I made my way to the pool, the mansion was rather quiet with only security men present. It was cold and warm at the same time hence I hugged myself and walked to the pool area

It was a little hidden, after what happened the last time, I haven't been to the pool but it seemed things have changed a little or I didn't see the entire pool area.

"Sir...are you here!"I called out to Victor when I reached and I didn't see anyone. I didn't even dare get close to the pool for fear of falling in hence I kept my distance and scanned the entire area

The shallow pool was separated by a wall then the deep side where I fell last time. Looking further I saw that the water was flowing inside the pool from the boulders to the far side which appeared deeper and more hidden. It wasn't exposed the last time and the water wasn't coming out but looking at it, the water was raining down and looked breathtaking.

"Wow like a waterfall"I muttered still admiring how beautiful the dark blue water appeared

Leo had told me the pool was big but I didn't see the boulders had some water flow there when I saw a figure emerging from the same area I took a step back knowing it was Victor

I glanced to the sides and saw his shirt on the tiled floor

"Show off"I muttered with an eye roll knowing he was showing off that he knew how to swim. This wasn't a big deal but as Kyan said, I was too beautiful to be ignorant about swimming. But what was good about swimming, was a lot of water scared me I was better off bathing in the tub or jacuzzi

"You late...there's a fee, Ms. Payton," the man said immediately he reached my side and rose to the surface, he was wet all over and water was dripping down his face and body like some Greek god

"I don't want to swim"I simply said without looking at him but I heard him push himself out of the pool and sit by the edge. I peeked secretly at him and cursed knowing he was doing things on purpose. He was now in shorts that were drenched and stuck to his lower part like a second skin. The lights illuminating the areas shone on his body making his upper body clear and I swore. He was something else. This wasn't my first time seeing him like this. But it seemed he liked giving me a free show

"It's my decision...strip"Victor simply said and rose to his feet. My eyes widened upon hearing his words hence I shifted my gaze to him and he was standing close to me with a serious expression

"Huh?"I muttered and quickly hugged my chest, fisting my shirt close to my body. How on Earth would he just say things to me and stripping was a no-no

"Sir...I'm not comfortable having you as my... Sensei"I said with chuckles making a joke out of what he said. I didn't ask for swimming lessons from him nor was it necessary so why was he bothering with me when he was supposed to be going through his work and making more millions for himself

"Ms. Payton I'm not here for jokes...the last time you drowned nearly cost me a lot...I'm doing myself a favor volunteering to teach you…" he said as he advanced toward me and I slowly backed away from him. He looked scary especially all naked and hot and dripping ball over "I don't want to run to your rescue every time your inability to swim gets you into trouble" he added in a husky voice as he kept on moving forward and I was backing away from him. He seemed to be in a mood to get his way and the thought of it had me feeling dizzy, his gaze was frightening especially when he used his forbidden voice to torture me

"I...I... didn't ask...for this...plus I...don't want to swim"I muttered nervously, swallowing hard in between words and keeping on moving backward. My heart was already beating so loudly that I felt like I wasn't breathing. It was uncomfortable and before I knew it

"Ahhh!"I screamed when I slipped on my own two feet and ended up falling back and into the pool. I landed "h...help me...help...I'm drowning!"I shouted for help while trying to flutter my arms and legs as if swimming but I was being driven to the bottom by an invisible hand

"H...help me" I shouted again but I ended up swallowing some water while trying to talk. I tried to get above the water and see Victor but he had lowered close to the pool and was staring at me. I grew frustrated as I tried to move above but I was too heavy that I sunk down

"I'm waiting Ms. Payton" I heard him say, not sure if water had gotten in my ears but again I moved my arms above and saw him smirking at me. I knew he was teasing me while he watched me go through hell

"P...please sir...t...teach"I didn't even get to finish my sentence when I got dragged to the bottom but I stopped breathing, I held my breath and tried blowing bubbles with my mouth and opened my eyes fighting for my life, strange images flooded my mind. Screams of agony invaded my ears making me shake my head. it was irritating that I started flapping my arms and let's to get out. fear washed over me as the screams of a little girl calling out for help and begging to be let out of the water echoed in my ears such that I found myself losing my breath and falling into an endless dark abyss. Before I could kiss the bottom of the endless pit I felt strong arms grab me, wrapping them around my back and inner knees, and pulled me up. By now my lungs were losing oxygen making it impossible for me to hold my breath

"Ahh" at the whiff of fresh air in my lungs, I gasped desperately for the intake of air once I was brought above water. The desperation had me gripping Victor's body as my life depended on it. I didn't even care how exposed he was but I snuggled to his chest as fear continued to reign in my heart. I was fully disturbed that my heart was thumping violently against my chest that it was hurting

"D...don't do that again" I muttered, feeling tears lingering in my eyes, my chest tightened so much that I fisted his skin instead just to get enough assurance that he wasn't going to let me drown. The feeling of drowning brought so many bad memories which I didn't want to recall

His actions and negligence made me feel he wanted to do the same thing they did to me

"I don't want to die...don't punish me I didn't do anything.. please"I kept on begging while snuggling to his chest, muttering the words out without having control of myself. By the time I had control over my body, I found myself in Victor's arms, we were in the middle of the pool and he wasn't moving

"Done yet" he murmured looking down at me and I looked around jerking back to reality and I was holding him so close to me. I was wet entirely and my shirt was stuck to my body with my wet hair falling into wet waves to my face. Realizing the position I was in, I wanted to wiggle out of his embrace but I couldn't do that when I was scared of water

"I don't want to swim"I mumbled hoping he could stop whatever he was doing. With Leo, it wasn't so scary but I didn't know why with Victor many emotions were involved. Just now I recalled a bad scene from childhood that scared me more than anything. I just wanted to get out and sleep in my bed

"So it's a fear...you just don't want to swim but...a fear from the past," he said in a normal voice as if he realized something. How was he holding me when we were in the middle of the pool? Was he so skilled to carry my weight as well as his

"N...no...I'm not so capable," I said, shaking my head. I didn't want to say anything knowing I overreacted when the issue was a small one

"Let's start Ms. Payton...I think we can handle this fear if yours" he said and suddenly let go of me. I gasped thinking he would let me go hence I ended up resting both my hands on his shoulders while he kept his around my waist.

"Steady...don't be scared...just imagine yourself as a leaf floating on the water...close your eyes and flutter your legs in windmill motion"Victor muttered softly as he kept me steady in his arms. His voice was soft and tranquil like the serene waters. I surprisingly adhered to his instructions and did as told

At first, it felt like I was being driven down to the bottom by an invisible force but with what he said I was moving my legs in motion and he pulled me close to him until my body crashed with his.

"Good...don't be scared…I'm here" he muttered softly just as my eyes opened. I wanted to see how he looked while saying such assuring words. This was the first time I felt his words and when our eyes met. I was stunned to see a soft gaze full of concern. I wouldn't have seen him if not for the light coming from the Eastside. His face appeared a little light blue. His lips were red with water dripping down his face. Some strands of hair were falling over his face making him look different that I didn't know what to do

"I'm...I'm good now...what else"I murmured averting my eyes from him trying by all means to ignore the fact that we were so close to each other with his arms around my back

"The night is young...we have more to do...get ready,'' Victor said with a mischievous smirk and pulled me to him. I was shocked at his actions because my face ended up colliding with his and my lips connected with his jaw. My heart raced knowing I was just an inch from crushing on his lips and I wanted to avoid that but I had to be strong knowing the man had evil plans in his head.
