Chapter 21: Chapter 21

I don't know what's going on, but there's an unknown tension between the three of them. I don't know if I'm the only one who notices because I looked at our companions. They seemed to be okay.

Since they arrived, Blade hadn't spoken, and I didn't know what was going on, but Isabella called us to eat because dinner was ready.

I sat first, and Blade supported me and sat next to me. I just smiled at him and I don't know what happened, but I also saw the woman next to us. Her hair was in a high pony and a dress with a slit when she met Blade and me earlier

Then we decided to start diner, and I was just playing with my food when I saw that there were raisins on some of the dish they prepared. Everyone seems to like it, but I don't like it, especially in the dish.

"You don't like raisins?" Blade asked me but I ignored him and I saw him take a saucer and put the raisins on it and eat them.

I held his hand but he ate until there was none left. I was really worried, especially after his secretary said that he seems to have an allergy to such things.

"You look like newlyweds. A husband who eats everything his wife can’t" Luis said and they started already teasing us, I smiled at them, but I couldn't help but get upset with him.

On the other hand, I noticed that woman gripping the spoon handle tightly, as if disgusted by what was going on; I assumed they were friends, but why would she react like that? Shouldn't she be happy?

The dinner ended quickly and we stayed in sandals, and Blade held my hand tighter than usual. I couldn't understand him, but I stayed silent and asked

"Is there something wrong?" I whispered to him while I rubbed my other hand into his and his other hand was placed inside his shorts and we only wore slippers so I’m starting to feel cold.

We were about to leave when the woman who had been so angry before suddenly blocked me. I just looked at her when she suddenly spoke.

"You're Alessia, right? I'm Kycine. " She said and smiled at me the same way I did, and I shook hands with her, but I felt rather odd about her motives.

"Nice to meet you." I just swept my thoughts under the rug and just let it be. Maybe she wasn't that bad after all.

"Do you mind if we just have a conversation with Blade? You know, a little get together." She told me

"Sure, I don't mind, but you should ask Brandon first." Suddenly, she clinged to Blade's hand, but I didn't mind. Maybe that's how they really are comfortable with each other but Blade’s actions told me otherwise

I couldn't say goodbye to him when they suddenly pulled him and I decided to just hang out inside the hotel. Everyone was having a great time. I saw from the balcony as I enjoyed the breeze, I wondered what connection they had and that's how he could act. I'm really thinking about where I saw her, but can't figure out where. I saw that the time was a bit off because it was already 10 pm and I went out when I met the women heading to our room and said that they had a marshmallow party that they thought I should attend.

But I declined and said I wanted to enjoy the awe while I was here and decided to walk on the shore and just clear my thoughts. I grabbed my jacket and headed to the shore, and strolled as far as I could reach my walk, and I saw in the distance it was Kycine and Brandon

And saw that Kycine was still clinging on Brandon’s arm, and Blade released her cling to his arm, but the woman deliberately returned it as they were close to my place. I went behind a comfort room next to the beach.

"We broke up, already. Why do you even have to go here?" Blade said in his coldest tone.

"I didn't agree, so it's valid." said the lady.

"I don't need your validation. Leave now." Blade said, walking on ahead of her, the woman let her hair down and faced the direction of the sea where I was hiding, and I knew where I saw her, it was her. She's Blade's girlfriend; she's the one in the picture.

She would have seen me when suddenly some both hands covering both my ears, and to my surprise, it was John.

"It was her." I just said to myself, tears falling from my eyes. He was still holding both my ears, but I heard what he said.

“Don't listen, you'll just get hurt. Things you don't know can't hurt you. " He said, and I let go of his hand, which had been blocking ear preventing me from hearing them.

As my tears fall down, I can’t help but look at the beautiful moon, and it sort of comforts me, and realize that I’ll just hope for the better, especially since they have a tendency and a chance to come back at each other’s life.

John realizes why his friend is so protective with Alessia. She looked like an angel that took him from heaven by just looking at her. He shook his head and looked at the moon. He felt his heartbeat and realized that it was dangerous.

"Thank you for accompanying me, John. Have a good night. " I said and got up to go to the hotel. I didn't even look at what they were doing, but all I knew was that Kycine was left alone emotionally.

I was walking while I thought that I've ruined something, but to my mind, it looks like Blade really had the intension for them to separate their ways, but why? Why would you throw away something like that?

I was close to the elevator when I entered and click the number of our floor. Our co-workers were really enjoying their day on the shore, but when I got to the floor I pressed, I saw Blade waiting in front of his door.

“Why are you just now? I've been searching all over for you. " He said as he greeted me.

I don't know how I will feel, but I know my knees are shaking, and I am itching to tell him, but I also think, if I am in the right position to tell him something. We are not even a thing, but I have to know one thing.

Although I was nervous, I confronted Blade. I didn't know if he would answer, but I gathered my strength and told him.

"Is Kycine your ex-girlfriend?"
