Beatrice POV

It's been two weeks since I had a conversation with Storm in his unit until now I still can't forget what I found out about his life. I am impressed by his bravery and know that he played not only as an older brother to Kiara but also as a mother and a father. I can't imagine how hard it was for him to lose his parents, his sister was still a baby.

Now I understand why he is like that, the world made him feel so much pain and suffering. Until now he still carries the pain and dark past. When my father died, I almost went crazy. How could he be, who lost both of his parents, if that happened to me, I don't know what I could do anymore?

From the time he told me about his life until he was able to return to work, we got along well, he was kind to me somehow but it was still inevitable that he would be angry at times but I understood that.

And now I'm going back to my table because I just finished my lunch break. I also took out food to bring to Storm because he was inside his office and I know he hasn't had lunch yet.

When I got to the opposite door I opened it and saw him focused on his laptop so seriously that he didn't even look at me.

"Sir," I got his attention.

He looked up. "Yes? Do you need anything?" he asked me.

I immediately shook my head. "I brought you lunch," I said.

"I'm still full,"

I raised an eyebrow at him. "If you're not aware of the time, Sir, it's 1 pm and you've been focused on work. You know if you haven't eaten, it's bad to work on an empty stomach." I said and came to him to pull him.

"You're so stubborn,"

"You know that, so sit there and eat so you have the energy to work," I said.

He shook his head while laughing, but in the end, he stood up and walked over to the sofa to sit down.

I put the food I bought in front of him. "There you go eat. I'm going out because I still have a lot to finish, if you need anything else just tell me." I said and walked out.

When I got back to my table, I immediately went back to work. My boss has had a lot of meeting schedules these past few days. I can't blame them for why many people want to invest in Alcantara Company because it is one of the most successful companies today along with the company of his uncle.

While I was typing on my laptop, I was surprised when someone tapped me and I looked to see Kiara smiling at me.

"You were too focused on what you were doing and you didn't even notice me," she said and laughed.

"I'm sorry Ki, I was doing a lot of things so I didn't see you coming. When did you come back?" I asked her if she went to another country with her fiance, Sir Nigel.

"It's okay, I know you're busy. I just arrived a while ago and I rested at home for a while before coming here. Ahm, how was your visit with your brother last time? Didn't you get into a fight?" she asked.

I shook my head. "It's okay, we had a good conversation. I also apologized for what I said. I didn't know that your parents had been gone for a long time, so it's embarrassing that I said something about them. I'm sorry Ki, I'm really ashamed because of what happened." I said.

She smiled at me. "That's not a big deal to me, I know that you didn't do that on purpose because you don't know anything about our lives. My actions were just like that because I was just worried for my brother,"

"I understand you, I know you're just worried about Storm," I said.

"Did he say anything to you?"

I nodded. "He just told me about what happened with your parents." my answer.

"My brother is so brave to handle all the things that happened to us, that's why he's my superhero next to my father. I know that if there's anyone who is hurting more it's him especially when it's about Mom and Dad. Based on the story of our uncle and aunt, the death of our parents had a big impact on my brother, even if he was still young at that time, he already understood what was happening, he's a smart person,"

"By the way, you were still a baby when you lost your parents, weren't you? Your brother is amazing, maybe if that happened to another person or child, there would be trauma." I said.

I saw that Kiara smiled at me. "That's why I'm lucky with my older brother, because even though Mom and Dad were taken away from us early, my brother didn't make me feel like I was alone or that something was missing in my life because he filled my parenthood."

We talked for a few minutes before she said goodbye to me and went into his brother's office. I can't help but smile for both of them, how lucky they are to be siblings, it's obvious that they both protect and care for each other.
