Chapter 7: Chapter 7

Halima’s POV

I felt really bad for Sophie. She made just one mistake and she was going to suffer for a lifetime for that one mistake. I went to beg my parents to please intervene and attempt to convince Aunty Fauzzy to reduce the punishment.

Aunty Fauzzy is known for being strict but she was just being unfair. Since my dad was Aunty Fauzzy’s immediate elder brother, they are quite close. He called Aunty Fauzzy to the dining room and closed the door. They talked for what seemed like hours and when they finally came out, my dad gave me a satisfied look which made me relax.

We were waiting in the parlor when they all came in from the dining at once and told us all to sit down. After a long sermon and quoting of Ayyats from the Holy Qur’an and some Hadiths, Fauzzy was forgiven with one punishment which was that her school would be changed back to Glisten and she would be in Jss3. She agreed.

Her mom said we should bid her farewell cause her phone would be siezed for a month and she would be grounded during that month. Lastly,  no one would be allowed to see her till after a month.

We bid her farewell and they left which meant that was it.
