Nigel POV

I'm here today in the company of my best friend Storm, I just came back yesterday from abroad because I was attending to something there. I stayed there for almost a few months and just now came home.

I was approaching his office when I saw the woman I didn't know, it looked like she was his new secretary, I approached her to ask if her boss was inside.

"Hi Miss." I congratulate you.

He looked up at me. "Good morning Sir, do you need anything?" he asked politely.

"Is your boss here?"

He nodded. "He's inside, do you have an appointment with him?"

I shook my head. "I'm his best friend." I introduced him.

"Oh, I see, I'm sorry, I'm new so I don't know you. Just go inside and he'll be there."

I just smiled at him and went straight inside. I caught up with Storm who was sitting in front while focusing on her phone.

"It seems that the CEO of Alcantara is not busy right now." I said laughing.

It looked at me. "Gago! When did you come?" he asked.

"Just yesterday." my short answer.

"Did my sister know that you are already here?"

I shook my head. "I haven't told her yet but I will visit her." my answer.

"What's your plan now Nigel? You know how precious my sister is to me and you don't want her to be hurt. I know what happened to the both of you, if you don't intend to take my sister seriously just leave her alone." he is serious.

"Who said that I'm not serious to her? You know how much I love her right? And I know how much you protect your sister and I also don't want to ruin our friendship." I explained to him.

"So you broke up?" he promised sarcastically.

"That's why I'm here because I'm going to fix our problem." I answered him.

"Damn you! Do you know what happened to my brother during the times when your relationship was not good?" There was anger in his voice.

I sighed. “I know I'm wrong Storm, so please let me fix it. I don't like what happened to him." I'm serious.

"Just be sure about it Nigel."

"Yes, you look like a fool! We broke up but I have no plans to make up with him." I know. "Anyway, your secretary is new again? She doesn't know me." I asked him.

"Yes she is, Kiara recommended her."

My eyes widened. "Really? It's a miracle that he agrees with you." I said laughing.

"If it's just me, I don't want it, but my sister is too naughty. Imagine she is not a college graduate and then she joined the company as my secretary."

Storm's face showed annoyance as he told me about that house.

"He seems kind and hardworking." I know.

"She should, I already told her that if she doesn't fix her work, I can fire her anytime even if it's my brother who admitted her. And another thing I already cleared to her is that it can only be given to her temporarily, I don't want her to be my secretary for a long time. And as for what you say is nice? She's not like that!"

I adjusted my seat. This is interesting! "Why? If he works well, why do you need to find someone else? And another thing, how did you say he's not nice?"

"Still no Nigel. You know my policy with those who become my secretaries. He's irritating, he always gives me answers."

And then I burst out laughing. "Really? Should I congratulate her?" I'm still annoyed.

He frowned. "What do you mean?"

"It looks like you've found your counterpart, as far as I know you don't want to answer, so no one is staying with your secretary, but now? It's a miracle that she's still here." I said

"Her work is okay and I don't have any problems so she's still here and it's also fun to annoy her sometimes." he grinned.

"Hmmm, maybe that will be different later."

"Fuck you!" he snorted at me.

Later the door opened and his secretary entered. "This is your snack, Sir." it said and placed the bag on the table facing us.

"Thank you, what's your name again?" I promised him.

"Beatrice." this is the answer.

"It's good and this coffee you brought is ready." Storm said as she looked at her secretary.

"What do you think I'm stupid?" the young woman answered him.

"Sort of." Storm replied.

"Jerk!" Beatrice shouted at him.

It grinned. "I know baby, so what are you waiting for? Go back to your work."

"I'll probably go back to my job, I'd rather be in front of the laptop than your ugly face."

"Excuse me?" Storm repeated.

"You're deaf now? It's clear that you're ugly!" it shouted and ran out.

I was restrained from laughing because my friend's face showed a lot of annoyance and irritation.

It looked at me. "You don't have to hold back your laughter because it might come out somewhere else." Storm promised me seriously and that's when I started laughing.

"Your new secretary is really different, do you think that she is not afraid to answer you and she told you that you are ugly? It seems that your charisma is not immune." I said laughing.

"And she's not my type of girl either, she's too talkative and cursing."

"She's interesting."

He stared at me intently." What are you saying?"

I immediately raised my two hands. "Chill, I won't trade Kiara, what I mean is I want to see how long you will be cat and dog as others say the more you hate the more you love." I explained.

"Whatever you have in mind, stop it because I will not like someone like her. There are many women there and she is not to my taste."

"Don't talk too much bro and maybe later you'll eat what you say. Sometimes the person you don't like is the one you'll still love." I promise.

"If she is her then it's okay."

"Don't tell me you are still in love with her? I thought you had moved on." I exclaimed.

"I've moved on a long time ago and I don't have feelings for him anymore."

I was relieved. "I thought there was more."

"I just set her as an example of my types of women.

I just nodded.
