Chapter 67: Chapter 67

Alex pov.

The way he stared at me, and how he walked out of the castle left me wanting to thrust a stick into his eyes.

How dare he come in here and spew nonsense! I couldn't care less if Sierra is pregnant or not, but one thing is certain—I will ensure she never sets foot in this castle.

I observed William, who wore a rather concerned expression, and couldn't help but smile at his foolishness. He should be grateful that he married me, yet he still loves her.

Upon witnessing him enter his office, I positioned myself by the door, scheming on how to make him mine and mine alone.

I stepped into the office, but no matter what I tried, he kept pushing me away, and that infuriated me the most.

Returning to my room, I seethed with anger as I sat on the bed.

Ever since I became the Luna, I thought my life would be easy, but it isn't. He still continues to obsess over that wretched Sierra. "Oh, how I wish I could just put an end to her once and for all."

I paced around my room, contemplating my next move and ensuring that this time, I would have William all to myself. Not even Sierra would be able to stop me.

Just as I was about to grasp the doorknob, the commotion from William's office caught my attention. I discreetly opened my door a crack and peered outside, only to see him leaving his office.

"Where is he headed now?" I wondered, stepping out of my room and secretly following behind him.

I watched as he departed the castle with anger, and with a smile on my face, I did the same.

As I observed him entering the dense woods, a palpable fear emanated from his trembling form, his voice echoing with desperate shouts of Sierra's name. A sly smile danced upon my lips, for it was Sierra who had orchestrated this spectacle.

"Call her whenever you wish, Alpha, but rest assured, no one shall find her," I declared, my confidence brimming.

With a satisfied grin, I turned away, retracing my steps back to the castle. As I made my way towards the kitchen, the maids, their eyes filled with trepidation, all bowed before me.

"Leave," I commanded, and like startled birds, they scattered, their anxiety palpable in the air. A smile played upon my features, relishing the control I exerted.

This time, I vowed to ensure that the offspring growing within my womb would bear William's name. Though my first child had met an unfortunate demise, it ultimately served a purpose, as the truth would remain concealed.

Having completed my culinary duties, a devious grin adorned my face as I retrieved a vial of sleeping draught secreted within my garments. Carefully, I poured the potion into the meal, ensuring its potency.

Clutching the food in my hands, I gazed out the window and noticed the encroaching darkness. With a purposeful stride, I ventured towards his office, delicately setting down the nourishment before settling into a chair.

Thirty minutes passed, yet he had not arrived. An idea materialized in my mind, compelling me to act. Perhaps I could seduce him and ensnare him in my web.

Exiting the office, I retreated to my quarters, indulging in a brief shower before donning a short, scarlet dress. Standing before the mirror, I appraised my transformed appearance. A self-satisfied smile curved my lips.

"This time, Alpha, you shall be the one beseeching me for affection," I murmured with confidence.

Emerging from my sanctuary, I traversed the path back to the office, anticipation thrumming through my veins. I pondered how long he would persist in his search for Sierra. Soon enough, the door swung open, revealing his presence as he sank into his designated chair. Curiously, he failed to detect my presence. My smile widened, signaling that the time had come to make my move.

I picked up the food and slowly walked towards him, my voice gentle as I spoke, "Are you hungry?"

I could see how his eyes quickly opened, turning to look at me as if it was the first time he had ever seen me. A smile formed on my face, knowing that my plan was already in motion. Moving closer, I set the food down on his table and placed my hands on his shoulders. Surprisingly, he didn't push me away but continued to gaze at me.

"I made you dinner. I hope you like it," I said softly.

Before I knew it, he pushed me away, and I looked at him, a hint of anger in my eyes. "What do you want?" he asked, but I decided to maintain my composure and simply stared back at him.

"I made you dinner because you are my husband," I responded.

He continued to look at me, then glanced back at the food. Without uttering a word, he began eating, and that alone brought a smile to my face.

I waited patiently until he finished the entire meal and pushed it towards me. "Here, have it. Are you happy now?"

I smiled and nodded, still fixated on him. Soon, the drugs would start taking effect, and then I would make my move.

I noticed his eyes starting to close, and once again, I sat on his lap and looked at him. "Are you okay?"

He gazed at me and kept looking, before finally uttering, "You look beautiful, Sierra."

I wanted to become angry, but instead, I smiled, knowing that the drugs were already working. "Come, Alpha, let me take you to our room," I said.

I stood up, helping him to his feet, and guided him out of the office and into his room. Pushing him down onto the bed, I looked at him, a smirk on my face.

"Since you won't sleep with me the easy way, Alpha, let's do it the hard way then."

I walked towards him on the bed, starting to remove his shirt and clothes.

"This time, Alpha, I will carry your real baby, and I will be the one to give you a child."

I took off my dress, anticipation building as I knew this was the moment I had been waiting for.
