Chapter 48: Chapter 48

That one VIP room was filled with the most dashing girls. And the waiters were stunned, looking at the two ladies who were having a drink inside. The main reason why the waiters weren't coming back from the kitchen was making Dafne feel furious.

"Hey! You aren't here to just stare at someone's door window!"

Dafne, who was approaching a swamp of boys gathered at the door, said

"Those trays aren't going to move themselves, so you might as well move them yourselves."

Dafne was so furious and the man ran like a dog as their owner came back with a stick to spank them.

The ever-curious Dafne looked in the mirror and couldn't believe that those ladies inside were in fact beautiful. That's how she was reminded.

"How is Lily? She never lets herself skip her work like this. "

Dafne frowned and shrugged her shoulders as she continued to walk away from the same door, and eventually she met Christian.

"Sir—"

Christian just walked past Dafne, and she was confused.

Unknowingly, she looked at where Christian was headed and saw that he entered the door where the girl was.

Dafne placed her hand on her waist and shook her head.

"Why did you want to meet me, by the way?" Princess asked after she sipped the wine that tasted bitter to her.

She knew Midzy for being the Lennox family's substitute bridge, but she also knew Midzy for being a self-centered prima donna type.

She would never agree to backstabbing Liam like this, but by the looks of it, that guy eventually introduced the woman she hates to one of Liam's important people, which is Emelda, when she learned that she swore to never ever step on the floors of that house again.

"Aren't we going to say, hi, hello, how are you, I'm okay, something like that?" Midzy asked.

But Princess just stared her down with a cold stare and never answered her again.

She didn't want her to befriend someone from the past who almost ruined her best friend's life.

"Gladly, Liam didn't agree to marry this kind of creep." she said to herself.

Midzy just leaned her back and crossed her legs, looking at Princess, who was sitting beside her, and said, "Is it true that Lily moved in with Liam?"

Princess, who was unbothered, just looked at her like she was already drunk, "Why are you asking me that? Shouldn't you know?"

"You're even faster than midnight."

Midzy's eyes sank as she darted Princess with her glare, but she sighed deeply and said, "Liam is just wasting time with her. He doesn't even know what she did even before meeting her."

After Midzy said that, Princess's eyes turned interested, and as Midzy was drinking her wine, a grin formed on her reddish lips.

"This girl is so down for Mr. Dawnson!" She thought to herself.

Midzy cleared her throat and leaned forward as if Princess, who was watching her every move, was more determined to hear what she was about to say.

"I'm sure you know that Liam said that he was the father of that child." Midzy was talking and sipping her wine at the same time.

Before she could speak again, she took a piece of tissue paper from the table and held it as she approached Princess's lips and wiped the wine stain that was left on the edge of Princess's lips.

which caught her off guard and she grabbed the tissue from Midzy's hand and then wiped it off herself.

"Oh, what if the child that Lily brought is really his son?" Princess said as she crossed her arms in front of her, regretting that she ever listened to this greedy girl.

"Believe me, he's not." Midzy's face turned ugly as she said this. That made Princess feel creeped out.

The music from the dance floor filled their room with noise, and none of them were talking; they were just enjoying the bond.

"Why are you so sure that it wasn't his?"

"Liam did say that it was his from the moment he saw that child." Princess said as she leaned her back,

"Did you see the kid? They look exactly the same." She added

"Why are you pursuing that it wasn't his?" Princess rolled her eyes at Midzy.

"If you really don't know anything, didn't you know that saying the wrong information might lead you to something you're not prepared for?" She added

Midzy just looked at her, and she was itching to tell Princess about everything she knew, as her eyes sank because of being sleepy.

"But do you want to know something interesting?" Midzy said, finding a perfect spot to Liam her body.

Princess just stared at her, unsure of what the girl might say, but her interest in what she was about to say was like a roller coaster ride as she entered this four-point room.

"She's my sister, and you know what's more interesting?" Midzy said and finished her wine in one gulp and threw the glass, which broke as soon as it touched the ground.

That created a deafening noise.

"That's why I know it's not Mr. Dawnson's son."

Midzy began to stand up and walk towards the door. Princess was just looking at Midzy through the reflection she had on the big dispLiamed picture.

"is because I sabotage my sister's fate before their wedding." Midzy said

Princess was so scared that it made her almost deaf that she didn't realize that Midzy was by her side.

Midzy licked Princess's ear. That made Princess's hand tremble, and Midzy whispered, "I hired someone to rape her."

Midzy left Princess's ear, but the deafening words she said were left there. Princess looked at her with horror.

"You're sick!"

"Right? Hahahahaha." Midzy said, and she decided to take a seat again.

"I was just jealous of how life was easy for her, straight A student, pretty; my Dad loves her and cherishes her; a perfect wedding with a perfect man."

Princess was just listening to her rant as her tongue was sort of held back for an unexplainable reason.

"If I were you, I know you'd do the same." Midzy paused, and the door opened, revealing Christian, who entered the room and went next to Midzy. As soon as Christian sat beside her, he kissed her neck.

"You like Mr. Liam Rain Dawnson, right?" Midzy said, and looked at Princess intensely.

"You wouldn't be here if you didn't."

Midzy just clicked her tongue as it appeared that she seemed to be talking to thin air.

"This is Christian Falcon. He's my friend."

"You can use him all you want."
