"I'm sorry, but Mr. Raener didn't make it."

Those were the words that were exposed to Alessia when she got back to the hospital. She dropped all the fruit she was carrying and she saw her mother crying begging for the doctor to do everything, but it did nothing. The doctor was just closing his eyes as if ignoring her mother's cry.

"What do you mean, Doc? Why isn't my father coming out of the emergency room yet? " Alessia asked.

And everyone was just looking at her. All of a sudden, people were gathered in a circle murmuring something and everything went black as their eyes popped out saying

"You're the reason your Dad's condition became like that."

"You’re the one who didn’t visit them after all of those years."

"You are insensitive."

Then Alessia was perplexed as to where everything was coming from, and she saw herself on a coffin while Dred was crying and her mother was comforting him.

"Alessia...."

That was the first voice she heard after being in a confusing scene. As she was searching and looking for a place she could hide, a familiar face flashed towards her. Her clone was full of blood and was smiling creepily towards her.

"Noooo!"

In a split second, she came back to life as she was looking at all of the commotion above her, and as she was rolling her gaze, she held her forehead because of dizziness and was thankful because it was all a bad dream.

"What happened yesterday?" Alessia asked, trying to stand up.

But her mother prevented her from and Alessia got a chance to take a quick glance at her father, who had all those kinds of monitors and even a tube that supported his breathing.

Alessia did nothing but cry. All of the nurses that were above her were thanked by her mother.

"You were acting weird while sleeping, so I called them. Luckily, it was just a bad dream." Emelda asked.

But Alessia was just looking at her father helplessly, but as she looked around, Dred was gone and he was nowhere to be found.

"Mom, what date is it?" Alessia asked.

"It's March twenty-second." Emelda said as she stood up and took a cup of water for Alessia to drink.

So she's been asleep for 4 days now. Alessia drank the cup of water fast, and that's when she just felt so thirsty.

"Dred? Where is he? " Alessia asked her

"He'll be here in a minute. He insisted on managing the company. Because there are a lot of people calling your phone. I shouldn't have said this to you." said Emelda.

"You mean it's been happening for a long time?" Alessia asked.

"Yes, your Dad just doesn't want to tell you because he doesn't want to see you cry." said Emelda.

which moved Alessia to tears, but her mother patted her in the back.

"But he has nothing to worry about; you are in great hands, and Dred is amazing. Your father should've seen that to change his mind and be sorry for what he did. " said Emelda.

And Alessia was just looking at her dad while thinking if she could still find a husband like Dred her entire life. She looked at the ceiling and wondered if she had eaten anything or if she was dehydrated. Alessia didn't have any other choice but to sign and say

"Oh my, Dred." I'm so sorry...

Dred was swaying in his swiveling chair, wondering what it was like to work with Alessia Rae Williams in their country, especially as CEO. Dred wanted to see her manage a whole company well despite everyone doubting her strength and capability.

"Sir, this is serious. You need to come home here because it was really chaotic." Jake said to him

Dred then turned the chair where the tablet was directed, then he placed his intertwined hands on his forehead and sighed deeply. He only had a week left to talk and tell Alessia everything. Jake was speaking in the background, but Dred didn't mind him as he was looking at his wedding ring as he caressed it. He remembered the times that happened to them, it was like a winter breeze after a long fall.

"Sir, are you listening?" Jake asked Dred.

"Yes I am. The matter that we discussed?" Dred asked him

"Done Sir."

Jake was still perplexed as to how Dred was making this deal like he had so little time on his hands. Jake was thinking it was too soon to make a will and testament and a 30% share with the relatives. Jake just shook his head, thinking that if he was Dred, he wouldn't think twice about not giving them because he knew they didn't deserve it.

"You're not going to kill yourself, sir?" Jake asked, which made Dred look at the tablet stunned.

"Huh! No Jake, what are you thinking? " Dred said that he was suddenly drunk by the water that was on the side of his table.

"I was just surprised because you made the last will and testament earlier than everyone else," Jake said.

And Dred just looked at the picture of Alessia on her father's desk and it was like Alessia's age here was 19 years old, but she didn't age at all. Not even a bit.

"Sir, you have to get back here quick. I'm so stressed out. " Jake and Dred chuckled.

"Yes, yes, I'm done here too, and I'll see you in a bit."

"Thank you for everything, Jake. Hang on a little bit," Dred said.

"Yes, sir, please take care of yourself." said James and Dred ended the call.

Dred stood and looked at the city below him, how cars turned into ants, especially in the distance. He knew he had to do everything to spend his days with Alessia and for once to be Dred like he used to be, but Dred broke down in tears as he realized that he was already far from being like him before and how much love he'd shown Alessia over the years.

"Dred...."

That angelic voice flattered Dred's ears and smiled like a lunatic because he could already hear her voice, but it repeated his name, making him turn to be surprised with Alessia as a whole in front of him, and Dred couldn't resist anymore after those 3 dreadful nights. He saw this and rushed in to greet him with a hug

"I thought I was going to lose you."

Dred said, and Alessia just smiled.

"No, I'm still right here." Alessia said and kissed him.

Then Dred didn't resist and kissed her back as much as he could, making Alessia's secretary that entered the room embarrassed and locked the door for them. They both giggled and Alessia rushed towards the computer and turned off the CCTV of her office room and the meeting office. They continued kissing until they entered the meeting room...
