Chapter 79: Chapter 79

Sierra pov.

I stood frozen in place, unable to move, as I caught sight of her seated there, her eyes fixed on me. What did she want? Was something wrong?

She gracefully rose from the bed and made her way toward me, her every movement captivating my attention.

"I can see that my Alpha is quite intrigued by you. By the way, what are your plans for coming here?" she inquired, her voice carrying a hint of menace, as though she could annihilate me with just a glance.

Feeling overwhelmed, I averted my gaze, unsure of how to respond. Why was she asking such a question?

At a loss for words, I remained silent, incapable of formulating a suitable answer. I had no plans for coming here; all I yearned for was freedom and a chance to live a different life.

Looking back up at her, I could sense her impatience, the disapproval evident in her demeanor. It seemed clear that she harbored no fondness for me.

"Sorry, Luna, but I have no plans," I stammered, a tinge of fear betraying my eyes.

She stood there, gazing at me, and before I knew it, she drew closer, gripping my hands with an intense force.

"I couldn't care less whether you have a plan or not, but mark my words: do not dare come near me or my Alpha. If you do, I will turn your life into a living hell," she threatened, flinging a dress in my direction before turning and striding away.

Stunned and uncertain, I stood there, at a loss for what to do or say. Why did everyone I encounter despise me? What had I done to deserve such treatment?

I gingerly put on the dress, surprised to find that it matched my own size perfectly.

Taking a seat on the bed, I surveyed the room once more, marveling at its grandeur. It far surpassed the modest quarters I had known in the Lycan pack. This place was truly astonishing.

After some time, boredom set in, and I rose to my feet, making my way towards the door. However, before turning the handle, I took a deep breath, bracing myself for what lay beyond.

As I stepped into the hallway of the castle, my eyes darted around, captivated by the sheer vastness of the pack. I couldn't help but wonder if I might find better companionship here.

Continuing to wander aimlessly, I felt utterly lost, unsure of what to do or where to go. Eventually, fatigue overcame me, and I came to a halt, praying that I hadn't strayed too far from where I should be.

"What are you doing here?" I heard a voice behind me, and I turned around to see Dean looking at me.

I was immediately captivated by his presence. He stood there, shirtless, and his physique was nothing short of impressive. My shyness took hold, and I quickly averted my gaze. However, I couldn't help but notice as he slowly walked over to where I was.

"I see you're enjoying yourself here, and I'm glad the dress was just your size," he remarked, his voice carrying a hint of amusement.

I mustered the courage to look up at him, and our eyes met. I wanted to smile, but the memory of Linda's words held me back. I turned away, ready to walk away, when suddenly he reached out, holding my hands and stopping me in my tracks.

"Are you okay?" he asked, concern evident in his voice. I couldn't bring myself to meet his gaze, unsure if I should confide in him about Linda's words.

"No, it's fine. There's nothing wrong. I'm just surprised that you would bring me into your castle. I wasn't expecting it at all," I replied, attempting to mask my true feelings.

He chuckled, his laughter comforting, and then moved closer to me. In an instant, I instinctively took a step back.

"I think it's best I stay alone for now. I'm not feeling too strong because of my condition, and I hope you could give me the chance to be left alone," I explained, my voice filled with a sense of vulnerability.

I walked away, leaving him standing there, as I couldn't help but feel a pang of pain deep within me. I didn't know where I was going; I simply walked, desperate to put some distance between us. I didn't want Linda to come and utter hurtful words to me.

After a while, I found myself walking out of the castle and into a picturesque field. The beauty of the surroundings took me by surprise, and without thinking, I walked over to a cluster of flowers and sat down, mesmerized by their vibrant colors.

"I guess you really like flowers," a familiar voice interrupted my solitude.

I turned around only to see Dean once again, now wearing his shirt.

"Yeah, I love your garden. It's beautiful," I replied, genuine admiration in my voice.

He walked over to where I was and stood in front of me, his gaze locked with mine for a moment.

"You don't seem yourself. Ever since you saw Linda, you've been acting different. Did she say anything hurtful to you?" he inquired, his concern etched on his face.

I stood there, unable to find the words. I grew fearful, thinking that revealing the truth might cause trouble for him and his Luna, and I desperately wanted to avoid that.

"No, she's fine. She didn't say anything hurtful. It's okay," I replied, avoiding eye contact.

The way he looked at me made it seem as if he was waiting for me to say something more. As he moved closer, I felt my body trembling, and a sense of fear washed over me.

He gently placed his hands on my face, his fingers gently running through my hair as he continued to stare at me intently.

"I promise you that I'll help you raise your child. If anyone troubles you, just let me know," he said, his voice filled with sincerity.

I still couldn't find the words to respond. I could only look at him as he gazed into my eyes. I couldn't comprehend why my heart was racing, but for a moment, I silently prayed for it to calm down.

Then, unexpectedly, his face drew closer to mine, and I instinctively closed
