Lily was still confused and said, "So you're telling me that she was after you all along?"

Daniel just nodded his head and looked at the window. He didn't know if he would be alive tomorrow because he knew all those people knew his moves.

In Daniel's mind, he was already sorry to Lily for dragging her into this, but he didn't have a choice.

Daniel looked at Lily and said, "She planned this all along, and she wasn't alone."

LilyLilyLily was stunned by what Daniel said and was lost for words.

Lily just nodded even though she felt the pressure on her body and she couldn't calm down, and Daniel continued, "We are known for being successful, not only here but also in other countries."

Daniel went in to hug Lily with all of the guilt he felt after all those years, and as they were hugging, Daniel suddenly felt his dead wife's presence and smiled and said, "Remember that I don't want to allow you to visit your mother as a respect for your new mother? I've done that to not push his buttons."

"But do you want to visit her now?" Daniel got a piece of paper in his pocket and gave Lily the paper with the address where his wake was buried.

Lily just smiled and said, "Thank you, dad."

They were both silent with a faint smile on their faces, and Lily just looked at the piece of paper and said, "Thank you for telling me everything. Now that I know everything. Please don't be guilty about it, because I understand."

"Let's go, and let's eat, dad. I'm hungry too."

Lily said while wiping her tears, and Daniel stopped her by holding her hand and guiding her to sit down.

Daniel just looked at Lily, and he lifted his shirt and got the envelope that was stuck in his pants and said, "This is a document that says you are the heir of the company. I won't let it just go and be on her palm, because your mother worked hard for it."

Lily was shocked and said, "I don't know what to feel...."

Daniel said, "Please, as I decided to handle it sooner, so when the time has come for me to join your mother, you will be ready."
