Storm POV

After Bea and I talked, we immediately went to Uncle's house, I knew that they were waiting for us, luckily Chase didn't ask anymore because he was busy playing. When we arrived one of the maids immediately told us where they were.

Bea is sitting next to me while Nigel is in front of me with his parents also next to him. They let one of their maids take care of Chase first so the boy wouldn't get involved in the conversation.

"So Nigel, what happened to you and Kiara?" Uncle Dark asked.

"W-we broke up Dad, as Storm said earlier, a few years ago," he answered while bowing.

"What? How did it happen? Why didn't we know about this Nigel?" Aunt Calliyah exclaimed in disbelief.

"We have a misunderstanding Mom," he answered.

"And? How did you abandon your son?" There was anger in their uncle's voice.

"I-I didn't know, I didn't know that Kiara is pregnant. She didn't tell me,"

"You won't know that my sister is pregnant because you were so close-minded! She tried to tell you but you didn't listen to her. You pushed Kiara away!" I said angrily.

"What do you mean Storm?" Aunt asked me.

"Kiara tried to talk to him, but your son's mind is too closed. They had a misunderstanding and Nigel cut off everything between them, he didn't give my sister a chance to explain, he said that the marriage will not go ahead. My sister did everything just to get them together but Nigel doesn't want it that's why. I know how my sister begged him and as a brother it hurts me to see my sister chasing and begging." I said emphatically.

"It's not that I don't want to listen to her, Storm! I said I'm not ready yet, I don't want to force her to talk and I'll just hurt her ." Nigel's defense.

"You hurt her already, not just once but many times. So don't say that she didn't tell you about the pregnancy because Kiara did everything to let you know, you just put yourself first instead of listening to her. Remember what you did to her? You pushed my sister away! I'm so mad at you Nigel if only you knew, you don't know what Kiara went through!" No matter how hard I try to calm myself down, I can't do it because I can't pretend that I'm not mad at him.

"I know the mistake I made. I did everything to find her but everything I paid for didn't give me good news either. I'm s-sorry for what I did Storm, you know how much I love Kiara, everything wasn't easy for me because I didn't want to hurt her, she wasn't the only one who had a hard time, it was me too,"

"I am the reason why you can't have a piece of good news, I know everything so I block it all and you can't blame me because I just wanted to protect my sister. I will not allow you to see her so soon after what you have done to her. I will not give or leave my sister to you for the second time." I said.

"W-where is she?" He asked.

I immediately looked away from them, not knowing how to answer his question. I felt Bea holding my hand to calm me down.

"Storm," I heard Uncle Dark call my name.

"Tell us Storm, where is Kiara?" Aunt Calli asked again.

"S-she.. she is not here," I answered weakly.

"Is she in another country? When is she coming home?" Aunt Calli asked again.

"I don't know," after saying that I bow down.

"How come you don't know, Storm? That's your sister! I know you hate me but maybe my parents have the right to know where Kiara is, right?" Nigel said annoyed so I looked at him badly. Did he think it was easy for me to talk about my sister?

"Don't act as if you are concerned with my sister because I know you're not! I respect Aunt Calli and Uncle Dark, do you think everything is easy for me? Do you think it's easy for me to talk about Kiara? No Nigel! Because every time Kiara's name is mentioned it hurts me! You don't know anything so don't judge me like I'm hiding my sister!" I said emphatically.

"Stop! Sit down, Nigel! Let Storm talk." Uncle Dark exclaimed seriously so Nigel immediately followed.

"Tell me Storm, where is Kiara?" Uncle asked seriously.

I closed my eyes tightly as tears welled up in my eyes. "S-she is.. she is in rehab,"

"Oh my gosh!" Aunt Calli loudly exclaimed after answering Uncle's question, I expected this to be their reaction when they found out.

"A-are you joking right?" Nigel asked me in disbelief.

"Do you think I am joking?" I said.

"H-how? W-what happened?" the uncle asked.

I tell them what has happened since Nigel and my sister broke up. Until she found out she was pregnant, including giving birth and having post-traumatic stress disorder. I also told them that Kiara tried to commit suicide for so many times.

"W-what made Kiara traumatized?" I can feel that Aunt Calli is struggling but I am now here in front of them and they have the right to know everything.

And because of that question, everything came back to me again, since I knew the truth, tears rolled down my eyes. "S-she was h-harassed," I struggled. "My sister almost got raped the day he went to Nigel's condo to tell about the pregnancy," I added and Aunt started crying so Unle quickly hugged her.

I looked at Nigel and he was just bending but I knew he was crying because of the movement of his shoulder, maybe he couldn't handle what he found out. I know how much he loves my sister.

"I- I didn't leave her for this, I-i didn't leave her to suffer like this," he whispered.

We talked for a while and then we said our goodbyes. "Aunt, Uncle, we will go first. You can visit or borrow Chase while we're here. I won't hold a grudge against my nephew because it's your right to meet him." I said and walked to where Chase was to get him, Bea followed immediately.

But before we got into the car, I heard Nigel's voice. "S-storm, can I hold my son for just a moment?" He asked. I sighed and then nodded.

"Chase," I called my nephew.

"Yes, Papa?"

"Come here first," he immediately got out of the car and Nigel hugged him quickly, the boy was surprised but in the end, he hugged him back.

"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry, Chase." He whispers to his child.
