Chapter 91: Chapter 91

Storm POV

I wiped Chase's face after he finished eating, so we could leave immediately. Because I promised him that I would buy him the toys he wanted, so when he woke up, he didn't stop until we didn't leave. He always buys books rather than toys.

We were about to leave the restaurant when I saw Bea walking towards our place. She was not able to join us earlier because she and her mother went somewhere. We are here in the Philippines right now because I had an important party to go to, so even if I don't want to go home, I have no choice, but we won't be here for long because we have to go back to Kiara, she will be discharged.

"Aunt Bea!" Chase shouted energetically and immediately ran to her.

"Chase, be careful and stop running!" I shouted.

"Hello baby, I'm sorry Tita is late because I need to accompany my mom first," she said to my nephew.

"Shouldn't you be informing me and not him?" I said before kissing her.

"Papa is jealous of Aunt," Chase said, so Bea and I just laughed.

"What happened," I asked her. I notice how often they leave, but what Bea always tells me is that they only take care of something.

"We have already finished what we need to do," she answered.

"You look pale, are you sure you're okay?" I asked her.

She smiled at me. "I'm fine, I'm just tired and then you know I rushed to get here and you might sulk,"

I just shook my head at what she said and we started walking around until we entered the department store. I dropped Chase off so he could choose what he wanted to buy while we just followed him.

"He was just a baby before but now he's grown up," Bea suddenly said.

"And he will be a headache to his mom soon," I said while laughing.

"An update about Kiara?"

"Zam told me she'll be discharged when we get back. She's doing well." I said.

"She's a brave woman,"

"Indeed, she proved to me that she can do it. That even when she's in a dark place she can come out, just like what happened to me before." I said.

"I'm so proud of you two. You two did a great fight,"

"Thank you, for always being there for us, baby." I stuttered with a smile.

"I should be the one to thank you because you helped me a lot and you loved me wholeheartedly. And of course, also Kiara because she is the reason for all of this, I wouldn't be in your life if it wasn't for her,"

I looked at Chase's place and noticed that he wasn't there anymore so Bea and I looked at each other and quickly looked for him.

Until we ran into the toys and I saw him talking to someone. I suddenly froze when I noticed who he was talking to. Nervousness engulfed my whole system, I was not prepared for this thing and Bea seemed to notice it so she quickly grabbed my hand, and we slowly walked toward them.

"Papa, Aunt," Chase called us when he saw me. Aunt Calliyah and Uncle Dark quickly looked at me as if there was a question in their eyes, I'm sure something was forming in their mind because Chase looks like their son.

"Storm, Bea." They greeted us.

"Hello." Bea greeted them both.

"Auntie, Uncle," I said and kissed their cheeks and approached Chase.

"Where did you go? Didn't I tell you not to go too far or you might get lost." Isid to my nephew.

"I'm sorry Papa, I saw some toys so I checked it,"

"Next time tell me where you wanted to go, alright? " I said and then he nodded while smiling.

"When did you come back? You don't even visit us." Aunt Calliyah's voice showed sullenness.

"Aunt, I just got home the other day," I answered her while Uncle Dark just stared at Chase.

"He's not your son right?" he said just enough for me to hear. I was about to answer when the person I didn't expect to see today suddenly arrived.

"Mom, Dad what's taking you so long." He said.

"S-storm," he greeted me and I just nodded.

"Papa, who is he? Who are they?" Chase asked me.

I bent down to match him. "This is Aunt Calliyah and Uncle Dark,  and this guy is Nigel, their son," I said.

"Why do we look alike, Papa? Is he my father?" my eyes widened because of what he said.

Bea approached us and held Chase's hand. "Baby boy, have you picked out your toys? Come and we'll pay for it."She said and my nephew nodded so they left and went to the counter.

"Is there something you should tell us about Storm?" Uncle Dark asked.

"What is happening Nigel? Storm?" Aunt Calli was confused.

"It's a long story about Aunt and Uncle, and it seems like I can't hide the truth from you anymore because you've already seen Chase," I said.

"I-is he my ---,"

"Yes Nigel, he is Chase Cole Alcantara, your son. He and Kiara were the only ones you were able to abandon before." I said emphatically and angrily.

"What?" Aunt Calli said in shocked.

"You need to explain to us, Nigel." the anger in Uncle Dark's voice as he said that to his son.

"I thought you and Kiara's relationship was okay, but what is this Nigel?" Aunt Calli's voice was full of confusion.

"They broke up already, Aunt," I said.

"What?" Tita screamed because of what I said.

"This is not the right place for us to talk about that. Storm, can you go to our house so that we can talk there? We want to know everything." Uncle said and I just nodded.

"I'll just wait for them to come back, Bea," I said and they nodded.

They left us first and I went to the counter with the two of them. "They already left?" Bea asked me.

"We need to go to Uncle Dark's house," I said.

Bea smiled at me. "Are you nervous?"

"Nigel should be more nervous because his parents are mad. I didn't know that Aunt and Uncle didn't know what happened to Nigel and Kiara, I think he didn't tell them about it," I said.

"It looks like Nigel didn't want to let them know either, so maybe he didn't say it,"

"I-I'm not ready for this, I didn't expect to see them," I said.

"You can't tell them that Chase is your son because we know that he looks like Nigel and Uncle and Aunt are not stupid enough not to know that their son is the father of your nephew,"

"I know, I just didn't think this would happen today, I wish I hadn't brought Chase home," I said.

"Kiara will understand that, you can't lie to them,"

I just nodded, because I can't lie to them either, especially since they are my parent's friends. I was able to hide everything from them so maybe it's time for them to find out about Chase.
