Storm POV

It's Monday but I'm still at home. My sister left early because she and Nigel were going somewhere. I'm happy that they get back together.

I just finished taking a bath because  I'm planning to visit my parents today. It's been a month since I last visited them because I've been busy with the company and a lot of meetings.

When I finished getting ready, I took my wallet and car keys and left the room. First I drove to a flower shop and bought fresh flowers that were my mother's favorite.

It didn't take long before I reached where my parents were and opened the gate. I placed the flower I brought in front of their tombstone and sat next to it.

"Happy Anniversary Mom and Dad! How are you there in heaven? Are you happy together? I am working hard for the company and until now Alcantara is still at the top, while the cafe and boutique are also extremely successful because of Kiara," I said.

"We know how hard you worked for those things and we will take good care of it. We will always make the two of you proud." when I talk to them,"

"I feel betrayed by both of you because you didn't even prepare me for this thing, it gives me so much pain and trauma. We were happy that day and  I didn't think it would be the last time I would hear your voice, I didn't think it would be the last time I'll see your smiles, I didn't think it would be the last time I'd hold your hands tightly, and most of all I didn't think I'd be the one to bury you. At a young age I experienced it so it brought me so much pain that I could hardly get up and to this day I'm still mourning," I added and tears began to fall from the eyes that I had been holding back.

"It's been so many years already since you died, but I'm still missing you both each day. To be honest, I'm so tired. Tired of pretending that I'm happy because the truth is I'm not, sometimes I want to just follow you but I know it's not possible because my sister still needs me. Mom, Dad I don't know when I will finally accept that you are gone because until now the pain is still here. I'm sorry if I still can't let you go," I added.

Afterward, someone suddenly held my shoulder and when I looked back, I saw my sister who was smiling and handed me the handkerchief.

"You're crying again brother, that's why you're not at home because you're already here. You didn't even wait for me," she snorted.

I wiped my tears with the handkerchief she gave me. "I thought you came here earlier before you and Nigel went somewhere," I answered her.

"No, I planned to go here with you. I didn't know you will be here this early,"

"I have nothing to do at home. Where is Nigel?" I asked.

"He parked the car," she answered and placed the flower she was carrying. "Happy Anniversary in heaven daddy and mommy," she touched the tombstones. "It's been many years already," she added.

"I agree! You were just a baby being carried by Uncle Dark and Uncle Cain but look at you now, you've grown into an amazing woman like mom," I said.

"Same as you brother! You've become successful and I know Dad is so proud of what you are now,"

"And I'm sure they are also proud of you. And please be mature enough because I won't be with you forever," I said.

She looked at me. "What do you mean? Don't tell me you're leaving!"

I laughed because of what she said. "Silly, I'm not leaving. You know that I always support you, right? What I mean is that day will come when you'll have your own family. We won't be together forever." I explained to her.

"I'm still not married, you're thinking too much,"

"Did you forget that you're already engaged?" I asked in disbelief.

"Of course not, but the thing you're talking about will take a long time to happen. You still didn't have a new girlfriend! I want to get married if you already found the woman who will be with you forever,"

"Did you hear what my sister said, Nigel? It seems that she will not marry you if I'm still single," I said when I saw Nigel who had just arrived.

"I know about that because Kiara always tells me that. You need to get married first before us," he said.

"It's a good thing you know? So you still have time to think about whether you're going to tie the knot with my sister, she will just bring a headache to your life," I said while teasing Kiara.

Kiara quickly hit my shoulder. "If you talk like that as if I'm not your sister." she started nagging.

"I just want to warn Nigel so he'll be aware in case you two get married," I said while laughing.

If you haven't asked, Nigel is the son of Tito Dark and Aunt Calliyah, they're my parent's best friends. So I have a lot of trust in him when he told me before that he would court my sister.

We spent a few hours there before deciding to leave, the three of us ate at a restaurant, and then I said goodbye to the two of them that I had to leave first because I had to go to the office. I had no plans to go in today but since I had nothing else to do, I decided to work and see if there was anything I needed to sign.
