Chapter 12: Chapter 12
The fuckers made a commotion.
Noah continue to talks to his viewers.
"Ah, the noisy ones? Don't mind them because they're my friends. Alright, here's the deal. If I sell out all my merchandise today, I'll show them to you," Noah said to his viewers, "Yes, ma'am, they're handsome, just like me. You can't mine them, but you can take them out."
"Are you in love?" Keran teased Nick.
Nick stood up and moved closer to them.
"She hates me so damn much, and I don't know why. We were childhood friends, and when I came back from abroad, her attitude towards me changed. We used to be close," Nick confessed.
Enzo sighed upon hearing his friend's confession.
"Good luck with your marriage, fucker. If you need a lawyer for the process of your annulment, just call me. And if you kill someone and need a lawyer, call my fucking crazy twin brother," Enzo said sarcastically.
"Fuck you! We won't get an annulment!" Nick hissed.
"You're already talking about annulment right after getting married, Enzo!" Sorin scolded him, laughing at the same time, "Give it at least three months," he added.
"That woman hates you so much," Enzo repeated.
"I don't care," Nick replied emotionlessly.

Walking sadly towards the mansion, Azaria needed money to start anew. He had nothing and had to rise from her fall.
"Nanny, where is grandpa?" she asked the housekeeper she came across.
"He's in the garden, ma'am," the housekeeper replied respectfully. Azaria didn't respond and took big strides as she walked.
"Old man!" she called out when she saw the old man eating durian, her grandfather's favorite.
"Azaria, you've come to visit? Why isn't your husband with you?"
she felt sick at the mention of that man as her husband.
"Could you maybe lend me some money?" she asked boldly.
The old man's expression changed. "You, child! You never seem to do anything right in your life. What will you do with the money again?! Your husband has already paid off all your debts, why don't you ask him for money?"
His face changed in response.
"I don't even consider him my husband. We're just married on paper. I only agreed to marry him to avoid jail and pay off my debts. That's why I'm here, I need money to start over."
"I'm not pleased with you, Azaria! You don't know how to handle money. I have no money left, and even if I did, I wouldn't give it to you or lend it to you."
she was irritated by his grandfather's response.
"We're practically not even related! I need money to start my new business! Lend me some because I will pay you back," she pleaded.
"You only come here when you need something."
she couldn't come here every day. His grandfather was already old.
"You have a husband now, I'm no longer responsible for you. Ask for help from your husband, not from me."
she tried to hold the old man's hand, but the old man pinched her, so she let go.
"Please, Grandpa, I'm begging you. I can't even leave the house because I have no home and no car."
The old man ate another piece of durian before he answered, "And where will you get the money to pay me back? You don't even have a single cent. You haven't even returned the money I bailed you out with. You're lucky that Lanvin is kind and helped you. Go ask your husband for help!"
"Grandpa, seriously! You always say 'yes' right away when your adoptive son asks for help! You're showing favoritism too! Besides, I'll pay you back once my business plan becomes successful. And I don't want to ask for help from your adoptive son! He's too full of himself!" she retorted.
"Why do you think that way about Lanvin, huh?" The old man pinched her ears. "You should be grateful to your husband because he's the one who paid off the people you owed money to. Leave now, because no matter what you do, you won't gain anything from me."
she was being kicked out by the old man? My god!
"This is so frustrating! You're so irritating!" Her face showed immense irritation. "Just remember this! When I become successful, you'll be 'nothing' to me!"
"Call your husband and borrow money from him! I don't want to talk to you anymore because all you've given me is stress," the old man said, annoyed.
she would never ask for help from that man. In fact, she planned to compete with his company once she became successful. she would take that man on!
"I don't want to!" she protested.
"I might die early because of you. You will be the death of me, Azaria. You're young, so fix your relationship with Lanvin because he's your husband, and you're lucky to have him."
Why did everyone keep saying she was lucky to have that man? That man was the lucky one to have her; she was a limited edition.
"I told you, I don't want to! Why do you even meddle in my life? Let me decide about my marriage, stop being so controlling!" she snapped to annoy the old man even more.
"Enough! Leave my sight, or you'll give me a heart attack!" the old man ordered her to leave again.
"Marites! Marites! Marites!" he called for one of the household staff.
"Sir, what is it?"
"Call Lanvin and tell him to come here right away," the old man said seriously.
"Yes, sir."
Grandpa was calling that man to come here? she didn't want to see that man! she was infuriated by that man! she couldn't forget how that man cheated on her last night! He was flirting with other women at the party! And he even had the nerve to say he didn't want to leave her, but deep inside, she just wanted to flirt with other women.
Azaria looked stressed.
"I'll just leave. I really have nothing to gain from you," he said resentfully to his grandfather.
"I'm no longer your responsibility, Azaria, and besides, your husband is the one you should turn to. I chose him for you so you would have someone to rely on. I know Lanvin will help you and won't abandon you."
She mocked her grandpa.
"Sir, he's on his way," Marites informed them.
"Why do you know everything?!" she asked with a scowl.
The old man just shook his head at him.
"I hope Lanvin's hair won't turn white because of you. You're such a stubborn child!" he fumed inwardly.
"And you there, showing favoritism! You sent all your adoptive children to study abroad, but you didn't do the same for me, your own blood! You favor your adoptive children over me! Even that annoying Camille, the haciendero's daughter, is so arrogant!"
"Watch your mouth! I don't like what you're saying!"
"But it's true!" she retorted.
The old man coughed, clearly affected by Azaria's response. It seemed she had lost respect for him.
"Keep your mouth shut, or you'll face the consequences!" the old man threatened.
"I never wanted to marry your adoptive son! My life became more miserable when I agreed to your wishes! Damn it! I wouldn't be in this situation if you let me handle the company!"
"You can't handle any business because you don't know how to manage! It's fortunate that your parents handed over the company to Lanvin, look at what happened? Your family's company comes second."
"Why did they entrust it to him? He's not even their real child! And besides, I've heard that Lanvin is already in control of all the businesses of this family. And why do you love that man so much more than me?!"
"There are things you don't understand and don't know. You have a lot to learn, so mind your words."
"Then tell me what I don't know! And by the way, you promised to give me shares. Give them to me now!" Chandria shouted.
Grandpa took a deep breath.
"Your husband will be the one to give you those shares."
What? Why should they come from that man?
"Why him again?! I'll take the shares you promised me in exchange for marrying that man. Give them to me now!" she yelled, her anger almost consuming the old man.
What does that man have to do with it, and why does everything have to go through him?
"Marites! Marites, keep this person away from me! My blood is boiling because of her!" the old man called for the household staff again.
"Sir!" Marites hurriedly approached them.
"Where is Lanvin Nikolai?! Tell him to hurry up!" The old man ordered angrily.
Azaria could only cry as her grandpa got angry and left her behind. How would she pick herself up now? No one wanted to help her; everyone saw her as a scammer. She felt frustrated and pressured. Everyone was judging her for something that wasn't even true. She wasn't a scammer.
Why was she raised to be so envious?
"Lanvin! Grandson, it's been a while since I last saw you. Why did you only visit now?" Azaria heard her grandma's voice from the garden.
She looked through the window glass from the garden upon hearing Nikolai greet his grandmother and bow to her.
