All Vivie wanted was for Alexis to be happy. She had gone through so much in her life and hence needed a little time to loosen up. Setting up a tiny outing with Maverick was a good idea. Vivienne learned from Leo that doctor Maverick was single. For his age, he didn't even have a girlfriend because he was the same age as Victor although Victor had been married before
Vivienne knew setting up the doctor with Alexis was a big spark however she couldn't help it when she thought of how their little fights might turn into love then both would have doctors as their men
"I...I don't think so...it's dangerous" nothing felt like teasing Victor. Vivienne knew the man didn't like some things. He was so old-school and serious. They decided to go to the park. Skylar wanted to ride a rollercoaster unfortunately Victor didn't want that
Vivienne failed to understand how the man never did all this when he was a little boy. Or did he spend his entire childhood indoor playing doctor with a little doll
"Don't be such a baby... Sky loves it...it was fun" I said while laughing at how ridiculous he looked after a good ride on the rollercoaster. He wasn't the only one being tortured because five more men who happened to have the same view about fun time didn't want to obey their wives. In my case, Victor was just my boyfriend refusing to have a little fun
"Cut it out...I'm not doing that...again" he said when I dragged him around the park. Skylar already found a friend hence leaving more time for me to irritate Victor
"Give us every flavor," I said to the man selling ice cream. I promised Skylar we would have some ice cream but we got carried away with shopping for dolls and cute dresses earlier and came to the park.
"What? Do I have something on my face?"I asked arching my brows at him because he was staring at me with a serious expression without even blinking
"No, it's just that... Skylar also...likes every flavor" the man said more hesitantly and proceeded to get the ice cream cups from the seller and my smile dropped. For a second I forgot this part. Skylar was my baby she was bound to take after her mommy
"Umm...well it's because...ice cream is just so nice" I didn't even know what to say as I quickly replied and prepared to head back to Skylar. This was serious if Victor continued to see similarities between Skylar and me then problems would arise. How was I such a fool to keep this from him? It was high time I told him about Skylar
"Ice cream ice cream!'' We didn't even reach the spot we took for our little outing when Skylar left her two adorable friends and came running to us. She was so cute in her little pink Jean shorts and a cute strapped shirt showing off her belly. I decided to make her wear some cute sparkly blue canvas to go with the outfit and her hair in one bun with strands falling to the sides of her face
"Hey hey...take it easy... you'll get a brain freeze" I stopped her from taking too much on her spoon. But ended up laughing because she was exactly like me in everything. I couldn't resist ice cream before even now and Skylar took exactly that. Like Victor said she wanted all the flavor
"I might as well buy an ice cream shop and become the seller," the man remarked as he watched us eat. He didn't have anything because we took even what he had
"If you do that then I'm sure...no one would buy any," I said laughing at his statement. I wonder what a grumpy man would give. Customers would run away for sure
"Meaning?" he asked arching his brows at me while he used a clean handkerchief to wipe Skylar's mouth
"For starters, you are bad at communication and secondly...you don't smile...no vibe you know" I pointed out the things which would make him a bad ice-cream seller or any other because people would get scared
"Now... sweetie do you think so," he said looking at me with a frown, and turned to ask Skylar who was busy in her world of eating.
"Yes, Papa terrible"Skylar answered nonchalantly without even looking at Victor who frowned even more as he looked around the busy place of children running and parents screaming after them. Some were selling candies to kids and I spotted a cotton candy booth. There was a man dressed like a cartoon ice cream cone sitting outside without any customers selling cotton candy and other sweet things kids loved. My gaze shifted back to Victor and he was grinning as he looked at me then blinked mischievously
"N...you wouldn't dare…"I muttered, shaking my head because he wasn't so good with that. The same man once told me he wasn't a fan of food sold in a booth by the roadside but now he got my attention when he started going towards the cotton candy shop. I was bewildered, more perplexed as I watched him with amusement. Unlike most times he was just wearing simple dark blue jeans with a long-sleeved black muscle shirt and some black sneakers. His hair was growing a little. I guess he was about to keep it long
"Umm, I don't get it"I heard the man say to Victor when he told him something I didn't hear.
