Beatrice POV

My mind was still floating until Kiara left, I don't know why she told me that but I realized she had a point. She is just protecting her brother. I didn't think about that thing that could ruin Storm's reputation, maybe I was too focused on our relationship and my love for him.

Kiara didn't say that she doesn't want me for her brother, she just said that maybe it's not the right time for our relationship. I can see in her eyes that she also has a hard time saying that to me.

Maybe she was right, I needed to get away from Storm first for the sake of it. Their family is too high for someone like me. Maybe if we are meant for each other, fate will do that. Yes, I promised Storm that I won't leave him, but I won't allow his family's reputation to be ruined, especially his, just because of me.

When I got home, I quickly packed my things. I needed to get out of there for a while so Storm wouldn't see me. I know he will come here if I don't come into the office.

"Bea, are you leaving?" my mother asked me.

"Yes, I'm just going somewhere," I answered.

"Where? Are you with Storm?"

I shook my head. "I just have something important to attend to and when Storm asks, just say you don't know," I said.

I saw her frown. "Did you two fight? If yes, you should talk about it, Bea. Leaving is not a solution,"

"We didn't fight mom, I just have to take care of something and I'll be back." I smiled.

"Is that so? I thought you guys were fighting. Oh okay, when you're done with that, come downstairs so we can eat,"

I nodded and continued packing, I don't know if I made the right decision but if it's the best for everyone, especially Storm, I'll do it.

When we finished eating, I immediately said goodbye to mom and that I was leaving. She wouldn't have let me because it was late and the road was dangerous but I lied and said that I was leaving with someone so she shouldn't worry.

And now I'm walking because I can't find a taxi, I still don't know where I'm going because it's sudden when I leave and the truth is that I'm thinking twice about whether to continue or not. I can talk to Kiara about this and maybe she can help me too. I'm also worried about Storm's reaction.

I stopped walking first and then called Kiara.

"Hello Bea, why did you call?" she asked me.

"I need your help, Kia, I've been thinking and it looks like I can't leave your brother like that. I don't want to hurt him so I thought of something and I hope you can help me." I said.

I heard her sigh. "Alright, I will help you with whatever your plan is. Let's meet tomorrow." I immediately hung up.

I started walking again to find a taxi when suddenly I noticed a van passing by my side. I just took it for granted that it would have stopped, and then some men got out. I suddenly felt nervous for an unknown reason so I was about to turn around when I felt a man pulling me, I tried to scream but it was too late because someone covered me with a handkerchief and I lost consciousness.

Kiara POV

I've been waiting for Bea for an hour already but she didn't call me again, I tried to call her phone but it's turned off. I'm feeling nervous because of this. I also went to her house but her mother said she left and she didn't know where she went.

But Bea called me last night, I was thinking that maybe she planned to leave, and then she suddenly changed her mind so she called me and just asked for help. I suddenly felt scared and nervous, maybe nothing bad happened to her, right? I can't forgive myself if it happens because I started it all. I will be responsible to my brother if he finds out.

I also called an employee at the company to ask if Bea came in because I can't ask my brother. But I was told that she wasn't there so I got even more nervous.

"Hey, are you okay?" It's Nigel.

I looked at him. I forgot that I am with him now. "I'm just sleepy." I lied to him.

"Don't tell me you stayed up after we talked last night. I thought you were going to sleep,"

"Silly, I fell asleep after we talked. I'm just really sleepy." I said.

"You might as well rest first, you've already been at work for a few days,"

I smiled at him. "I'm just finishing this, babe, so I don't have to think about anything else. Don't you have work?" I asked him.

"The company can wait for me. Kidding! I just want to see you."

I raised my eyebrows. "We are together almost every day."

"Still I am missing you" then he hugged me.

"Awww my baby is so sweet," I said and hugged him too. I just hope nothing bad happens, until now I'm still thinking about what Kaye can do.
