Looking at Victor he seemed quite busy with what he was doing. I guessed whenever he was in doctor mode he didn't want to be disturbed but I wanted to ask him who that lady was. And the worst part was she was now my doctor

It would be weird for me to talk to her. She was on the jovial side and liked smiling a lot. I was that, I loved annoying Victor with my bickering but now it seemed he had that woman to annoy him and he didn't mind at all

"I'm okay you don't have to worry, "I said, shoving his hands away from me. Both of us spent a night together, in case he forgot, we did more than just he hands or kiss but much more and I wasn't ready to say goodbye to those memories he made possible for me

"It's best if you rest Ms. Payton...I'm sure your check-up wasn't necessary" he said and put his doctor stuff away. By now he had his coat off and his white shirt sleeves rolled up to his elbows. He looked hot, especially without a necktie, and recalled how I took it off. I giggled inside and watched him move around. Victor was exceptionally handsome. His graceful movements had me staring at him. Just the thought of me getting access to every part of his body and me feeling something rising in my chest. It was a strange feeling more like ownership

"He told me not to miss any appointments," I said and scanned my arm. I had to wear long-sleeved clothes for a long time because I was bruised and Victor was the man to blame for everything

"That's not an excuse," he said, returning to where I was and handing me a white pull which he had put on a white lid. A bottle of water was in his other hand and I looked at him without blinking

"It's either this or an injection...you better take this," he said, tilting his head a little as if telling me. I had no choice but to take the tablet because I was afraid of a mere injection. I didn't argue knowing he was the man in charge hence I took the white pull and popped it in my mouth and washed it down with water. I sipped more before I gave back the bottle to him. He was half-sitting at the table next to me and it felt uncomfortable having the man close to me but I had to say, Vivienne liked the attention and care she was getting and I smiled knowing he cared about me

"You should go now" he whispered as he looked at his watch around his wrist checking the time and I nodded although I wanted him to drive me back

"I'll take a taxi," I said getting up but he gently shoved me back in my seat and took out his phone from his pocket trousers

"The driver will take you" he simply said and I wondered who would take him. I was going to ask when the door opened and I shifted my eyes to see who it was and it was the doctor

"Sorry...I thought you left, ''Martha said as he walked in and looked at her. She wasn't wearing the usual doctor attire but a beautiful black dress reaching above her knees which hugged her body like a second skin. Her curves are in the right places and her blonde hair falls to her shoulders. She settled for black flat shoes and a red purse

"Hi" I simply muttered and looked at Victor

"Vic it's time...I thought you could spare an afternoon for your bestie...sorry Vivienne…" she said waving g at me and walking to where Victor was "I just came to London after a long time and I'm stealing this grumpy man for a couple of hours" she added with a smile and hooked her arm around Victor's arm and moved closer to him

"I'll take my leave...have a good day," I said, getting up from the chair and grabbing my purse. I didn't want to stay and ruin their perfect reunion. I should have known she was his bestie. I left the room  angry

"How dare he do this...I'm sure both of them will have fun...oh I'm a doctor...oh we are both doctors and cool" I said angrily and stomped away from there heading to the exit door which was also the entrance of the hospital building. I didn't care about Victor. He was a fool and he should stay away from me. How dare he do this to me

"Take me away from here Bobby ''I said to Victor's driver as soon as I walked up to the car packed just outside. He opened the backseat door for me and I settled in feeling rage.

The driver started the car and I leaned back in the seat, closing my eyes for a while. I kept imagining what Victor was doing, they were going to have lunch. Maybe go to the movies. Would there be a chance of him missing me? My eyes opened and I rolled down the car windows. The city was bright and vibrant. It was now in the early afternoons and nothing felt better than ice cream to soothe my dry throat. Unfortunately, I was too exhausted to have any ice cream hence I kept my eyes busy with counting the buildings and cars an,d before I knew it. We reached Ellison's mansion. The gate opened on its own and the driver drove right in

I guess I was going to spend my boring day with Kyan. I hoped he was back from school since he was chased away by Victor

"Thank you," I said with a low bow as I got out of the car and the driver smiled at me. I was supposed to feel embarrassed over what happened earlier but I didn't have to feel shy when I was doing what was good for the baby

"Excuse me miss"immediately a mailman was standing outside the entrance. He rushed to e as soon as he saw me

"Yes... everything okay"I said looking around for anyone and he nodded and smiled before adjusting his blue cap

"Well I have this for Ms. Monica...I've been knocking for quite some time and no one is coming out," he said, handing me a white envelope. I scanned it for a while not sure if it was a good idea to take it

"Okay"

"Yes please sign here, ''he said and showed me where to sign, and handed me a pen. I hesitated before I signed and gave the pen back

"Thank you Ms...have a wonderful day," he said with a smile and walked away from there. I scanned the envelope in my hand and I knew it was important

"Is anyone here?"I asked when I proceeded inside and looked around and there was no sign of Julia or others. I decided to go upstairs maybe Monica was sleeping or in the shower

I climbed the stairs taking my time to do anything. As soon as I reached the top of the stairs I made my way to Monica's room. If she was not around then I would leave the envelope on her bed or table so she could find it easily

"Moni...you there?"I called out knocking lightly at her door but it was slightly open and there was no answer. I shrugged and pushed the door open

"I'm sure she will"I muttered to myself looking at the envelope as I walked in and immediately my head lifted

"Huh!?" a gasp left my mouth upon seeing the scene before me. For a second I wanted to turn away but I was too stunned that the two people in the act felt my presence and looked at me

"Dear go" it was Leo who exclaimed as our eyes met and Monica who was on top of Leo naked pulled the sheets around herself and I didn't wait to see more as I covered my face and stormed out of the room

"No no, "I said, slapping myself to get rid of the images I saw. I ran straight to my room not believing my eyes. I thought this was a dream but it certainly was not

"How could she... isn't she with doctor Justin...but now Leo?"I was confused as I paced back and forth not sure what to think. I once caught Monica and Justin in the office doing who knew what and I thought they were a thing but now I just saw her with Leo doing the same thing and that too in broad daylight

"Is she...cheating...what's going on?"I didn't even want to think about it knowing Justin and Leo were like family. Did Justin know about Leo and did Leo know that Monica was with Justin

I was bothered a great deal by feeling sorry for Dr. Justin. He was a nice man and Leo too was a good guy and my buddy. What game was Monica playing with to men

"We need to talk"my bedroom door burst open on Monica in a red robe walking in as if she were a boss. Her hair was a little messy and her face red

"About what? That you are cheating Monica!"I nearly yelled at her knowing she was playing with two men's emotions

"You have no right to tell me that"she lashed out bitterly and I was stunned she was angry at me. I just walked in on her with Leo having sex. Not to remind her but I saw her do the same with Justin

"Then explain to me what's going on before I go out that door and tell…"

"You won't say anything you got that...you better keep your mouth shut and stay out of my business" she cut me off as she walked closer to me. I was shocked at how defensive she was being. I was the one to tell her to shut it because she was busy using two men for her selfishness

"Are you with Leo or the doctor?"I asked, crossing my arms over my chest and looking at her seriously. She seemed shocked at me but I didn't care. She was doing something wrong or was she not with Justin

"This is none of your business...you are here as Victor's Surrogate...stay out of my private life"

"I'll talk to Leo, ``I said, shaking my head and pushing her out of my way. I didn't want to talk to her when she was busy being sarcastic. I had to ask why he was with Monica and how long their relationship had been going on and did Victor know that his cousin and friend were sleeping with the same woman under his roof.
