I was even more nervous when the car finally stopped by the main entrance to the building. I didn't know if this was a hotel or some resort or even an estate judging by the long drive to the main building. I had to say Victor was such a show-off. From the first gate, there was tight security.

Of course, I understood he was a big deal, and since the event was such an important one. He was bound to be careful not to have any guests with bad intentions

"Now this is what I call...a rich people's party"it was Casey who said as soon as we got out of the car she came to my side and held my hand. Both of us were the only ones out of place. Knowing I haven't attended a party like this one other than the one back in Oxford with Victor

"Come on…"we heard Monica say as soon as the security men opened the door for her. She was looking elegant and hot in her denim midi dress, it was sparkly and the entire back up to her waist was exposed in front, there was a deep V-line that parted her breasts showing everyone there was no bra in her dress. The red sheath dress fell to her feet while her brown hair was styled nicely and draped to her front. Her entire shoulders were exposed and I had to say the woman knew what fit her body

"So...I need to find Leo...he gave me the invitation…"Cassy said as we walked down the red carpet and I nodded nervously, keeping my eyes away from the flashing lights of reporters taking pics. I saw some elegantly dressed guests standing around chatting and once we disappeared into the main hall. I was stunned by the bright different lights that greeted us. I saw that even Cassy was shocked. The hall was larger than anything I'd seen before. We stood there by the entrance of the hall. From the chandeliers hung above which shone beautifully. To the gold and black decorations. The atmosphere was so pleasant and refreshing that the soft music in the background made the entire scenery magical. I looked around and I saw unfamiliar faces everywhere, dressed in red beautiful gowns of different designs for the women and black tuxedos for the men

"So I guess you'll keep her company," she said turning to Cassy unfortunately Cassy was already feeling party vibes to pay attention to anyone especially Monica

", I'll be right back...I need to find my boss"Cassy cut Monica off before she could say anything and she walked away in search of Leo and I was left there with the grumpy lady "how pathetic...and now make sure you don't cause trouble...this is important for Victor ''Monica brought me back to my senses when she said and I turned to her with a confused expression and she was looking at me with a warning glare. Of course, I knew she was warning me not to cause trouble

"Hey, Vivie... Moni wow you all looking stunning" a jovial female voice interrupted me and it was the doctor. I knew it just by her perfume which lingered in the air when she approached

"Hey, you...when did you arrive in London?" surprisingly Monica said with a happy smile and both women hugged it out. I was stunned by how she shifted from an angry tigress to a harmless cat

"Didn't Vic tell you...that fool must have forgotten"the lady whom I knew the name Martha said with a smile and I was shocked by the way she called Victor a fool. Were they so close that she cod call him that

"I see anyways I'm happy you decided to grace us with your presence,'' nice Monica said as they broke the hug. It was surprising how Monica forgot about me and

"Yup...hey Vivienne how are you doing...you look beautiful...I guess the little Surrogate wanted to stand out" Martha said, turning to me and I was caught off guard but I smiled knowing I was the only one in something different. I felt out of place, not sure why Victor chose something so different. From the entrance outside, people were staring at me wondering why I was wearing pink, not red

"I'm good thanks...you look gorgeous," I said and I meant it. She laughed covering her mouth with the back of her hand and I knew she was a happy one

"Martha since you just came here...come I have a few people you have to meet, "Monica remarked and dragged the lady away before she could say anything to me. I watched as they disappeared into the crowd only then did I turn around and a waiter walked up to me

"Welcome Ms...please this way, "the man in a white and black uniform said with a low bow and handed me a glass with clear liquid in it. I guessed since I was pregnant well water was what I had to drink

"Kindly take a seat," he said when he guided me towards the tables and I ended up sitting close to the stage. I looked at the stage and it was nicely arranged. And a banner for the 20th anniversary

"Thanks," I said when I was served some appetizers. I didn't know why I had a waitress and a waiter on my table giving me special attention because my eyes were busy wandering around in search of Victor

"Please don't forget to call anyone when you need anything," the lady said and they both walked away and I was sitting there sipping on the liquid which wasn't water at all. I looked around and more people were sitting at the given tables. I counted the number of chairs each table had and it was approximately four people per table. I glanced at mine and there was two lady purse which made me wonder if I also had a few people sitting at the same table

"Hey there...just the person I've been waiting for...or is it looking for?"while lost in thoughts I looked up and I saw Castro smiling at me

"You? wow, "I said, happy and surprised at the same time. He beamed and gave me a half hug since I was sitting and pulled out a chair close to me and sat down

"So the little princess is dressed like a princess" he teased with a playful wink and I swore he was being naughty. I failed to hide my laughter but I controlled myself

"Nah...I crashed the party...this is what happens when...you sneak into a rich people's party" I said in between laughter and Castro burst out laughing. I saw how his eyes twitched as he laughed hard and I was left with no choice but to join him

"No seriously...I heard a couple of men praising a redhead they saw…immediately my mind moved to you...so I went on a hunt and look I found myself a redhead" he remarked with a grin and sipped on his drink since he came with a glass. I didn't know what to say but just made an O with my mouth

"Yup...you look beautiful and different...like a flower... beautiful red hair and a beautiful pink dress," he said more seriously and I found myself blushing, unfortunately, that was cut short when I glanced to the sides and saw someone wearing a white tuxedo. I had to look again and my heart skipped a beat when I saw the man I was looking

"So like I said...you owe me a dance...the CEO will give a speech and other important guests then the dance floor will be open" I heard Castro say unfortunately I was lost looking at Victor. He was standing away from me separated by so many tables and people walking around but he stood out. I guess the CEO had to look different and he was looking hot. Was it a wedding? I joked in my heart and I saw as he accidentally looked my way and seemed surprised when our eyes met

"What else," I said awkwardly averting my eyes from the man

"You weren't listening...I guess Vic stole the show huh" Castro said and when I looked up I saw he had that serious straight face

"I'm...no no..it's just that this place looks beautiful and bewitching that's why I...." I tried to make up anything to cover up for the awkwardness between it. He smiled and I could see the smile wasn't a genuine one. Maybe he caught me staring at Victor and when I secretly glanced back at Victor. He wasn't with the men he was talking to earlier but with Monica and Martha, and she had hooked her arm with Victor's arm.
