Chapter 27: Chapter 27
Lily chose to walk down the street as her last act before starting work. While she was walking, her mind was still on what she and Princess had talked about. Lily thought Princess wasn't wrong about what she said.
"All I asked is that you stay away from him, if there is nothing between the two of you." Princess said, while sipping her drink.
And Lily was just staring at her in disbelief at what Princess had said. Lily didn't know what to say to her. She was just lost for words.
"What?" Lily said
"That's all I asked of you, because you're making it hard for him." said Princess.
"Anyway, you're just wasting your time tailing him. Thanks for sparing me some of your time." Princess said with a smirk on her face as she placed her money on the table, leaving Lily behind.
Lily was again left dumbfounded, "making it hard?" Lily thought
"Isn't he the one pursuing me?" Lily said to herself in disbelief as she entered the restaurant locker room, placed her bag inside and changed into her uniform.
The scene before with that lady was like a typhoon that ruined Lily's house and brought trauma to her, but LilyLily shook her head and clasped both of her hands on either side of her face to remind her that she got this all day.
---
"Can you clean this mess?"
"Yes sir," Lily said as she picked up the broken beer bottles in front of the customer.
Lily told herself that it would not affect her, but her actions were saying otherwise. She decided to pick up the pieces of the bottle with her bare hand, carefully
"Why are you so slow? We've been waiting for our order for a while and you just dropped it off just like that?!" says a woman, clinging to a man who seems capable of life.
Out of panic, Lily just hurried to pick up the glass and decided to go out and let the cleaner do its job. She was holding the tray and felt dizzy from searching for the broken glass. Only a dim light was lit. She held her head with her right hand, and as she closed her eyes, she felt something was dripping down her nose.
She couldn't seem to notice what it was because the light was red on the dance floor, then the light went white, and Lily noticed that people were staring at her. She rushed to the kitchen and removed the blood from her hand, noticing that her hand was bleeding very badly.
She cleansed her face with water using her left hand, but her wounded hand still did not stop dripping.
"What happened to you?" Dafne asked.
And Lily just looked at her as if it wasn't too obvious that the blood was coming out of her hands.
Everyone inside the kitchen was looking at her and her hand until the first aid kit arrived.
Then Dafne came back with a chair, and Lily was just staring at her.
"Don't worry, I know how to just stay still because it hurts a lot." Dafne said to her
And Lily just decided to look away, and there was a huge cut on her index finger, and as Dafne was cleaning her, she couldn't help but move.
"Are you doing that on purpose? Cause that really hurts. " Lily said as she shut her eyes.
"Just stand still already, it'll be over. Just wait! Geez! "
"Just hurry. "
Lily was being impatient and caressed her forehead with one of her hands, thinking about what was happening to her because it wasn't like her at all.
"Where are you going?" Dafne asked Lily as she stood up after Dafne tied the bandage on her hand, as she did stop the hand from bleeding, but she was concerned enough to ask Lily to pick up the tray.
"To work," Lily said sparingly as she was holding the tray with a lot of support with her left hand and barely touching the tray with her right hand.
"Are you sure you don't want to go to the hospital? That looked deep. I can fill it up for you. " Dafne said, and Lily just smirked.
"If you are thinking that this will serve as a payment to your debt, don't even think twice because it won't be enough."
Lily said and left her behind while Dafne stomped her feet in frustration.
--
Liam was looking at the door and was waiting for a familiar face to serve his food. Princess was just staring at him in disbelief because it was their 3rd order of the day, but nothing was reduced to his first two orders.
"Are we going to order another one just so you can see her?" Princess asked Liam, who was pretty annoyed.
"What is it to you? What if I decided to buy everything here just so I could see her?" Liam said to her
which caught Princess red-handed. She didn't know how to react, but she decided to stand up because there was no point in staying if they had just entered the room and he hadn't said a single word.
"Let's just leave like this." said Princess.
"Sure, you can leave now. I'll just hang around here." said Liam, while looking at the circle of glass on the door. His chest was crossed in front of his chest and his leg was placed on top of the other.
Princess just rolled her eyes and thought, "What does that bitch have for Liam to be like that or act like that?"
Liam did notice her leave and looked at the spot where Princess was sitting and noticed that he had left her phone. He chased it to give it back, but he saw Princess just stopped in the hallway as if he saw a ghost.
"You forgot your..."
Liam didn't finish what he was about to say and looked at where Princess was looking at and saw Lily with Christian holding her hand.
"Are they a thing?" Princess gasped, and Liam's blood rushed up to his head, and he decided to take a step closer.
"What are you doing? Don't you know they're doing something? " Princess said while she shook her head in disbelief as she clutched her hand in Liam's arms.
"That's why she didn't serve you anything; she's busy dealing with someone right now." Princess said, and Liam was just looking at them intensely as he was being dragged by Princess to walk back inside helplessly.
