Chapter 74: Chapter 74

"We should grab a taxi," Kycine said to me.

I don't know on what grounds I agreed to go with her and I don't know what pushed me on to continue following her, but it just happened and this is my time to ask her everything. Actually, I'm not really curious about what's happening to her and Blade. I'm more curious about why she's in jail on the same day I was there and she's holding a big envelope.

"I have a car. Shall we?" I asked her and she scoffed.

"What a show off," she said to me.

But I brushed it off because, at this point, I was about to regret why I agreed and let her into my car. It's not necessary anymore because it's already been done. I just want to suddenly go back to Blade. Her energy is so draining that I can't stand it. I'm so sorry Blade, but I needed this as well.

I was just driving and I was minding my own business.

"Where's the coffee shop you want us to go to?" I asked her while my car was still at the stop light.

"Are you sure you're the only one Blade loves? I hear your contractual marriage is voided." She said something to me that piqued my interest.I don't know if it's obvious from my appearance, but I was really surprised by what she said and how she knew that it was voided.

I ignored Kycine and focused on the road. I know I am better than this. I need to control myself no matter what happens, especially when we are on the road.

"We were okay and you ruined it." she said, and her voice was shaking.

"He even got you a car when we were together. I was so guilty that he was buying stuff for me."

"How can you suck this up?" She says.

"He gave it to me as a present, like a wedding gift. What do you expect? Reject it? As Auntie Grizel and Uncle Bill were present, " I told her, and I'm not sure if I'd pay more attention to her or concentrate more on my driving.

"You're such a gold digger. I thought you were rich. You can easily reject that, but you still chose to accept it. " She says

And I flinched, like was she out of her mind? What I notice is that Kycine looks bright, but where is her brain? She doesn't seem to use it.

Then she started crying. I don't know where we're going, but I'm driving as fast as possible so I can get her out and kick her out of my car because this is not a good idea. We could be caught in some accident.

"You ruined everything!"

I didn't pay attention to her because I was getting kind of scared.

"I don't know what you fed Blade for him to choose you." She says

"Clearly, you just used a potion." She said, yelling at me. The gut of telling me that I didn't even use a drop, didn't even have one

"I'm not using charmed shits and if Blade chooses not to get back to you again, good for him."

"I already know why he didn't choose to fix everything between the both of you. It's clear that you're really the delusional one." I said to her, and she grabbed the steering wheel, and we struggled to turn it.

She said, and I was losing control of the handle.

"If you're going to ruin a relationship, don't do it with me. I should have been his wife. "

"Please, Kycine, we're going to crash!" I shouted at her.

Then, when she let go and I turned the steering wheel and thought that everything was good, we were on the other line and my car crashed into a truck. I don't know what happened because my vision swirled at the same time. I opened my eyes and I was upsidedown and I saw people gathered on the walkway.

I thought to myself, if Blade came to see her or tend to her earlier than I, I would not hesitate to--.

Then my vision went black and I no longer knew what had happened.

We are inside the meeting room while looking at the work of the new interns. I prefer to make sure that they are focused, especially here on this experience. Everything they will go through will start, but I don't sugarcoat, so they won't be surprised. If they ever have such a situation, they will not think of it as being unfair.

"Sir, phone call." Luis said, and there was a look of concern on his face, so I took my phone from his hands.

"Hello, this is Blade." I said while nervously checking the time. It's almost 6 pm and Alessia is still not there, so I started to get nervous.

"Yes, Mr. Blade, this is the Motherly Care hospital."

"Miss Kycine got into an accident and she will be here at the hospital via ambulance." She said, then I rushed over, even though we don't have it anymore, I still care for her, but not that much, and started to call for Alessia, but her phone was out of reach.

Luis started driving because he insisted. It is true that I can't drive in this state, so I was trying my best to stay calm and as we reached the hospital. When we got there, I saw Kycine and she was being pushed by a stretcher, unconscious, and I didn't know what to do. Then the next stretcher almost took my life.

"Alessia," I said, and Luis held me back from getting too close to her, and I started crying.

She’s in a much worse state than Kycine was in and I don’t know what to do.

Then everything went black.
