Chapter 43: Chapter 43

Lily looked at Emelda as she was walking away from them.

Steve was looking at her and decided to go and walk towards her mother.

Steve will be turning 5 by the coming month, and Lily doesn't want him to enter school at this age, but if she won't send him, her child will have a hard time.

"Mama, this is for you." Steve said giving Lily a paper

Lily was a bit surprised as she was spacing out because of the thought of Liam being Emelda's grandson.

She looked at it and saw that it was a flower and felt so touched.

Lily held Steve and placed him on her lap and said, "Nice job!" and filled Steve's little face with tons of tiny kisses.

Steve began to giggle, and with that sight, Emelda began to feel soft for an inexplicable reason before she entered her room.

"I made it with Mama Emelda," Steve said, and Lily was taken aback and ended up looking at Steve then her phone.

She looked at the message that she received from Jenny, and it was making her feel guilty, but Lily didn't know what to do, especially since it wasn't easy for her. What she went through

But because of the happenings, she forgot to call Justine and then got a bit worried about how she would pay her.

It was so embarrassing to just live here and not give like the food that she always does, even when she lived on the same roof as Christian.

"Mama, I miss Aunt Je."

Lily felt sorry as she looked at him with a huge amount of sympathy for him.

She didn't want that to happen, and she wasn't expecting it either, so she just looked at him. She decided to stand up to her feet.

Lily was about to hold Steve and went on ahead inside the room, and then, with a *ping*, her phone rang, and it was again from Jenny.

Jenny: [I have an idea about what has happened, but please meet me; I need to know.]

Lily sighed deeply, making Asnrem turn on her and look at her.

She hugged Steve hard as her mind was filled with possible thoughts on how to recruit Justine back and how to talk to Jenny without feeling comfortable.

Lily opened the door to their room as she was holding Steve and her heart was confused, torn between talking to her friend but that friend was someone who was dear to her, but her brother tarnished everything.

"Awww, I'm sorry, my baby." Lily said to Steve as she was looking at him.

She didn't notice that she was swaying Steve. For some unexpected reason, the little one fell asleep, and Lily didn't mind.

Being spaced out, she didn't realize that she was doing this.

Lily decided to open the door to Steve's room and lay him there.

The bed was too small for both of them, but Lily just looked at the little boy that was lying on his bed.

Lily opened the lamp that reflected the night sky onto the ceiling and it was beautiful.

Lily sat at the side of Steve's bed, tenderly looking at her son, thinking of everything that could possibly happen.

"What if your real father shows up?"

"Will I be able to forgive him?"

Lily felt some kind of range in her heart. She really does blame him for ruining her life, but she can never blame him for bringing such a wonderful child into the world.

But Lily knows that what Steve is now, she was the one who brought it to the world.

Lily was full of thoughts, and as she lay herself on the side of the bed, she didn't realize that she had fallen into the world of dreams.

The room was silent, and only the stars were the ones who guided Steve and Lily to the dreams of their souls.

"Stay or else they'll see you."

A topless man said to me, as I was below him,

"Who is this man?"

Lily knew she was dreaming, but it felt so real, and it was what happened three years ago.

Lily stayed silent and was looking at the man above her with a blurry face.

"They are gone now." the man said, leaving her body.

But Lily prevented him from going anywhere, and then, in a split second, they were... kissing.

Lily noticed this from a distance, and it happened in a split second; one minute she was under him, and the next she was standing.

She saw how Lily in that dream played a part, and Lily, who was looking from the side, began to cry.

It was really her fault after all. She was so lost and didn’t know how to act.

She didn’t know how she would feel about herself.

"No! Stop!"

Lily kept on running, but her destination was still there in the same spot, hearing herself having a good time, being the enabler of something that happened that she resents the most.

She felt a light tap on her cheeks and that brought her back to reality.

"Are you okay? You're sweating!"

Lily looked at the place where she was and saw that she was already in her room and Liam was beside her.

"What are you doing here? And what time is it? "

Liam just looked at her, "Are you really okay?"

"Bad dream?"

Lily just looked at him, and she left her post and sat on the edge of the bed.

Liam didn't sit next to her to give her space.

LilyLily looked at Liam, and the look in his eyes was filled with worriness, and she couldn't help but look at him.

"I probably didn't have the chance to say this to you, but before I had Steve, something happened."

Liam was just looking at her as he had been waiting for a long time to confess everything he already knew to her.

Liam just nodded his head towards her and said, "It's all right, I'll listen."

Lily took a deep breath because she knew that she had been holding it for a long time.

Lily looked at Liam and said, "Do you ever wonder how I got Steve?"

"Because when I told you, you weren't even surprised or anything."

Lily was chuckling, and Liam was just staring at her.

"Wow, he's pretty serious." Lily thought

"I don't remember what happened, but I know I was at the hotel." Lily said and looked at Liam.

"Not the one who went there to do something, not like that." Lily added, stammering.

"It's okay," Liam said.

Lily sighed and said, "I was there because I don't have a choice."

"I don't know how I got there, but there's one thing I knew."

Lily looked at Liam and what she said took him off.

Liam's face turned pale, and he didn't know how to react to what Lily said.

"I was raped by a man I was with that night."
