Kira's pov

Should I trust him in this? Is he going to do anything to me?

I looked up at his face and saw sincerity in his eyes. Then, I nodded.

"That man coming is kinda a flirt just stay close." Daniel pointed to the man coming. He was wearinf a blue suit and black trouser.

"Buddy is here." The man gave Daniel a handshake before turning to me. I noticed he was staring at the way I held Daniel's shirt, I quickly removed my hand.

"Calm down, no one is going to take away your man." He cooed and tried to touch me.

Daniel held his hand and dropped it down gently. "She hates men touching her apart from me."

"Really? Thats weird. She's really loyal."

"Zack, can we sign the contract now?" Daniel asked.

"Hmmm.....let's see. Come with me." Zack replied, his eyes still not leaving me and I was feeling uncomfortable.

"Don't worry, we will sign this and go back home." Daniel whispered into my ear and I felt a spark.

Okay, I think that was sudden.

We followed Zack to a room that looked like an office. He sat down on a swivel while we sat opposite him.

He brought out some documents and placed it on the table.

"So, the last deal is accomplished. That's by bringing a date. Cross check before signing it."

Daniel took a pen and cross checked before signing the papers. He returned them while zack nodded and gave Daniel a handshake again.

"We are partners. The $130 million will be sent to your account before you go."

"Just send it now, we are going already. My date is not the party type." Daniel rushed his words.

"Wait! You two aren't dating?" Zack arched his brows, licking his lips.

I don't know why those brown eyes won't leave my body.

"We are lovers. Yeah, we are dating. Daniel, can we go please?" I feighed a pout.

I don't want men following me around. That's why I said that. Especially, Zack.

"Ah! Okay. Nice to meet you, Miss." Zack smiled at him but I just eyed him and left the room.

Daniel joined me in the corridor and stopped in front of me.

"Kira, I'm sorry if you're feeling uncomfortable because of him. I told you he's a flirt."

"I know and I can see that. Don't try making me your date again. I hate it when men stare at me too much or try to touch me." I answered, sarcastically.

"I caused it." He said almost in a whisper but I was able to hear it.

"I didn't blame you. So stop. Let's just go home."

Immediately we got outside the building, I felt relaxed. Before, I was scared even when I tried to act calm.

We hit the road and soon, we got home. I was so eager to see my children.

"Wow! They are asleep!" I exclaimed when I saw them sleeping with Amanda beside them.

"I guess they must be tired of waiting for me."

"I don't think so. Cause we didn't even spend more than two hours." Daniel said.

I smiled and covered the duvet on their body.

"Amanda!" Daniel Called, trying to wale his sister up.

"You don't have to wake her up. The bed is big enough for us. You can come take her tomorrow." I frowned.

"I have to. She's going back to school early tomorrow and she really need to get prepared before then."

"Oh" I mouthed.

I walked close to amanda and tapped her. "We are back, Amanda!" I whispered.

She opened her eyes slowly before turning. Then, she sat up with her eyes widely opened.

"You're back so fast?" She creased.

"Yep, we are. Kira doesn't want to stay long at the party." Daniel stated.

He walked close to the kids and kissed them on their forehead before telling me good night and left with Amanda.

"Argh! I can't believe you slept without mommy" I pouted. Then, I lay beside them.

I thought of how tomorrow is going to be. I can't just stay here. I need to find a house. Some of my properties are still in that house.

Soon, I slept off after much thinking.

Next morning which was Saturday, I woke up so early. The twins are still sleeping.

My phone rang immediately and i picked it.

"Emily, good morning." I yawned.

"Good morning, that old man sent you out of his house. Anyway, where are you now?"

"Classic hotel. I will be out soon to go look for a house. Just that, I can't leave this kids alone." My eyes darted to the clock.

7:12am.

"I should have come but I'm busy right now."

"It's okay, I will just find a way."

I took my bath and the twins' They'd be staying here in the hotel while I look for a house.

"Mom will be leaving now, don't leave this room, okay?" I told them after changing the channel to a cartoon.

"Okay, mom. Don't be late." Ryan waved his hands.

I got outside the room and walked to the reception.

"Ma'am your hotel fee will expired tonight." A staff said.

"I know. We will leave soon."

Just as a got outside, I saw Daniel's car parked in the garage and he came out. He's not going to work today?

He saw me and beamed. "Kira, I found a house for you." He rushed his words. He was nervous.

"Why did you get me a house?" I folded my hands.

"Hmm.....I didn't do that because of you. But the children. They are my responsibilities." He stated, pushing his hair back but it fell to his face again.

"I don't want the house." I retorted and tried to walk away but he drew me back.

"Kira, don't be stubborn. I said I'm doing this for that kids. I have rights to take care of them and help them live a good and comfortable life.

If you go out now, for how long are you going to find a house today?"

"How did you find a house for us? You've been expecting us to get kicked out?" I asked.

"No, I wasn't. Just that, I was able to contact my friend. He was able to see a house for rent. I already checked it this morning, it's small but beautiful." He answered.

"You woke up early to go check the house?" I scoffed. "Fine! I will just accept that for the sake of the twins." I breathed out.

He smiled and walked into the hotel to take the kids.

"Dad, you're looking so handsome. Don't let anyone touch you apart from my mom today." Ryan warned.

"Sure, man. I won't." Daniel chuckled.

We took the needed into the car and made our way to the house.

"Your things are in the house already." Daniel blurted and snapped my head at him.

"Huh? Why? I didn't ask you to do that for me!"

"I know. I knew you will agree living in the house. So, I made everything ready." He responded.

"Thanks, anyway."

Finally, we got to the house. It was indeed beautiful and small.

"Thank you, daddy." The twins squeaked and ran inside.

"I will be going. I have something else to attend." Daniel spoke and entered his car in a hurry after receiving a call.

I entered the house. Jeez! I won't deny, it's magnificent.

Few hours of staying in the house, someone knocked on the door.

Ryan ran to the door and yelled, "Mom, we have a masquerade here."

A masquerade? Why will there be a masquerade here?

I walked to the door and saw him.

"What the f*ck are you doing here, Zack? How did you know this place?" I chided.
