Kiara POV

I just left the hospital because I visited Beatrice's mother and another one knows if she is there because she is not working at the company right now. To this day, I still can't stop laughing at his stories with me, it looks like my brother has found a match.

I can't blame my brother for why he is like that, I know that until now he is still mourning. He is still longing for their presence and I'm the same even though I haven't been with them for a long time, how much more can my brother do. He didn't even know if he was still hurt even now even though it was a few years ago.

He was okay somehow when he met Ate Kaye, I thought they would end up together but it turned out not because he chose to leave my sister. I witnessed how my brother's life became miserable when he and Ate Kaye broke up, but what I know now is that he is okay somehow.

When I left the hospital, I saw Nigel leaning against his car and it looked like he was waiting for me. He is my brother's best friend and he is also my fiance. Just now we met again after a few months when he stayed abroad for the business.

He smiled at me when he saw me so I ran to his place and hugged him tightly. It's been almost a few months that we haven't been okay because we both had a fight, which is why we broke up.

"How are you Princess?" he asked me when I let go of the hug, he's more used to calling me by my first name.

"I'm fine, when did you come?" I asked him.

"It must have been 3 days ago. I already visited your brother." he answered me.

I glared at him. "Brother knew you were here earlier than I did?"

He laughed. "He is still my best friend and one more thing I wanted to surprise you with so I didn't let you know I was going home." he explained.

"Alright." I promised and then he made me get into the car.

"Why are you here at the hospital? What are you doing here?" he asked me when we were in the car.

"I just visited Beatrice's mother." my short answer.

"Beatrice? Your brother's secretary?"

"Yes." I know.

"I didn't know you were so close to that girl."

"Because he is kind and I felt sorry for him when I found out if his mother was sick and do you know I also found out how many jobs he works every day just to provide for their needs and his mother's medicine." my story

"She is a hardworking woman, but don't trust too much especially in people you only know. I didn't say she was bad but you know the times now."

I nodded to him in agreement. "He's kind, that's why I didn't hesitate to help him because he doesn't want to accept money that he didn't work for and since there was no vacancy in the boutique, I recommended him to my brother since there was no secretary there." I said laughing.

"Storm did tell me that when I went to his office, but it seems your brother doesn't want to make him permanent either. And I also saw how he answered your brother with a warning."

"Hey, that's what Kuya told me too. He will still hire a new one soon. I've heard a lot that's why Kuya is getting more and more annoyed with him, it's a good thing he doesn't fire him." I promise.

"It looks like it's working fine that way, but we can't say because you know your brother's behavior."

"Actually." I answered.

We just went straight to the restaurant to eat lunch because what time is it anyway and then we went to his condo because we still need to talk deeply.

"Do you want a tea or juice?" he asked me when we entered his unit.

I shook my head. "I'm full." I answered, he nodded and said goodbye that he was just going to get dressed for a while.

After a few minutes, he came out wearing his home clothes and sat next to me. "So how's your life when I'm away?" he began.

"My life is fine, you know my brother is very protective." I answered laughing.

"That's not what I'm asking, I want the times to know that we're not okay. Don't lie to me Princess. It's not because we're not okay or we broke up that I won't know what you're doing." he is serious.

I swallowed one after the other. "I'm just bored so I'm just entertaining myself. I don't want to lock myself in the house." I answered weakly.

"But that's still no reason for you to blather on and fill the bar every day. What if something happens to you? Don't you think about how your brother and I will feel? Or are you just doing that to make me angry? " he was annoyed.

I bowed because I could feel his anger. "I know I was immature for doing that thing, because I was thinking that maybe if I did that thing, I would definitely be able to reach you through my brother." I agree.

"And? Did something good happen to you? That's why we're fighting because of that, you're not a child anymore Princess, it's not because you're rich that you're going to be a spoiled brat and you'll always follow what you want. That's why I let you go and didn't talk to you because I don't want you to get used to that."

"Yeah right, I know I did something wrong that's why you left me." I exclaimed weakly.

"You think I want that? I didn't leave you for nothing, I just want you to learn because you're old."

I just bowed and didn't say anything because I might cry. And he seemed to notice that because he held my hands.

"Babe, don't think that I dislike your behavior. All I want is for you to be mature in life because Storm will not be there for you forever, the time will come when your older brother will have his own family and that's it." You too. You must learn too. I'm not saying that you're immature or that you need to change, it's just that you must know your wants and priorities in life."

"You know I love you, I love you so much that's why I'm telling you all this. If you think it's easy for me to leave you during those times, it's not. I'm always in touch with Storm so I know what's going on yours." he added.