"Here...let me rent this for an hour, "Victor said, getting cash from his wallet and slamming it on the counter of the booth. The man was alerted as he scanned the Greek god before him asking for a cotton candy shop. He was dumbstruck as his eyes widened in shock, his jaw dropped automatically in disbelief and amusement. His eyes shifted to the fast cash he was given then to the man doing the giving and nearly collapsed
"S...sir...but this much..for an hour...I mean…"
"Is it a deal or not? "Victor said not sure why a small token to have his shop for an hour shocked the man
"No no...take it...I mean oh sweetie biscuits" it was surprising how a grown-up man would act so childish seeing money. Victor sighed as he waited for the man to get out of the booth. And once he did and took the money Victor glanced back to his little redhead still sitting on the spread blanket with Skylar
"Should I give you this or…"
"Keep it"Victor cut the man off when he offered him the thing he was wearing. So ridiculous he thought as he proceeded inside. He had to bend down just to get in and Vivie muffled her mouth seeing that the man might be taller than the booth
"And just add the sugar...the machine will do the rest"the man rushed back and told Victor before he ran away laughing in amazement leaving Victor with furrowed brows as he scanned his workplace
"Okay so how do I fish for customers and...prove that woman wrong?''Victor mumbled out loud as he checked the merchandise he was selling. "What the heck" he muttered when he started checking the cotton candy machine. That man already made a few so how was he to make new ones for the kids? Kids loved eating sweet things but now he just had to figure out how to lure customers to him
"Oh just great... isn't this just sweet cotton," he said as he continued to work wonders on the machine. Sooner or later he would get a hang of it
"Excuse me…" he heard a woman's voice and when he looked up he saw a lady smiling at him… Victor smiled back and the lady giggled shyly
"Yes...do you want some cotton candy for your cute boy?" he said, having no idea how to talk to people and convince them to sell. This shouldn't be difficult because he was already a great businessman
"Mom I already have so many candy bars dad said no…" the boy the lady was with started saying showing her all the candies he had in a small bag but she put her hand on his mouth surprising Victor who was amused
"Shut up Billy…sir how much are the candies?" she asked smiling at Victor who glanced down and
"Give me whatever you have" he simply said not sure the price and the lady giggled even more
"I didn't know such a hot man was selling the entire time...give me as many"the lady was happy as she went on praising Victor not just her but two more came and requested cotton candies for themselves not their children
"He looks familiar...I think I've seen him somewhere?" another one said but Victor lowered the cap he was wearing even more to hide his face. Of course, he appeared on TV and in magazines of businessmen he couldn't afford to attract the media here
"So hot and sexy...how is he selling candy"
"I want these to myself...he's so handsome"Victor was smirking inwardly seeing the many customers he had surrounding the little booth such that some were just coming to get a glimpse of him. Some fought to get inside and all were women
"Huh...how...how is that possible...he's grumpy and rude"Vivienne exclaimed in disbelief as she looked at the swarm of women surrounding her man. She could barely see the man in that crowd of women trying to steal him
"Sky have you seen that...he's…" she said to Skylar unfortunately when she glanced to the sides Skylar had run off to her friends leaving her sitting there wondering whatever happened. The women were trying to get a piece of Victor which was not done
"Not on my watch," she said and rose to her feet dusting herself angrily as she took huge long angry strides towards the booth. This was not her plan at all. He was now showing off
"Excuse... excuse…" she said pushing her way to the front but it was not easy as the women pushed her back as they fought to stay in front of the booth trying to get a glimpse of Victor
"You are even married...go to your hubbies," Vivie said to them feeling irritated with their behavior. Three of them looked back and laughed at her
"Of course we are but just look at him...so hot and dripping"
"Hehe and sweet like the candy he's selling"another one chimed in and said with shy giggles irritating Vivie even more
"Pathetic" she spat out and went to the back and luckily there was no one there. She spotted an opening and yes it was an entrance
"Come on...that's enough," she said when she opened it and grabbed Victor's arm, and struggled to pull him out. Victor was caught off guard but he managed to get out smiling as he removed the cap and tossed it to the ground
"Do you want something?" he asked as if he didn't know her and Vivie was furious as she dragged him away from there before they followed him
"I didn't say attract bees okay" it was too much that he managed to prove her wrong but that didn't mean she had forgiven him for being such an insensitive man
"Am I not sweet honey?" he remarked grinning at her as his eyes shone with mischief
"No...only for one woman!" she growled out as she dragged him to a safe spot and Victor was laughing because he won and she lost. It turned out he was just amazing
"So I'm the best...did you see that... I'm the greatest...you should be proud"the man whispered as he leaned down her face and Vivie slapped him playfully and dragged him to find Skylar
The sun was going down hence they gathered their things and went back to the car. She was glad Victor settled for a driver because she and Skylar had some time to lean on him while they drove back home. The day was a fun one. Maybe it was a good time to tell him the truth about Skylar.
