"This is madness, there's nothing here!"Leo yelled in pure frustration as he scanned the place but it seemed whoever it was playing mind games with them. Victor stood in the open space which was dark and isolated. There was nothing there, no normal building but just a crumbling warehouse which they had searched but still there was nothing. Jared and his team haven't arrived yet. He knew how incompetent the police were but his anger had reached its limits

"This was a trap"Victor muttered to himself but Leo heard him loud and clear. They drove for what seemed like half an hour to get to the place where they thought they could find Vivienne unfortunately it was it

"What now...damn it!"Leo had lost it that all he wanted was to make sure the person who dared to harm Vivienne rots in hell but Victor wasn't playing to send anyone to tell, knowing even the devil would worry about what he was going through to do with the culprit. They could mess with him but if they dared harm his Surrogate then they were courting death

"He's doing this. I should have known he would attack in the shadows"Victor murmured as he took his phone and glanced at it. The time was almost past midnight. Who knew how his Surrogate was doing. She was delicate, especially his child. Her pregnancy was a complicated one knowing she needed nothing but great care unfortunately now she was going through hell

"Who is it?do you know who kidnapped her?"Leo asked, concerned with Victor mumbling to himself. Anyone who saw him would think he was calm but only Leo knew how Victor acted whenever he was angry. He hated showing his anger and only got violence when someone deserved it and now whoever it was didn't know what they were fishing for themselves. Victor was about to say something when his phone vibrated, by now Leo was standing close to him as he peeked to see if it was another message. Unfortunately, it was a call and this time a name appeared on the screen. Leo was shocked upon seeing the person calling but Victor's eyes only narrowed shrewdly as he answered and put the call on speaker

"What do you want...I'm an impatient man you better think before you cross me" Victor said in a dark tone. There were no emotions whatsoever as he shifted around and waited for the fool who dared to cross him to speak but what he heard was sarcastic laughter. An annoying bristle sound that was deafening to Leo's ears knowing the bastard had dared to play dirty

"I warned you, Victor...I told you... winning against me costs not money but a life" a male Stern deep voice spoke bitterly. Victor was angry but he calmed his nerves as they both started heading back to the car knowing they walked into a trap.

"I recall burning down your useless buildings or do you want me to burn you instead...where are you keeping her!?"Victor said sounding angry. Leo was following as Victor walked like a wounded animal. They already checked the damned well which was abandoned and Alfredo used that to threaten him

"You should know I won't spare you that easily Victor...I must say you have good taste... Alisa was an exceptional gem and this one...this one is a little doll...she's beautiful...is the child yours?" the man spoke, sounding sarcastic and Victor could sense how pompous Alfredo was. He didn't fear mainly because he hid behind his men

"Don't you dare hurt a hair in her head...trust me one strand from her head will cost you...your fucking generation!"Victor yelled so much and slammed hard on top of the car. He was always in control of his anger but hearing Alfredo threaten him made him go insane. Leo was worried as he walked to the car park on the side of the road and reached for the phone.

"The call is disconnected...do you think he's keeping her at his mansion?"Leo asked when he noticed Victor's phone screen was broken

"No...he wouldn't dare...but he'll regret crossing me...call Jason and tell him to do some damage...I want Alfredo in the streets"Victor remarked as he settled in the driver's seat while Leo took the passenger's seat. His eyes widened upon hearing Victor's words but he smirked and took out his phone. The issue was a simple one but Victor was going to cause more harm than good.

With great speed, they drove away from the place which was isolated and the same place where he burned Alfredo's warehouse after he colluded with some people to ruin him. Leo knew who Alfredo Morales was. A shrewd Italian businessman who was Victor's arrival. He lost a huge contract that was worth billions and Victor won it without even lifting a finger. The two men were powerful and wealthy and dominated the business industry. Unfortunately, Alfredo was still a bitter man because despite how hard he tried to be like Victor he always came second even in looks. Victor was exceptional and loved by millions while Alfredo was the other man who had to rebuild his father's ruins he was nothing but a greedy drunkard who gambled away his entire fortune and left his family in ruins when he died

Alfredo was envious of Victor mainly because even though Victor studied to be a doctor, he took up the challenge of becoming the CEO not only that but he made sure his family legacy was cemented.

I tried to open my eyes and failed before realizing they were open. I felt numb all over that moving seemed like a big issue. I didn't know if I had gone blind or I was in some dark room I couldn't see anything but I knew my hands and legs were restrained

"Help me! let me out!"I tried shouting to be set free but my voice came out all hoarse as if a frog was stuck in my throat. I felt the pain that even swallowing saliva seemed like a task that I was likely to fail. I tried moving my legs but I heard the sounds of chains. The cold metal was restraining not only my legs but my hands which were trapped above my head. My eyes lifted too but I couldn't see anything

"Let me out you fucking bastard!"I shouted so much that my throat cracked making me cough and flinch in pain

"Hello" I tried again but there was no one. I didn't know what happened or when I got here but recalling the incident back at the baby store everything happened so fast that I only saw a shadow as a cloth was placed on my face and I was dragged away. I wanted to fight back unfortunately I was losing consciousness

"H…" I was about to shout again when I heard the turning of a doorknob. My heart skipped a beat as I waited for whoever it was to come in. The door creaked open adding to my anxiety. The lights went on suddenly blinding me and I ended up closing my eyes from the shero-burning sensation. It was used to the dark that the bright lights were blinding

"Wakey wakey little doll" I heard a Stern bristle voice mutter and immediately my eyes flew open only to see a tall brown-haired man dressed in a navy blue suit. He had a smirk plastered on his oval beardless face. His eyes were a deep Amber not sure which color it was but his gaze was somewhat evil. His picture was rather bossy, especially the way he had his hands in his pockets

"Who are you? you better let me go or so help me I'll make you pay!"I spat out bitterly not waiting for him to say why he decided to touch me and lock me up. Looking around I saw that I was in a large room. A bedroom and I was tied up in bed. It was soft but I had no time to notice such useless things

"For a little one, you have a sharp tongue...I envy him greatly.. it seems he's destined to have such beautiful gems at his disposal"the man ignored my anger and spoke nonchalantly as he slowly made his way towards the large bed.

I didn't like his appearance, although he wasn't so scary. He looked refined in the suit like some businessman, however, he had bad intentions written all over him. I moved my legs together knowing they were exposed and I saw the man smirk as he fixed his eyes on me

"Don't touch me"

"He's coming for you...he threatened me...he dared to do that...but I'm waiting for him...you are a beautiful one, no wonder he's going crazy like a lunatic" the man said disdainfully cutting me off as he sat on the bed close to me. His eyes traveled from my face down my body and I moved away although the chains restricted me. His eyes stopped at my belly which was slightly exposed since the bonus had lifted without my knowledge

"Pregnant" the strange man muttered as he fixed his eyes on my belly causing me to be uncomfortable, who was he and why did he kidnap me.
