"H...how is that possible you're not making sense, "Alexis said as she checked her project ideas given to them by the supervisor with what Vivie was given. They just reported to work and the first thing they found was a meeting with several people all-important and had a high position in the company, Priscilla as the supervisor was there giving instructions to them

"Argh, why are we even bothering...the boss must know she's lazy...just look at her always flashing her red hair as if she's a big deal"Brea, one of the female interns, came to where they were and said sarcastically. Vivienne didn't know what to say. She saw the project the other five were given and they had something similar although the task was to make something unique hers was completely different and didn't make sense

"Shut it Brea...this is serious...I'm sure the boss made a mistake"Alexis was the one who shut Brea for me but I could do that if I wasn't confused. What was Victor trying to do

"Whatever...I'm going to nail this...I'll be the best and the prize the boss is giving will be mine"Brea said cheekily as she scanned me from head to toe. I found out she was intimidated by me. Not sure why but she didn't like me at all and I cared less

"I need to see him," I said taking my laptop with me and preparing to go to Victor when Alexis stopped me

"Umm, that's a terrible idea...I saw a bunch of terrifying men in suits head to his office... Priscilla said he has some very very important guests" Alexis said, shaking her head for me not to go. Looking at her she seemed intimidated by Victor just Hy the way she was emphasizing important guests

"Let her go I'm sure she'll get scolded by the boss...so pathetic," Brea said mockingly and I just rolled my eyes at her and nodded at Alexis. She didn't have to worry about Victor scolding me. She didn't know the power I held on the man, it was more of a secret relationship between an employee and the boss

I took the ordinary elevator to the filth floor. If he was trying to embarrass me then he had to stop there. This wasn't a joke. Whatever I did count on my school report. The information gathered here was important for my further studies when I was done so if Victor was trying to do something crazy then he was in for something bad

"I'm sorry Ms. Payton but sir said no one should disturb him," Jason who I found standing outside Victor's office door said Immediately I reached there

"I need to see him it's urgent," I told him straight and prepared to walk past him and knock at the door

"Ms I'm very sorry but strict orders from sir...it's best if you wait until he's done," Jason said professionally and kept me from knocking at the door. He was provoking me on purpose especially when I was in a bad mood. His boss was getting out of control. From bullying me secretly and now he was doing it publicly. It was too much for me that I ended up pacing back and forth respecting Jason who was older than me. I would have pushed him away if it were a female but no. One slight mistake of him looking away and I took advantage of it and rushed to the door pushing it open and I barged in stopping when I found four men all elegantly dressed in suits of different colors and design

"Ms...please what are you doing?"Jason, who regained his wits, followed me in and grabbed my arm ready to drag me away but I stood my ground and the men turned and looked at me as if an alien had invaded their privacy. Victor, who was only wearing black trousers with a black tuck-in shirt with sleeves rolled up to his elbows, looked at me with knitted brows.

"Any problem...Ms. Payton?" he asked more hesitantly arching his brows at me but I didn't care as I proceeded to the lounge where they were sitting discussing who knew what but I saw a lot of documents scattered on the table which was in the middle

"My apologies sir...but I have an urgent matter to discuss with you," I said in the most sincere way possible. I could feel Jason's anxiety from behind and I knew he was scared of my approach. Victor's eyes narrowed even more as he stared at me for a while when he shifted his gaze to the men before him. They were surprised that I barged in on them but Victor's anger was something I didn't care about

"Gentlemen, if Ms. Payton went through so much trouble to get here then it must be important…" the man surprised me when he said looking at me with a serious expression "if you'll excuse me I'll look at your proposals later and inform you about my decision" he added shifting his attention back to the men. I didn't know he would get rid of them

"No problem Mr. Ellison...I'm sure we'll come to a beneficial agreement...take your time... gentlemen let's go" one of the men said respectively speaking to the other men who nodded at Victor and rose to their feet. I was stunned at how they didn't say anything bad as I expected. I guess they had full respect for the victor. The men walked past me as I stepped aside. I saw as Victor nodded at Jason standing to the sides and he left from there and only when the door closed did I look at the man sitting there with his legs crossed like a boss he was

"Vic how could you...this is not fair," I said as I walked to the lounge angry at him. He lazily looked at me with arched brows as I stopped before him

"So the respect isn't there huh?" he asked still arching his brows at me and I wasn't happy

"Forget calling you sir...this has gotten personal"looking at him he seemed to be enjoying seeing me suffer like this. But I wasn't going to give him the satisfaction

"Oh really...are you unhappy because I'm treating you the way I treat my employees?" he said with a frown and I was speechless. So he knew what he did and now he was proving he was the boss

"Don't worry...I'll show you that I'm not scared of you bullying me" clearly he was trying to embarrass me in front of everyone and all his employees but it was high time I proved him wrong

"Come here" the man gestured for me to go to him. I didn't want to but he did again and this time I got close to him not sure why I was even bothering with him

"Sit" he gestured for me to sit on his lap. Was he crazy or what? Victor had lost all respect for me. If anyone asked I'd tell them I preferred the grumpy man from three years ago to this one.

"Please sit...I'm in a bad mood" he added when I was just standing there looking at him as if he were an alien

"Why should I...did I cause it...or did your lover ignore you" I answered him disdainfully, I recalled that doctor coming to get sky. They seemed like good friends which were likely to happen when Victor gave her full rights

"Jealous?" he muttered arching his brows and it added fuel to my anger. Was I jealous?  Of course, I was because another woman was friends with my daughter. "Bring yourself here," he added and I had no choice but to comply. Hence I slowly and carefully sat on his lap and the man adjusted into a comfortable sitting position and moved his hand to my waist and held me there. I didn't touch any part of him but he took the laptop in my hands and placed it on the table

"Does it bother you when another woman is close to me?" he muttered, looking at me with a soft gaze. It was to understand Victor. Sometimes he displayed his affection and at other times he pretended

"Of course not you can date as many women as you want...I don't care"if he wanted he could go out with all the women including that doctor. I bet they would look good together

"I see...I'm going out...some men invited me for lunch...so I want you to come along" the man said while running his hand on my back gently. Just his touch was enough to melt me completely but I stayed put

"Not interested"

"It's not your decision to make...I want you to act as my PA today...so follow me around until I say when you leave"by now he was leaning close to me inhaling my scent. Something I didn't think he would do but the man was brushing his soft lips on my exposed shoulder since I wasn't wearing a jacket on top of the blouse

"I have a project to prepare"I whispered doing everything I could not to react to his touch even when he slipped his in my shirt causing me to ache down there I stayed still and kept my hands to myself

"My work is more important... we'll leave right away"he mumbled softly and played with my bra straps. Victor was a shameless man, a shameless boss who liked bullying me, and like a fool, I fell for him even more just like now. I came to give him a piece of my mind but I was getting seduced by him instead.
