at me and his look shut me up completely as I averted my eyes from him and cursed him in my heart. He was a jerk and a fool to think I was seducing a fully grown man who could control his urges

A thirty years old man with so many experiences with women, unlike me who was just 19 years old, I've been single my whole life. I was inexperienced about everything and kissing I didn't even know how I did it since it was my first time having lips on me

"With every mistake you make I'll deduct 100$ from your payment," the man said as he walked back to my bed. My eyes widened at his vile words. I wanted to say something but I kept my mouth shut having no words to say to him

"That's daylight robbery," I told him straight. If he wanted me to fear him or get scared then he was in for something else. I was Vivienne, he was supposed to fear me not the other way around

"Next time avoid certain things from escalating to such an extent...I'm willing to forgive the mistake you made five days ago"just like that the man said without looking at me and walked to the door. I was aware of what he meant and I was about to counter back with an insult but he opened the door and left before I could say anything

"Jerk...so what if we kissed...I'm not a kid okay...just admit that you couldn't control yourself" I said disdainfully and crossed my arms on my chest and frowned angrily. He was a big jerk to talk to me about what happened between us

Fine, if he thought I tried to seduce him then so be it

"I'm going to do just that...to irritate you" I added saying the words out loud because I was angry and irritated. If he felt seduced by his pregnant Surrogate then I was going to seduce him more. I felt guilty back when kyan told me about Victor and his late wife. It was heartbreaking to learn she died because of cancer and to make things worse. She hid the truth from Victor all this time and when he found out about it she was dying

"Victor, if she's dear to you then there's no need to cry over spilled milk...you hurt yourself because you are living in the past…'' I muttered as my hand moved to my lips.  The room was so quiet that I could feel my heartbeat. My breathing was a little heavy and the thoughts about Victor's lips clouded my head so much that I wanted to taste them again "I'm sorry but...I'm not going to see you the same after you showed me that a man can be gentle...you are my boss but why do I feel this way around you" I added as I hugged myself feeling shivers all of a sudden and closed my eyes. So much for running away it seemed I was going back to the Ellison mansion

I was looking forward to seeing Monica's face if I went back, I was certain she would be unhappy that I was coming back.

"Huh?"Cassy exclaimed for the hundredth time as she sat up then got up. Leo was rolling his eyes as he played with his nails not sure why the crazy lady was surprised to hear that whatever she thought wasn't the truth

"Yes, Ms... Vivienne is a surrogate...Victor Ellison's Surrogate"Justin said calmly while sitting behind his desk, Cassy was feeling hot knowing she just disrespected the most reputable man that ever existed. She heard of Victor, the man with the looks, wealthy like no man's business and desired by many women. She felt like fainting recalling her drama back at Vivienne's room

"That's why it's important to keep your mouth shut...but that wouldn't happen when you have no class" it was Leo who said sarcastically as he kept his eyes on his hands. Cassy pretended as if she didn't hear the sarcasm from a man who thought he was hot and happening

"You know Mr... celebrity"Cassy straightened up and said with her fingers waving mockingly and walked to where Leo was standing "no wonder I don't know you...for a celebrity you are not so good looking"Cassy added sarcastically and rested her hands on her hips and hearing her words Leo was angry as he moved away from the wall he was leaning to and glared at the woman before him

"You little snake is ugly...your dressing is not classy...your hair is horrible...you would have looked pretty if you didn't have a horrible face" Leo countered back bitterly and Cassy raised her fisted hand ready to punch him in his face but she stopped Midway when she saw how the doctor was looking at her with arched brows

"I'm a former boxing champion...I can fight you, mister...don't let the petite body fool you"Cassy remarked in an innocent soft voice as she smiled and dusted her hands as if resting her case and Leo darkened his facial expression and she wasn't done with her vile words

"You and me in a ring equals bye-bye to your pretty face... I'd smash it until you automatically become an ugly duckling" she added with a sinister smirk that had Leo fuming. His red eyes shot with venom that his heavy breathing itself said it all. Cassy was playing with fire and she could get burned any time soon but he calms his nerves knowing the woman before he was classless

"I'll be happy to see that...this Saturday I know a gym with the right equipment," Leo remarked more seriously and extended his hand forward, Cassy stared at him with a serious face and hesitated before taking it

"Fine…" just like that Leo and her did a handshake, let go of each other and the man stormed out of the office and slammed the door shut. Justin was stunned. He didn't know what just happened but he smiled when Cassy accidentally looked at her

Cassy left Justin's office and decided to check up on Vivienne, both needed to talk and Vivienne had some serious explaining to do as to why a 19-year-old risked her health and life to carry someone's child.
